Americans Aren't Buying 'Bidenomics'
Plus: Idaho can't enforce ban on transgender girls playing on female sports teams, Minneapolis may mandate minimum wage for ride-share drivers, and more...

President Joe Biden's approval ratings are especially low when it comes to the economy, according to the latest Associated Press/NORC poll. Just 36 percent of those surveyed said Biden is doing a good job handling the economy.
The Biden administration pushed hard this month to convince voters that his initiatives—termed "Bidenomics"—have positively impacted the economy. Americans aren't buying it.
The A.P./NORC poll was conducted between August 10-14 and surveyed 1,165 American adults.
Overall, 42 percent approved of the job Biden has been doing as president.
"Both figures are close to where Biden's approval numbers have stood for about the past year and a half," notes A.P. "Signs of an improving economic outlook have done little to sway how people feel about the Democratic president as he gears up for a 2024 reelection campaign that could pit him against his predecessor and 2020 opponent, Republican Donald Trump."
For most of his presidency, Trump routinely received relatively good ratings for his handling of the economy, and they often exceeded his overall approval ratings. These numbers did start to slip, however, as the pandemic wore on in 2020.
The worst news for Biden concerns his 2024 presidential bid: Only 24 percent of all poll respondents said they want to see him run for president again. More than half of Democrats surveyed—55 percent—do not want to see Biden run again, though 82 percent said they would support him if he does.
Among Democratic poll respondents, Biden got a 65 percent approval rating on the economy and a 76 percent approval rating overall.
Younger Democrats were more likely to disapprove on both fronts, with only 52 percent of poll respondents ages 18 to 44 approving of Biden on economic issues and 68 percent approving of his job overall.
Around two-thirds of younger Democrats surveyed said they don't want to see Biden run for president again.
In contrast, Trump's presidential run has relatively strong support among Republicans, even after several criminal indictments.
The A.P.-NORC poll found 63 percent of Republicans want to see Trump run for president again, up from 55 percent who said as much in April.
But while Trump may engender more loyalty among the GOP than Biden does among Democrats, 53 percent of people in the A.P.-NORC poll said they would "definitely not" vote for Trump, with another 11 percent saying they would "probably not" vote for him. Only 43 percent said they would definitely not vote for Biden, with another 11 percent saying they probably wouldn't vote for him.

Idaho cannot enforce its ban on transgender girls playing on female sports teams. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit upheld an injunction against the state enforcing the law, which judges said was likely unconstitutional. "U.S. Circuit Judge Kim McLane Wardlaw … said a lower-court judge did not abuse his discretion in finding that the categorical ban likely violates transgender students' equal protection rights under the U.S. Constitution's 14th Amendment," reports NBC News.
Twenty-two other states have passed similar laws, according to the conservative legal group Alliance Defending Freedom. North Carolina joined that list this week after the state's Republican-led legislature overrode Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper's veto of a bill prohibiting transgender girls from playing on female sports teams in middle school, high school, and college.
North Carolina's lawmakers also overrode Cooper's veto of bills banning gender transition treatments for minors, limiting discussion of gender and sexual orientation in K-4 classrooms, and requiring teachers to notify parents before they call a student by a different name or pronouns.

Minneapolis approves minimum wage mandate for Lyft and Uber drivers. New legislation passed by the Minneapolis City Council would set a minimum wage for drivers with Lyft, Uber, and other ride-sharing companies. "The proposed ordinance mandates at least $1.40 per mile and $0.51 per minute within Minneapolis be paid to drivers," reports CNN."Mayor Jacob Frey has the opportunity to veto the ordinance and has until next Wednesday, August 23, to do so."
Lyft and Uber will likely stop doing business in Minneapolis if Frey signs the bill into law. "If this bill were to pass, we would unfortunately have no choice but to greatly reduce service, and possibly shut down operations entirely," Uber told drivers in a Monday email.
"Should this proposal become law, Lyft will be forced to cease operations in the City of Minneapolis on its effective date of January 1, 2024," Lyft wrote in a letter to city council members.
The company told CNN that the measure would lead to drivers earning less money "because prices could double and only the most wealthy could still afford a ride."

It got press for the day and that what is important to Trump. I suspect his supporters will remember the promise to deliver more than they will remember no report was produced.
It's not like he's had two and a half years to come up with "irrefutable evidence" and has so far managed to produce bupkis.

Sarcasm - I wouldn’t exactly consider Newsmax liberal.
In sarc’s defense, he’s very dumb.

Isn’t that called ‘wet brain’? One of my brother’s in law has a younger brother that suffers from that. Although he manages to hold down a job and isn’t a pathetic pussy, like Sarc.
I’m guessing sarc is a pill popper too.

I’ve shared this graph before and I’m sharing it again.
Trump is being indicted for challenging the 2020 election results.
This is by far the most alarming graph you will see regarding the 2020 election.
Bellwether counties, which correctly selected the winning candidate up until the 2020 election, overwhelmingly voted for Trump yet Biden won the election by a strong margin.
Anyone with any critical thinking skills would look at this graph and alarm bells would go off in their head.
Instead, we are supposed to sit back, close our eyes, just accept that this is normal and watch the people who questioned this go to prison.
[Link]
Bellwether counties don't make for a very convincing argument for fraud. There's a few thousand counties in our country, so a few picked the winner for a few elections, it's coincidental. If you looked at every county over the past 100+ years you would find that some counties were considered bellwethers decades ago and haven't been for a long time. "Bellwether" counties change over time.
Do you know what statistical analysis is? These counties aren't randomly chosen, they have been consistent over decades.
On top of that you can find a dozen or so investigations by statisticians showing ballot batches way outside expected statistical norms that all slanted exclusively for Biden. So this is not the only indicated.
On top of that you have a dozen court cases won regarding illegal election rule changes, affidavits from people who were told they voted by mail when they didn't, people who have US Mail change of address that moved out of state but still voted in state, people voted in wrong districts after moving, etc.
Flush that fetus! is Buttplug.
Color me unsurprised.
Of course it is. It’s hard for unrepentant oedophiles to get any traction in an argument. Especially a factless lying asshole like him. Same with Misek, who now appears to be sock puppeting as well. Maybe he finally figured out that neo Nazis don’t have any credibility.
"On top of that you have a dozen court cases won regarding illegal election rule changes"
And that justifies disenfranchising legal voters who cast legal votes in a legal manner? They intentionally voted against Trump. Deal with it.
"affidavits from people who were told they voted by mail when they didn’t"
From people who, when asked to testify under oath, reply, "Under oath? Like, perjury? Uh, never mind".
"people who have US Mail change of address that moved out of state but still voted in state"
You mean the people, almost exclusively Trump voters (notably in The Villages) that got caught voting twice? Or the other people who only voted in the proper district? So proof of nothing except the ability to detect voters voting in multiple states?
"people voted in wrong districts after moving"
You mean people voting for the first time in a new place didn't always go to the right polling place? Shocking.
No one has ever claimed that there were no illegal. The claim is that it was typical of a Presidential election, with the vast majority comprising inadvertant/unintentional illegal votes and almost none being intentional fraud. And it's only about 10k votes spread throughout the country.
The claim that there was widespread, election-changing, all-against-Trump voter fraud has been shown, repeatedly, to be an easily-disproved delusion.
There was nothing typical about the fraud on the 2020 election.
The left refuses to look at the evidence and then insist no evidence exists. That is the same rationale used by Governor Kemp of Georgia, the media, and the judges in many of those cases.
Everyone's looked at the "evidence" and seen that it lacks both credibility and sanity. When blind faith meets reality, reality always wins.
Nope. You’re full of shit.
Is he talking about Trump winning more bellwether counties and states? Not surprisingly, that's intentionally cut down from the real stats, where Biden won more of both. Here's the link, which is where the "18 of 19 bellwether couties" came from:
https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/where-did-all-the-bellwether-counties-go/
But since it's an actual analysis of changing demographics I'm sure the "Trump won" crowd won't accept it.
So you're back to using the "Nelson" sock, Jeffy?
Your manufactured "socks" were pretty easily exposed. I muted "myself" and half of them disappeared, then I muted "n00bdragon" and the other half disappeared.
Plus there was the weird link to John Adams' Wikipedia page when you tapped the name. I'm not sure what you were trying to say with that, but it was more evidence of your sad attempt to accuse everyone you don't like of being a sock.
Out of curiosity, were you trying to insinuate that you had hacked into all 20+ accounts? Are you some sort of stealth superhacker?
Your babbling indicates you should be involuntarily committed to an insane asylum. Or euthanized.
I don't put much stock in the outright fraud of stuffing ballot boxes changing the election. That's been going on probably since the first post-GW election. What I do believe is that the Clinton-Obama-Biden-media-deep state cabal threw the fence sitters against Trump, and are a far worse threat to democracy than Trump's ignorance and arrogance.
I also think democracy sucks, that when an election will piss off half the country regardless of who wins, something is wrong, such as, could it be, too much government sticking its nose into too much every day life, to the point that it is literally more productive, financially and emotionally, to sic the government on other people than to mind your own business.
The only way out of this mess is for the mess to get so bad that it can't be ignored. I doubt it will be a bloody revolution. More likely it will be a grass roots constitutional convention, but whether it will roll back the state by 90%, or expand it to 90%, I cannot guess.

