Liz Wolfe is an associate editor at Reason who publishes Reason Roundup—a morning newsletter briefing of what's going on in politics and culture—every weekday. She also writes about parenting in the upside-down world of New York City and how allowing a bit of risk went out of style.
For Reason TV, she has produced an award-winning documentary on homelessness, a short documentary on tradwives, and interviews with sex workers and tattoo artists. For Reason, she has interviewed everyone from tech types—venture capitalists, CEOs, and crypto hype men—to restaurateurs, writing about how communists, the federal government, and hypersensitive Bushwick hipsters have all historically tried to ruin food and dining for the rest of us.
She was formerly managing editor of The Federalist. Her work has appeared in Playboy, The Daily Beast, Pirate Wires, Bloomberg's CityLab, Houston Chronicle, The Dallas Morning News, the New York Post, and National Review. She has appeared on The New York Times podcast, The Argument. She has appeared as a guest on Kennedy and Varney & Co., both on Fox Business, on The Glenn Beck Show, and on The Megyn Kelly Show.
