"Why don't journalists support free speech anymore?"
Because they're assholes. Short-sighted, low-intelligence, incompetent assholes. Generally speaking.
Post Modernist leftist activists, but your definition stands.
I'm making $90 an hour working from home. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning sixteen thousand US dollars a month by working on the connection, that was truly astounding for me, she prescribed for me to attempt it simply. Everybody must try this job now by just using this website... http://www.Payathome7.com
I get paid over (90$ to 500$ / hour ) working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I would be able to do it but my best friend earns over $22000 a month doing this and she convinced me to try. it was all true and has totally changed my life… This is what I do, check it out by Visiting Following web….

Your comment seems redundant to the previous comment. You just said what he said using synonyms.
Nah, that's not it. "Journalists" are really political activists and since they know their allies decide which speech should be suppressed they support it as benefitting their political preferences.
I think all three of you are right!
Great article, Mike. I appreciate your work, I’m now creating over $35,500 dollars each month simply by doing a simple job online! I do know You currently making a lot of greenbacks online from $28,500 dollars, its simple online operating jobs.

This is what I was going to say. Aside from themselves and their comrades, propagandists have never supported free speech.
Because they were once taught to find the truth.
Now they are taught to disseminate the "truth" (aka the narrative).

There's a connection that nobody at Reason is intelligent or honest enough to make.
They're convinced the government is on THEIR side.
In spite of the people they support whining about how mean they are, they are convinced that they are their allies.

Those first two words don’t really apply.
"Special" might.
We have to wait for more damning Biden laptop news before we can get new indictments.
I think the trans dude in lipstick sums this situation up extremely well. That may be the most libertarian picture in the last 8 years.

I thought ENB was working this corner.
I thought she was busy holding up the "Honk if you think he's guilty" sign.
[Golf clap] Well done.
Have We Lost Track of the Trump Indictments Yet?
Sullum's office walls are covered with post-it notes and string.
Well it’s obvious that a person’s guilt is determined by how many charges they have against them.
That was Robby's standard for the Kavenaugh accusations.
Still the most infuriating moment on this site.
"Highly credible" = anti-corroboration (all her "witnesses" said it did not happen) and no clue where or when it occurred. I do not care if Kavanaugh was establishment --- that was a bullshit incident and Reason played along.
I'm kinda vampiring the hope should I feel bad about it?
To be fair, on my wall, I have two push pins with one string between them. One has Fauci's face on it, the other has the Wuhan lab.
It's like a Venn diagram with one circle.
The list of "really important shit" that is getting completely ignored in this country is astonishing.
The lies coordinated out of Fauci's office should be a Nixon level scandal. Millions died - and these ass-hats lied about some really important stuff.... and successfully recruited the help of a very compliant media and political machine.
And that is just a tiny scandal next to the *really* big scandals.
But sure, let's spend another $40 million prosecuting a politician saying he thought he won. That's genius! Zero democrat losers in the last 40 years have failed to do the same thing. Zero republican losers have used the CIA and FBI to spy on and frame their political opponents, attempting to overturn the elections.
Yet....
Wall to Wall UFO coverage.
Well to be fair, the UFO story could be the biggest story of the millennium.
It's really something to see. There are like 10 things going on that should be major scandals. I'm probably undercounting. All being studiously ignored by the legacy media.
I listen to NPR from time to time to see what's on the regular news. Apparently all that's happening is a writers strike, some hot weather and Trump getting indicted.
Can you at least add some pictures of the puppies?
Because they're authoritarian clowns.
“Why don’t journalists support free speech anymore?”
Well, you guys should know. Every single one of you cheered this every step of the way. The only voices at Reason who were even reluctantly opposed to the rising tide of censorship and cancellation were Robby and the Jacket.
You guys were particularly vocal in your support of censorship. You were over the moon at the deplatforming of Alex Jones and another handful of conservative voices. You guys supported the notion that "private companies" should be policing wrongthink.
Why don't reporters support free speech..... Sheesh. Why don't you tell us exactly why *you* didn't? You know, back when it might have made some small measure of a difference.
Now the battle has moved on. Free speech is over for the largest swath of the public. Now the final battle is at hand. Access to the banking system. We see Europe moving quickly to "unbank" their political enemies... and in Australia it looks for all the world like they are on the precipice of eliminating cash transactions - something the left has been auguring for here for years.
No access to the public. No way to pay your bills, get paid, or even buy food. Good luck being a dissenting voice. Heck, we have even seen group punishments here in the US with companies like AirBNB and VRBO refusing service to *relatives* of disfavored individuals.
But good job. You pointed out that the barn door needs closing after the horse is gone. Heck, you helped hold it open. But sure, cluck your tongues as if you are not part of the problem. Being a defender of free speech doesn't count for so much if you only do it when you agree with people.
Why don't journalists support free speech anymore?
This is usually the exact sort of thing that happens several years to several decades after you give up having integrity, reporting the facts as you know them, researching a story...
If you fling enough oatmeal at the wall, eventually some of it sticks. But it doesn't mean the wall deserved the oatmeal.
Why doesn't Reason support Free Speech any more? Haven't seen a word about Kaepernick's Free Speech in 6 yrs of open segregation
Kaepernick has free speech.
He just does not have the right to a job as QB in the NFL when he lost his starting position to Blaine Gabbert and has not played pro football in, what, six years?
His supporters seem to forget how terrible he was before his "look at MEEEE!" attention whoring.
The number of indictments let's even morons and imbeciles figure out this is totally political. Of course idiots will never figure that out, they don't have the mental capacity for that.
For "loving liberty" you seem to support someone too much who would gladly take it away.
I would say get your head out of your ass but I'm afraid it's permanently affixed.
LL does not seem to love Biden, who is happily limiting free speech, choice in products, etc.
Mussolini would tell Biden to, maybe, pump the brakes a little.
Most indicted president ever. Bigly.
If you have experienced substantial financial loss as a result of fraudulent investments, it is crucial to take prompt action. Prioritize conducting comprehensive research, validating the credentials of any recovery service you may be considering, and obtaining recommendations from reliable sources before proceeding with their assistance. I have come across positive feedback about winsburg.net , which may be worth exploring.
They are not journalists. They are mouthpieces for the party.
Look at how many worked in a political capacity before taking the news job. Stephanopoulos is a top news personality for example.
Democrats tried to stop a candidate.
Candidate wins and Democrat candidate loser has a long list of who is to blame.
Democrats try every trick possible to overthrow that election and the first term of the President.
Term is up and no prediction has proven to be fact and President is not re-elected.
Democrat candidate wins despite mental issues and age and losing incumbent is still attacked in effort to disqualify him from future elections.
The media has been relentless and still love freedom of press regardless of truth or facts. Washington DC represents itself, corruption and incompetence cannot be hidden.
Indictments are issued several years later in effort to disqualify and imprison said candidate. Balance of power is gone and the court is corrupt and nobody denies that fact.
What is the ultimate goal of the Democrat party? To rule forever? Nobody asks, yet the JFK theorists have much less REASON JFK was assassinated, of course none are correct or true.
But nobody asks what the hell are these Democrats really doing and how do they get their supporters to speak with one tongue in unison? How does America fail? We do not know as it hasn't before but we may be taking that ride now. And we are