Hey, Nardz! Here's a little tiff going on among your buddies:
Russians Orthodox Church Probes Priest Who Blessed Stalin Statue
https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2023/08/18/russian-orthodox-church-probes-priest-who-blessed-stalin-statue-a82178
So why is this a surprise to anyone?
The Russian Orthodox Church gets it's bread and butter from Putin's regime, who has revived the cult of mass-murderer of 20+ million Joseph Stalin! So if some of Kyrill's Priesthood gets a little zealous in highlighting the rhapsodizing of Stalin, what's all the huckle-buck?
And hey! The Priest Father Anatolyi said this too:
While he admitted that "the church suffered" during Stalin's rule, Father Anatolyi also credited the Soviet-era persecution of Orthodox priests and believers for bringing the church “many new martyrs,” according to the independent news outlet SOTA.
Yep, you can't have a religion that venerates the sacrifice of a God-Man and the martyrdom of believers without someone to actually do the martyrdom, right?
Sorry, folks, religious freedom does not mean running a State-funded Cult of human sacrifice in the name of "sincerely-held religious belief."
And don't ever tell me that the basis for Libertarianism is religion in general and Christianity in particular. This here Atheist Libertarian is quite good at upholding Liberty with nobody watching him.
Is this like saying catholic churches get money from Rome since they do as a means to dismiss or remove them as being an allowed faith?
No, I'm saying in both cases that the whole damn thing is rotten from fish head to fish tail and is no guide for human ethics and morality.
And that it is more ethical to then ban someone's free practice of religion?
If a religion includes human sacrifice, uh, Hell yes!
So do you have some kind of point in all of that?
Chuds were among the many persecuted by Joseph Stalin and his Minions, so I would think the point would be clear enough about how fucked up this Russian Orthodox Father Anatolyi is, as well as how fucked up the Church is for allying with aspiring Neo-Stalinist Putin.
Stalin knew better than to fuck with the CHUDs. CHUDs rule the underground.
"Yep, you can’t have a religion that venerates the sacrifice of a God-Man and the martyrdom of believers without someone to actually do the martyrdom, right?"
So Stalin was pro-Christianity because he killed them turning them into martyrs.
That's a CNN-level hot take, Encog.
Evidently, Father Anatolyi thought so.
🙂
😉
I think you are willfully ignorant and choosing to frame this issue in a way that makes sense to you as a non-Christian and hater of Russia. Any religious leader is going to try to bring people back to a place of remembrance and forgiveness, that’s why he made the ‘martyrs’ comment. He is saying that Stalin was terrible, but that he created a lot of believers out of the regime, who stood up for Christ and paid the penalties. And believing in small government does not entail being an atheist.
I hate Putin, Kyrill, and their henchmen and feel for their Russian and Ukrainian victims.
And if belief in a God and religion means venerating an idol to a mass murderer like Stalin, then I would say Atheist Libertarianism is the more ethical and moral stance.
Stalin was a hero to many of your fellow atheists. Atheism and Marxism tend to go hand in hand.
Oh, and unless Father Anatolyi can turn back time and bring Stalin's dead back to life, there can be no talk of forgiveness in the same breath with the name Joseph Stalin. Fuck that shit!
You don’t seem to be a person that believes in nuance very much, probably the biggest problem with our society right now, a whole lot of black and white. Statin’s dead would be dead regardless at this point, they are trying to heal from that trauma.
Say what you like about Joe Stalin, but he killed a hell of a lot of communists. Second only to Mao.

"He has it. He discussed it in 2020. The reports have existed."
No, really! This time is different!
When are you conspiracy theorists going to accept that you are Charlie Brown with the football? There has never been anything more than unverified claims that disappear when the claimants are asked to go under oath and rambling diatribes about the deep state. There will never be anything more because it isn't real. We're probably over 1000 inquiries, audits, and recounts (plus the whole Cyber Ninjas debacle). Every single time the result is the same.
But this time will be different, right Charlie Brown?
its also ironic that facts of improper actions are now finally coming out.
Example of new 2020 presidential election facts just coming out?
Questions asked playing dumb?
Sure, I’m dumb. Educate me.
You have everyone that posts what you’re asking for muted, bird.
But in case anyone who Liarson hasn’t muted wants to respond, I’m sure we’ll get a genuine response from him:
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/08/muskegon-cover-up-city-illegally-denies-tgp-access/
Don’t be silly, they will mock you for posting a Gateway Pundit link and never realize their cognitive dissonance for ripping on anyone who mocks Newsweek or MSNBC.
The Gateway Pundit? You don't even want to try to pretend you're being a serious person?
Weird. No reply, and Alphabet Soup posted another comment just a bit before this where he says "I don’t put much stock in the outright fraud of stuffing ballot boxes changing the election", which means he never really disagreed with me in the first place, but just wanted to be argumentative.
Since you've muted about 90% of the commentariat, Laursen, why do you expect an answer that contradicts your preconfirmed notions, ideas, and general worldview? Seems fairly disingenuous to ask when you know you'll never receive a proper answer.
"Weird. No reply"
How the fuck would you even know? Seriously.
Damn you're perceptive ... imaginably so.
My question still stands: "Example of new 2020 presidential election facts just coming out?"
example posted 6 above you.
Here's one.
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/08/muskegon-cover-up-city-illegally-denies-tgp-access/
"example posted 6 above you."
Can you say that as a complete sentence?
Ah, Outlaw Josey Wales actually came up with something specific. So, let’s look at what happened in detail.
First thing, let’s figure out how many votes it would have taken to change the election results in the City of Muskegon…
Even though the claim is there was fraud in the City of Muskegon, I don’t know which Muskegon County precincts specifically are alleged to be affected, so let’s try to figure out how the alleged fraud affected the overall Muskegon County totals.
So, first question where I need more details: Did these applications come in during the primary or the general election? Can anyone help me out with finding the date that these applications were turned in?
Found an article from 10/31/2020 that says the applications were turned in about "three weeks ago", so that would be an attempt at fraud for the fall, general election:
https://www.wzzm13.com/article/news/politics/elections/police-investigating-after-muskegon-clerk-finds-irregularities-in-voter-registration-applications/69-569903d4-b0f0-43c4-acb5-ff96b7af9a9e
So, Outlaw Jesse Wales, I need your help here. The article about the fraudulent applications being turned in sometime in September 2020 is talking about the 8000-10,000 applications. But your Gateway Pundit article talks about a separate 2500 applications. When were those turned in?
The Gateway Pundit writers are a bit fuzzy about their numbers. The article you linked to says there are 8000-10,000 fraudulent document plus another 2500, but it links to another Gateway Pundit article that says 8000 - 12,000, so let's just assume there were 12,500 fraudulent applications turned in.
OK, but to checking the official vote counts for the general 2020 election in Muskegon County:
https://www.co.muskegon.mi.us/DocumentCenter/View/10303/2020-11-03_Cumulative_Results
If I'm reading it right, the vote was 45,643 for Biden, 45,133 for Trump -- so some fraudulent applications could make the difference. So, we've passed that bar.
So, Gateway Pundit does describe alleged stonewalling and lying preventing them from seeing the records. (Gateway Pundit also throws around a lot of language like calling the Attorney General a "far leftists" that damages their credibility a bit.)
So, here's the next questions for you, Outlaw Josey Wales. Exactly what does Gateway Pundit want to do with the documents, and what are they trying to prove?
Several more "mainstream" articles says that the fraudulent applications were not added to the voter roles, except for ones that were vetted with follow-up phone calls. That the election officials flagged them as fraudulent applications in the first place is how we all even know about the fraudulent applications.
So, as far as I can tell, this is a case where fraudulent applications were flagged, were vetted and not added to the voter rolls. So, they didn't affect the election outcome.
And, the election officials might be illegally stonewalling the Gateway Pundit investigators, in which case they should have legal recourse to force their legally-guaranteed access to the documents. But, I'm not sure what they are digging for.
See Mike. This is why it is worthless to provide you citations when you ask for them. You dismiss all information as invalid and rationalize why nobody should trust it. But when asked for your evidence you feel you dont have to provide and it is 100% accurate.
Instead of taking in information your only goal is to dismiss it no matter how weak your claims are filled with bald assertions fully uncited.
Lol, called it.
Oh and Mike, you didn’t ask for proof that enough fraud took place to change the outcome, you just asked for proof of new information. Which ML and Outlaw gave you.
Goddamn son.
And Outlaw just abandoned the discussion.
Just watch … a few days from now liars will be claiming he dropped a truth bomb and I ignored it.
The ignorant can be educated, not the dumb, especially not the ones playing dumb.
Nice dodge. My question still stands: “Example of new 2020 presidential election facts just coming out?”

You're decidedly the one playing dumb, Laursen. Ever give thought to being a commentator on MSNBC?
Go do your own research, lazy ass.
The same could be said for these indictments….
If Trump took a lawyer's advice to shut up it would be a good thing.
I think the producing of the report in more important to his critics because it gives them something to talk about. They are more likely to make a fuss about not having it than Trump's fans.
Or he listened to his lawyers. He has already stated the evidence he has on the Ga phone call dumdum.
Ga also has 40k affidavits signed stating people were told they voted by mail when they didn't.
It helps to read the story.
He should have listened to his lawyers in the White House between November 2020 and early January 2021 when they told him he lost, and to shut the fuck up. Now, he just looks like a coward.
Choke on that regime cock you're sucking
Trump has lock solid irrefutable evidence that he’s innocent and calls a press conference, and then cancels it like a chickenshit. And I suck regime cock? Maybe you can get on all fours and take trumps mushroom cock up your ass - probably not big enough for you.
"lock solid"?

Again, it helps to read the damn story you're commenting on instead of proving you're just another lefty shill.

ALAN DERSHOWITZ: Al Gore, his legal team and I tried to find uncounted presidential votes, lobbied officials and fought in the courts in 2000. The only difference now? The candidate's name is Donald Trump...
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12413181/ALAN-DERSHOWITZ-Al-Gore-2000-Donald-Trump-indictment.html
Gore was the VP that year. Did he certify the election for Bush? He did and said: “May God bless our new president and new vice president and may God bless the United States of America,” Gore said.
Was the election certified in 2021? I believe it was. Do you want the objections from Dems in the Senate for electoral votes in 2001, 2005, and 2017?
Your talking points are terrible.
I’m sorry for you that you think that addresses the topic at hand.
At least a half-dozen Democratic electors have signed onto an attempt to block Donald Trump from winning an Electoral College majority, an effort designed not only to deny Trump the presidency but also to undermine the legitimacy of the institution.
https://www.politico.com/story/2016/11/democrats-electoral-college-faithless-trump-231731
He did. He had lawyers say both there was fraud, and some that said he lost. You are saying he should have only listened to the lawyers you agree with, showing your bias.
Should Gore have been indicted for his 2000 election challenge? He was told he lost by many people but took his case to the USSC.
You seem like your analysis is entirely partisan.
What part of Orange Man Bad do you not understand Jesse?
Partisan? So you’re saying I’m a democrat for calling out Trump for being a colossally stupid loser? When did this site become a shit pile Trump homo circle jerk? Good luck with that - maybe he’s JFK Jr. and the courts will name him President of the 2020 election next week.
I’m calling you partisan for only caring about election fraud claims as being illegal when Trump did it.
And if you claim you don't think it should be criminal then why did you say he should have listened to his lawyers that you agreed with? Can't have it both ways.
Jesse, being a Soros worshipping faggot pedophile means having it both ways. It’s Shreek’s way.
The disparity of your response to Trump vs. Hillary and Gore says you’re either partisan or pro-establishment.
Why would coming late to the game of shut the fuck up be cowardly?
Calling it cowardly is the type of talking point I was referring to in my above post.
LOL - 40.000 sworn and true affidavits because Mike Lindell says so? Has any court issued findings about the veracity or even legality of those affidavits?
My god you're gullible.
It wasnt Lindell who stated that jeff. They were delivered to the SoS office in GA. Weird that this is your take jeff.
There is this pop country song out called "Rich Men North of Richmond" where the singer is calling for a socialist worker's revolution against the bourgeoisie.
That's certainly your spin.
A better take would be a pissed off plebian complaining about the oligarchical tendencies, anti-free market corporatism and radical depravity of the clerisy and political establishment.
I heard him complain about lousy overtime pay and working the night shift.
Sounds like a pro-union workers rebellion supporter.
You’re just pissed he doesn’t like pedos.
Americans Aren't Buying 'Bidenomics'
Americans liked those $1400 freebies Donnie handed out.
How long before the usual suspects whine and cry and bitch and moan that Reason must approve of 'Bidenomics' because the act of voting for him means they support everything he does (which is actually a revealing bit of projection)?
Eternity, broke ass sarc.
"Americans Aren't Buying 'Bidenomics'"
So sorry that this is happening to you two.
Thoughts and prayers, Sarc and Pluggo.
The biggest issue is posters sarc hates. Not criticizing Biden.
Awwwwwww Buttplug's crush just drove another dagger into his heart. 🙁
(Or maybe Americans don't like that 2022 was "Wall Street’s worst year since 2008.")
#Bidenomics

We might not be buying bidenomics, but we sure are paying for it
Or Idaho can say that fraud is illegal. For instance if you portray yourself as someone your not, that's fraud. Or they can tell 9th circuit to f off, and ignore them like the fags on the left do every day
Yeah, not really sure what constitutional authority the feds have to tell Idaho that they have to force girls to play with boys.
Especially given that Title IX, per stare decisis, forbids that specifically.
I'm confused they cite the 14th amendment, personally. It seems they are reading words into it that don't exist.
Penumbras man, penumbras.
See my comment below.
It should surprise no one that people are disgruntled with Joe Biden, as the economy has been showing systemic weakness for some time, as evidenced by falling real wages, rising debt, negative savings rates, and increasing delinquencies and bankruptcies.
None of this can be papered over by a pollyannaish financial media that slavishly follows their sponsors line that everything is fine.

Piss off Cleary. Nobody's going to your blog.
Just in case anyone didn't bother with the yellen mushroom thread yesterday.
An off topic story got posted yesterday of J6 prisoner abuse. Small cell, light on 24 hours a day, no calls, etc. It included photos and was a repost from another source.
First instinct by sarc was to dismiss the story based on the author who was posted and not even the original author linked into the story. He dismissed the information based solely on the source despite the long reported history. His only concern was not admitting J6 prisoners have been abused. He also denied he used an ad hominem despite him doing so. Fun thread.

This is Yuri Imanov.
He has been jailed in isolation for 2.5 years. This is the Russian cell he was held in for 5 months.
His crime was getting rowdy at a protest against Vladimir Putin.
Just kidding, this is January 6th political prisoner Ryan Samsel in America
https://twitter.com/EndWokeness/status/1692505766723268740
There is nothing bad that happens to a fed that they don't deserve
“First instinct by sarc was to dismiss the story”
Noted libertarian sarcasmic is totally in favor of jailing people without a trial, or even charges, for years if they support that evil Trump. CNN told him it was okay.
Same with the summary execution of an unarmed woman for trespassing on public property. She deserved it.
Same with the state withholding exonerating evidence at trials.
But Sarcasmic also notes it’s not okay if Russia or Saudi Arabia do it. Then it's bad.
Why is he in solitary? Because he's a J6 rioter? Or could it be for other reasons?
Literally because he is a J6 rioters. Please cite evidence of him being a danger or committing an action normally given to solitary confined prisoners jeff. He also isnt the only one. Congress has reports on the DC jails also denying basic rights to J6 prisoners.
"jailing people without a trial, or even charges, for years"
Zero J6 defendants have been jailed without charges. Will you believe anything?
‘Without a trial’
Of course, being a leftist means selectively taking things out of context. It’s part of your intrinsic dishonesty.
Why would reason care about poor prison conditions. They never ran a story about this before
They can't talk about it without getting de-listed on Google and YouTube.
Idaho cannot enforce its ban on transgender girls playing on female sports teams.
Idaho will allow trannies to compete, however:
Idaho will prohibit trannies from entering girls locker rooms or rest rooms,
Idaho will prevent recognizing males competing as females as "winners"
Simply put, the trannies can run on the track with the girls, but that's it. It will be like having an NPC competing.
That argument was pursued by the ACLU’s client, Lindsay Hecox, a transgender athlete who sought to join the women’s track team at Boise State University.
The trannies' name is Hecox!!! Fuck, that is funny!!!
Lol
The trannies’ name is Hecox!!! Fuck, that is funny!!!
The tranny's first name is Lindsay, which used to be a male name. Talk about an epic troll.
We will have to transition (yes, I said that) to sports for XX-DNA and XY-DNA.
So the same as before with only the language being fucked around with for the sake of a few perverts demands.
Welcome to the revolution.
Time for no gendered sports. Let's see how that goes over. BTW if this makes it to SCOTUS you know how Gorsuch will vote.
""Time for no gendered sports."'
I throw this out there every now and then to people who think trans should play on a woman's team. Why not just have one team and the best players play? They will usually make your point by claiming men have a biological advantage.
'Men's Sports' have always been 'Open Division'.
Depends on the sport and the athletic conference.
I personally think that if you go through puberty with male hormones you have to compete in the male divisions. It's the physiological advantages of male puberty that create the differentiation in performance. Specifically muscle and bone density (which provides better leverage).
Which 'men's sports' or conferences prohibit female competitors?
What about XXY and XYY? I'm convinced most people in Congress are one of the 2.
Can't some lizards change their sex? I know fish can.
They can indeed.
However, no mammal can change sex. Sexual differentiation and sexual dimorphism are inherent traits of the entire class. Every mammal is either male or female. To imply otherwise would be completely unscientific.
We're talking about Congress, though.
Most of them are somewhere on the invertebrate to reptilian spectrum.
Usually they're either snakes or worms.
Definitely on some kind of spectrum. It might be the sociopathic disorder spectrum.
I think the 9th circuit is around 0-800 when determining if something is or is not constitutional.
Even the liberals on the court make a sport of slapping down the 9th.
Given that the 9th circuit provided no definition for "transgender" this is going to be rip-roaring good fun.
There's no such thing as "transgender girls"
There's dudes wearing panties playing dress up pretend. that's it.
I love the term the Federalist uses; "womanface".
I always get confused. Shouldn't the term "transgender girl" be applied to a person who was born a girl who is pretending to be a boy?
It will be like having an NPC competing.
Slight disagreement. NPCs are meant for interaction, not competition. This will be more like the "Suggested Line", "Perfect Lap Guide", "Ghost Car" in racing games to show the other competitors how poorly they're doing compared to more perfect racers.
"Ghost Competitor"
"Nega Female Racer"
Ok, Ghost Competitor works 🙂
We need to return to the practice of doing all sports naked, like ancient Greeks.
NBA free agent Enes Freedom went viral earlier this week when he questioned when the outrage would begin about transgender females playing in women’s sports.
He asked whether he should "put on a wig identify as a woman and start dominating the WNBA?"
"If you read my tweet, I pretty much said it. Biological males don't belong in women’s spaces. I’m talking about restrooms. I’m talking about shower rooms. I’m talking about locker rooms, I’m talking about sports pretty much," he explained.
"I’m just in shock this even is a debate. There are many cases out there in restrooms, in locker rooms. Females are very uncomfortable, very uncomfortable. I believe it was in Virginia there was one case. It was a rape case I believe.
"So, I was like, enough is enough, male athletes should just go out there and support that cause. No male athlete out there would do that because they’re scared of getting canceled. So you know what, I was like, I’ll be the first one."
Freedom then joked on Instagram and X, the company formerly known as Twitter, about the wig. He pasted a photo of himself in a wig over a picture of Wilt Chamberlain when Chamberlain scored 100 points in a single game.
"It was funny because I actually wanted to show my point," Freedom said. "I was like, listen, I am 7 feet, 270 pounds. And if I just identify myself as a woman and just say, ‘You know what? OK, I’m joining the WNBA’. I would destroy everyone. Literally everyone — average 60 points and 30 rebounds, whatever. I came up with this name Enisha. People loved it actually. But I’m just saying, it would just not be fair.
"I’m just curious because I do a lot of human rights work around the world, and many of the works that I do is about women. I work with a lot of feminists out there. … But when it comes to this issue – where are they? I’m actually trying to figure it out why they haven’t said a word about this issue."
The feminists who are speaking are receiving death threats and being mocked as 'terfs'.
Personally, I've been hoping for a protest movement from male athletes where they do simply that - compete in the men's division, put on a wig, and go compete in the women's competition (especially those where the rules are basically self-ID only). Then, when they win, hand the trophy to the real first place winner.
I feel this will only change when people are confronted with obvious exploitation of bad rules (not just the covert exploitation by people who are willing to publicly pretend they are sincere.)
I said much the same below.
"...said a lower-court judge did not abuse his discretion in finding that the categorical ban likely violates transgender students' equal protection rights under the U.S. Constitution's 14th Amendment,""
So, if I identify as a billionaire, does the government have to give me a billion dollars? Shouldn't I have the same amount of money as any other billionaire? seems like that's equal rights to me.
I keep thinking all this might end when the rules they made are used against them.
For example, "While not all transgender people transition, a great many do at some point in their lives. Gender transition looks different for every person. Possible steps in a gender transition may or may not include changing your clothing, appearance, name, or the pronoun people use to refer to you (like “she,” “he,” or “they”)." [https://transequality.org/issues/resources/frequently-asked-questions-about-transgender-people]
E.g., Obama's Dear Collegue Title IX guidance:
The Departments interpret Title IX to require that when a student or the student’s parent or guardian,
as appropriate, notifies the school administration that the student will assert a gender identity that
differs from previous representations or records, the school will begin treating the student consistent
with the student’s gender identity. Under Title IX, there is no medical diagnosis or treatment
requirement that students must meet as a prerequisite to being treated consistent with their gender
identity.
So I can "transition" without changing my clothing, appearance, name, pronoun, ID...and all I have to do to make that binding is to tell someone I am transgender and they HAVE TO ACCEPT IT WITHOUT QUESTION.
In light of, say, California's quota laws on females on corporate boards...just get the men on the board to "transition".
Get some high-school basketball coach to field an all transgender team and win some girls championships. Get some college coaches to field an all transgender soccer team to the same effect (I mean, some 15-under boys team beat the USWNT...how hard can it be?).
Get some "transgender" men to camp out in ladies rooms across the country.
These and other public mocking of the notion that simply stating "I'm transgender" and expecting the world to obey might just be the impetus needed to bring some sanity to the situation.
Let me guess the 9 arrested officers said something bad about the FBI. Good thing the FBI didn't show up and execute them
The 9 arrested officers didn't kill themselves.
There was another FBI shooting in an early morning raid yesterday.
On the brightside an IRS agent was killed training at a gun range.
I am trying not to grin at the IRS agent getting killed during training and failing. Fuck the secret police.
I'm not trying. 😀
If they can't survive at the range they don't deserve to live.
Even worse, they sent racist text messages.
Federal Judge in Minnesota sides with children giving them the ability to set all US energy policy through lawsuits.
https://legalinsurrection.com/2023/08/montana-judge-sides-with-activists-in-childrens-climate-trial/
A different Federal Judge rules schools don't have to inform parents of attempts by schools to transition their kids.
https://legalinsurrection.com/2023/08/maryland-parents-cant-sue-school-over-secret-gender-transitioning-federal-appeals-court-rules/
Montana, Jesse.
Anyway, free states will simply ignore these rulings as they have no authority over the real world.
Sorry. Read it yesterday. Should have reread before linking.
The obvious counter is to consider the bullshit that the kids want, but pass a law mandating that any energy projects also consider total chain cost and pollution metrics. i.e.: pollution from manufacturing and disposing of windmill blades and generators, and solar panels.
I suspect that once that shit no longer is allowed to be handwaved off, it'll become remarkably obvious how terrible those technologies actually are.
They then sued to have doc mcstuffins on constant repeated during school
“challenged the constitutionality of the State’s fossil fuel-based state energy system.”
WTF?
"Also, your logo looks like a sideways vagina and I find that to be racist."
Ford CEO pushing EVs admits driving EVs for trips is a pain in the ass. His trip was from California to Nevada.
https://www.foxbusiness.com/technology/fords-ceo-admits-reality-check-during-f-150-lightning-route-66-road-trip
You can drive EVs very nicely if you stay on Interstates. If you get back on the State routes and two-lane blacktops, good luck.
Or tow anything, or drive them in too cold temperatures, or drive them in too hot temperatures, or drive them uphill… They do pretty good rolling downhill.
Gonna have to dust off my old yugo jokes.
Why do evs have heated rear windows? So the driver can keep his hands warm while pushing it
The difference being that a Yugo was light, about 1 ton, versus an EV, which can run about 2 tons.
Yeah but the EV will make your hands waaay warmer!
Yeah, that lithium battery fire can run hot and is a bitch to put out.
yugo?
No you don't.
Don't give Biden ideas to draft a spend plan of hundreds if billions to build hills.
Vote Biden 2024 - Downhill Both Ways!
[fingers crossed]
MSNBC when gop votes against it - "Republicans want your grandmother to walk up hill both ways!!!"
I know people with EVs when on 80 to nevada and they had to wait hours for working chargers out of several dozen to chose from in Truckee
You can drive EVs very nicely if you stay on Interstates.
I drove a Chevy Spark for 3 years. In addition to losing range and extended charge time due to the need to maintain the batteries' temperature range, it lost significant range any time I drove over 60 mph. The only reason it worked for me is because I was driving to work on back-country roads that rarely exceeded 50 mph.
When I got out on the interstate, range dropped by 30%. I suppose if you draft behind semis, you might get that back, but EVs really suffer at speed from air resistance. And with the low center of gravity, the smaller ones get squirrely to control.
A low center of gravity is usually an improvement in vehicle dynamics. Think of a pickup with bags of cement suspended above the bed on a roof rack, vs one with bags of cement laying in the bed. Which one is squirrely? I assume your other statements are experience derived and true though… One of my co-workers drives a Spark to and fro to work, and he says it’s great for that. They have a real car for other uses.
It seemed like I had to steer pretty firmly against any stiff cross-breeze. Could have something to do with engineering a highly aerodynamic shape to conserve power generating lift when driving at higher speeds. I know race cars have spoilers for a reason.
Going around corners it handled like a go cart. Fun to drive.
"Both sides": You can drive gasoline and hybrid engines nicely on state routes and two lane black tops and even better on interstates.
It really is insane how unabashedly every advantage is thrown at EVs, for decades now, and you still have to take two steps to the left and squint to see them come out even.
Hybrids make sense. Pure EVs are fucking retarded.
This is the way^
Funny thing, every problem with electric vehicles was known as far back as the last numbered war.
We had hybrid powered warships then.
They spent a lot of time on the surface using fossil fuels, instead of submerged using batteries.
Eventually we’ll all have cars like the ones in the Super Mario Bros movie that are powered similarly to bumper cars. That way you won’t be able to use “unapproved” routes (like leaving your 15 minute city or something unthinkable like that).
What powered the karts that the Kong clan used?
Mushrooms.
Also powers Yellens economic mind set.
We have one EV and one SUV. The EV is a very good car for the use it is intended for (ride share driving within an urban area). It has definitely saved us money on fuel and maintenance costs compared to the similar sized hybrid car we previously used (and that was before the gas price hikes).
We don't take it on road trips, though, nor would I take it camping or any other type of activity outside of city driving. That's what our gas powered SUV is for.
Switching to an EV is a good call for some people, but not everyone. I don't disparage EV as a technology like some, but the push from the government to force everyone to get one is just wrong and short-sighted for all the reasons people list where it is just the wrong car for the job.
President Biden brought the country back from the pandemic recession. He has a good story to tell and while it is selling slowly, I suspect it will gain ground as the election nears. One of the biggest reasons for this is that at this point it has nothing to compete against. I will not be looking for Republicans to tell me about the failure of Bidenomics, I will be looking to see what they propose as an alternative.
President Biden brought the country back from the pandemic recession.
The only thing the government can do to get the country out of a recession is to get out of the way, which it never does. So if anything the economy would be doing a lot better had the president done nothing.
You are correct that the recession would likely have ended without any government help. Government can do things to accelerate the process and will usually do this to please the public. There is no way to tell if doing nothing would be better, because it never happens.
Government can do things to accelerate the process and will usually do this to please the public.
That statement can only be true if opportunity cost does not exist.
Most people can comprehend only the "seen". They very rarely consider the "unseen".
See. This is why this sock is the best parody for Jeff.
I TRIED TO TELL YOU GUYS!
While I don’t agree Biden has a good story, I do agree that the Republicans only plan for rescuing the economy seems to consist of making the country safe from transvestites.
Don't forget trade wars, protectionism and industrial policy. All things Biden is doing now, but it's different when they do it.
The difference being you will criticize them for it?
Republicans do it with a great purity of heart and love for the real Americans out there.
Hey. Mike is projecting. As him and sarc always excuse democrats authoritarian acts based on good intentions.
When people criticized Trump’s trade war they were accused of TDS. If the accusers had any integrity or intellectual honesty they’d be accusing critics of Biden’s continuation of these very same policies of TDS.
Actually criticizing the trade wars was legitimate, whether you agreed with it or not. Sad you still don’t (won’t) understand what constitutes TDS.
When people criticized Trump’s trade war they were accused of TDS.
Yeah, it wasn’t criticism of his trade war that got one accused of TDS.
That's a bunch of bull.
For example people in the comments lost their minds over articles by Veronique De Rugy that criticized Trump's policies, calling her all kinds of vile names and accusing her of mental illness.
Now that she's saying the same things about Biden's continuation of Trump's policies, there's nothing but crickets in the comments.
The obvious conclusion from that is that those making accusations of TDS supported the man, not the policies. As in a cult of personality.
The level of Trump sycophancy in the Reason comment boards is just beyond startling at this point.
More than that, it's kinda scary. Leaders with that kind of a following tend to become dictators, and I've seen more than one person on this board say they'd accept dictatorship if he was at the helm. It's like they want a penis shaped potato steering an ocean liner.
Dick-tater-ship, get it? Ha ha!
You've been hanging around Shrike too much.
Yes. Defending against weaponization of the DoJ is sycophantic behaviors. Do you know why you get looped in with sarc and Mike so often?
I get looped in with them because you and so many else have an impressive allegiance to Trump and anyone who doesn't hold the same allegiance is immediately labeled a "TDS addled shit" as Sevo likes to say or is otherwise accused of being some form of a sock.
It doesn't matter that I disagree with Mike, sarc, and Jeff more often than you and people on your side of the aisle. Nope, I'm not fully allegiant enough, therefore I must be a Biden fan or commie leftist who Nardz wants to hang from a tree. I make fun of sarc for his constant trolling schtick, but there's a lot of truth behind it.
In the end, it's tired. It's superficial. And it lacks so much nuance as to be comical at this point.
Sure, what gets one accused of TDS is being a fairly normal person who can perceive that Trump is a reprehensible person, that “mean tweets” are childish behavior unbecoming of the chief executive of the United States, that he is a grifter and never lifted a finger to drain any swamp, and he is not a modern day King Cyrus.
Heck, simply saying "it sure looks like Trump lost the election" gets you labeled as Biden regime loving, TDS patient.
Simply claiming the law should be applied equally and there shouldn't be any vindictive witch hunts get you labeled as a "cultist" even if you never voted for the guy, or didn't vote for him the first time around.
That's definitely wrong, too. Problem is most of the commenting here is basically yelling at each other that the other person is some sort of deranged extremist tribal simpleton. It's honestly just depressing anymore. I really used to enjoy the commentary here.
We all know IS is the one true centrist. Just like Mike and Sarc. Weird how you all have this delusion.
Thanks for providing an example for me, JesseAZ.
Problem is most of the commenting here is basically yelling at each other that the other person is some sort of deranged extremist tribal simpleton.
The mute feature is very helpful in that regard. Some people will try to suck you into a conversation by pretending to be honest, but before long they start to throw in these false premises. You can either let them slide or refute them as they come. If you don’t refute them then you’re accused of accepting them, and if you do you’re accused of being a liar.
Conversations with such people is like Charlie Brown thinking Lucy is going to let him kick the ball. It always ends the same.
Best to mute the fuckheads and not be tempted to get sucked in.
I hate using mute. Only the psycho SQRSLY and mad.casual have caused me to implement it. At this point, I'm trying to decide if I implement it more, or just give up with the comments here.
Stop calling Mike and Sarc out for their obvious TDS. BUT listen when they call you MAGA or a cultist.
So NOT good intentions... noted.
Putting words in my mouth in the service of feeding the Republican victimhood narrative. My sarcastic remark was only to imply that Republicans possess no extraordinary virtues beyond other politicians, not that Republicans are evil.
Once again Mike. Thank you for losing all pretense of being a Democrat.
I'm actually agreeing with you. Because I'm a little tired of watching devastation throughout the land, where one side keeps getting the "good intentions" moniker, and the other is always literally worse than Hitler.
Yes, both sides in the stupid Red vs. Blue Team culture and partisan war concentrate on talking about how evil the other team is, rather than solving any problems or improving their own team.
Meanwhile, most of us Americans aren't even on either of the teams. We are just watching them act like assholes from the sidelines.
This guy doesn't talk like your average, divisive candidates.
https://twitter.com/TuckerCarlson/status/1692282708397863374
I have to admit I haven't paid much attention to him, since he doesn't seem likely to move onto the bonus round.
Keep being ignorant. It is your way. Be proud about it.
I'm glad youve finally given up all pretense of not being a Democrat. Even Biden admits to the gop economic plan.
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/biden-take-aim-house-gop-proposals-economic-speech-rcna67640
Youre a good democrat Mike.
They’ll also cut taxes and increase government spending. They do it every time they take the legislature and the executive offices.
They will also cut regulations and expand energy policy. Both drivers of the economy. The opposite of dems.
And neither party dares to touch Medicare or Social Security.
Wonder why. Let me link to dems and media ads saying cuts will kill grandma. See the proposal you and your team castigated Paul Ryan for.
While I don’t agree Biden has a good story, I do agree that the Republicans only plan for rescuing the economy seems to consist of making the country safe from transvestites.
Instead of providing a remedy for this bout of transitory inflation the GOP prefers to focus on transitory trannie dancing.
Is it all about trannie dancing for you? If so, then you may need to seek psychological help and medication for you condition, Shrike.
Please link me to the HOUSE bill that reduces inflation.
McCarthy and crowd don't have one.
And Joe finally admitted he didn't either.
turd, the ass-clown of the commentariat, lies; it’s all he ever does. turd is a kiddie diddler, and a pathological liar, entirely too stupid to remember which lies he posted even minutes ago, and also too stupid to understand we all know he’s a liar.

turd lies; it’s what he does. turd is a lying pile of lefty shit and a TDS-addled asshole.
It's not my fault you have a fixation on trannie dancing, dingbat.
His obsession with penis ranges from trannies, to Hunter Biden, to little boys.
They voted no against Bidens and Dems last spend plan didnt they?
turd lies when he knows he’s lying. turd lies when we know he’s lying. turd lies when he knows that we know he’s lying.
turd lies. turd is a TDS-addled lying pile of lefty shit and a pederast besides.
This post made me almost forget everything I buy in a given week is considerably more expensive than it was a few years ago.
When you are as old as me you will realize that prices generally rise, especially over years. The question is the amount of rise. Most economist don't look for no inflation, they look for inflation under 2%.
Depends on much much the Fed tries to prop up stupid government policies, right?
Hahahahahahahahahaha
""President Biden brought the country back from the pandemic recession. ""
The country would have came back from the pandemic if Mickey Mouse was president.
The country would have come back _faster_ if Mickey Mouse was President.
Politicians do not and cannot improve the economy, they can only mess it up less - but every Democrat since Bill Clinton has instead been dedicated to harming the economy more. So have half the Republicans.
Welcome to the transinflationary economy. The fiat money identifies as gold backed currency.
CNBC:
The Covid-19 recession is in the books as one of the deepest — but also the shortest — in U.S. history, the official documenter of economic cycles said Monday.
According to the National Bureau of Economic Research, the contraction lasted just two months, from February 2020 to the following April.
Just WTF did Biden have to do with it?
Well we had three years of peace and prosperity under the last Republican president and we've had nothing but war and inflation under the current regime. Maybe not everybody's memory is as short as yours.
It's fucking amazing to me that 42% think Biden is doing a good job.
Who the hell are these people?
"More than half of Democrats surveyed—55 percent—do not want to see Biden run again, though 82 percent said they would support him if he does."
JFC.
M4e. He just posted.
Likely people who are currently employed in comfortable upper middle class jobs, and live among similar families.
The same people who "voted" for Biden.
“Voted” in scare quotes meaning precisely what?
Did they actually vote for Biden? It's hard to tell with the mules collecting ballots and stuffing them in the dropboxes, and the 3am and 4am ballot drops for counting at county courthouses, all under no outside supervision whatsoever.
Meaning the election fraud perpetrated on the American people by the DNC and supported by shills like you. Is that precise enough for you?
Yet the evidence of fraud is like Paul Reuben’s penis. Doesn’t stand up in court.
Apparently that penis stood up well enough in a porno theater at one time.
Might want to try harder (no pun intended) for your similes.
I’m easily over a dozen times posting this now, still without a single acknowledgment by the lefties here, but I’ll try again:
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/judge-rules-michigan-sec-state-broke-law-absentee-ballot
And then there's the Muskegon fraud that we're just finding out about and Wayne county kicking out observers and taping pizza boxes to the windows.
Ironic how you think cops operate above the law, but the rest of the system is without reproach.
Evidence of fraud was provided, and you leftists simply declared "it wasn't widespread".
My disdain for the police has nothing to do with court cases being thrown out. You should rewatch some of those “One of these things is not like the other” programs for little children.
While you’re at it, look up what “leftist” means. You’ll find it doesn’t mean “anyone who doesn’t think the election was stolen.”
You trying to win a prize from your troll buddies for putting words into my mouth?
Fucking ass.
Stupid posts like yours are why ML, JA and RC are on mute. They're nothing but false premises, statements of ignorance, and lies.
Why do you look to them as role models?
You have been given multiple court cases regarding illegal election changes shit for brains.
My disdain for the police has nothing to do with court cases being thrown out. You should rewatch some of those “One of these things is not like the other” programs for little children.
How convenient.
Do you view all court cases as perfect without any corruption, or just cases that rule against Trump?
Every single case has been thrown out. Every. Single. One. Either every court and judge in the country is organized against him, or he's a sore loser grasping at straws. I choose door number two.
This is false. I have given you the evidence a few dozen fucking times. Youre just retarded.
At this point it's just not plausible that the election was stolen by fraud. Some hard evidence would have been found by now. One smoking gun. Just one. One court would have ruled in his favor. Just one. Instead there's nothing.
And this is just retarded trust in institutions from a dem leaning neocon.
No, it is not precise enough. Where is any proof?
It never is for you. You're like a YEC, always asking for the "missing link" between fossils. When another fossil is found, you then claim there's now two "missing links".
Define "proof".
All proof provided has been dismissed by the DNC shills. Same way you and your ilk dismissed anyone who questioned covid protocols and vax effectivity. Just because you have the establishment and the MSM in your corner, doesn't mean you are right. The fact that you automatically side with the narrative means you lack all credibility.
What a copout, going for the ad hominem instead of answering.
Come on, give your best case of fraud that affected the outcome of the the 2020 presidential election, along with cites of the proof of that fraud. Please be specific about where it occurred and what occurred.
Have you read this?

Careful now, actually posting real sources and citations will get you muted by Laursen so he can maintain his twisted and disingenuous worldview.
Never been asked about it before.
If anything that would have benefited Trump since he urged his followers to vote in person. So if absentee ballots were tossed, and there were more absentee votes for Biden than Trump since Trump voters voted in person, then statistically more Biden ballots would have been rejected.
If I understand correctly, her guidance would have resulted in more absentee ballots being accepted.
I see this latest gotcha as more grasping at straws. Rules were changed by Democrats, therefore Trump ballots were rejected. Ok, how? They would have to have been opened first, but that’s not how it works. The signature is on the envelope. If they reject a ballot, they reject the unopened envelope. Then when they are counted they're all opened up and fed into voting machines.
You have been given multiple examples of Trump telling crowds to vote by mail. He voted by mail.
You have been given multiple examples of dem senators questioning vote by mail and voting machines.
Yet you persist being retarded.
https://www.freep.com/story/news/politics/elections/2022/09/16/jocelyn-benson-secretary-of-state-michigan-gop/68156592007/
“Some Republicans have suggested that that guidance amounted to eliminating the signature verification requirement altogether. But elections offices still verified signatures on absentee ballots before counting them. And clerks across Michigan collectively rejected 1,400 absentee ballots in the 2020 election because the voter’s signature did not match the one on file. Michigan was on par with the national rejection rate for absentee ballots — around 1% — in 2020.”
So, sounds like the guidance was just that, guidance, but it was up to individual election officers to set their own standards of signature verification — and they didn’t just abandon signature verification.
The implication is that the ballots were rejected after they were opened, not before. How else could the rule change adversely effect Trump?

State Senate Republicans who investigated Michigan’s 2020 presidential election for months concluded there was no widespread or systemic fraud and urged the state attorney general to consider probing people who have made baseless allegations about the results in Antrim County to raise money or publicity “for their own ends.”
Either no evidence was found, or Michigan Republicans are part of The Conspiracy.
Caw caw!
Most of them spent fours year living under the Trump administration. It not hard to do better than that previous administration.
And yet, Biden has found a way to do much worse.
I appreciate that you’ve finally embraced your Democraticness.
More than half of Democrats surveyed—55 percent—do not want to see Biden run again, though 82 percent said they would support him if he does.
That 82% is the death knell. Who else are the 18% gonna vote for?
No Labels. Why democrats are suing to keep them off ballots.
That likely depends on those running against him. The 18% may not vote for Biden, but like in 2020, they may vote against Trump.
Those poll results show that the D aren’t going to get much of an anti Trump vote this time round. The reason for Biden disapproval re running again is not political. They are Dems. It’s that he’s too old and yet he’s hanging on to power with his cold demented hands. The D are, once again, not handing over to the next generation. Younger D ain’t gonna get out the vote for him and that's the age group that does that grunt work.
Libertarian Cato:
Trump’s Toast, Folks
.
1. Trump’s disdain for truth. America has seen its fair share of lying politicians, but Donald Trump is in a class of his own. He appears to view literally any interaction with another human being as an opportunity to be exploited and a game to be won. In Trump’s world, rules are for chumps, norms are for losers, and the truth is whatever you can get another person to believe— nothing more. And of course, history makes clear that this approach has been quite effective at advancing Trump’s interests in certain settings—preening on the set of a game show, for example, or spinning up a fawning, frothing crowd at a campaign event.

Calling Donnie an " inveterate liar" is an understatement of some proportion given the Big Lie that Donnie still foists on the public daily.
Cato speaks clearly.
Can I ask you to at least post new articles? Right now it's just copy repeat barf.
Shrike is a one-trick jackass.
New Act Blue talking points are delayed.
CATO is just baking the cake.
Dit… dit… dit… signal sent.
Why, are you sending out a signal to your overlords somewhere, Mike?
And using Morse code?
Look out Diane, I think Mike is sending a message to his betters. You're in trouble now!
You know what’s fucking hilarious? That you all think any of us post against reason or Cato or you because we’re looking for validation from other commenters and not just expressing our own opinions and quips.
But heaven forfend anyone collectivize you all.

"Norms are for losers?"
CATO, what exactly have the Dems been doing?
Spending money without Congressional approval?
Trying to imprison the LEGAL COUNSEL of their chief political rival?
Trump has shown what so many people and groups really are.
It's cute (and a little pathetic) how much blind and mindless faith you place in the integrity of our politicians.
"In contrast, Trump's presidential run has relatively strong support among Republicans, even after several criminal indictments."
Can you imagine the white hot rage at the Laursen household upon reading that?
strong support among Republicans
Just say "cult". We all know what you meant.
Says the Biden/Soros cultist. Lol.
"iT's A cULt!"
Yes, because they're the ones double masking and cutting off little boys peckers.

LOL!
A dementia-riddled racist grandpa got more votes than Barack Obama. Cult-behavior indeed.
Are you referring to the 2020 presidential election. There were more voters across the board, and you are smart enough to know that.
And yet, you are so obtuse, you miss the point again, Laursen.
That there was a fantastic example of point-missing, I must say.
Sure, you are always such a clear communicator.
Spoken by the king of obfuscation himself.

Never change demshill.
The "far right" crappola is getting passe.
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/far-right-bit-getting-old
A great new country music song comes out, by a completely unknown performer, and takes the #1 spot in charts. The mainstream press decries the artist and song as “far-right.”
An exciting movie based on a true story of child trafficking blasts forward to earn more than the expected blockbuster. The mainstream press denounces the film as “far-right.”
An insurgent campaign in Argentina by an economist rocks the election primaries. The candidate wants to crush the central bank and level state bureaucracies that interfere with freedom. The press universally decries him as “far-right.”
You get the message? Anything that rocks the boat these days is called “far-right. The point of the phrase is to recall Mussolini, Franco, Hitler, maybe even Torquemada and Attila the Hun, and conjures up images of shock troops, black boots, goose stepping, and the darkest forms of intolerance and coercion.
It’s all rather strange because each of the above is not about any of that. They are about the opposite. They are calling for ending oppression, curbing government, revealing the truth behind official lies, draining the swamp, ending corruption, and restoring freedom and dignity to the people against the elites.
When everything is far-right nothing is.
It is a lazy way to say populism.
Populist demagogues like Fatass Donnie and Bernie Sanders attack elites, bankers, central banks and free trade as the boogeyman that is destroying some hicks life in Appalachia.
Because, you know, uneducated hicks in West Virginny should all live in 5000 sq ft houses and drive Hummers.
That insipid little country song is all about empty headed populism.
Remember that turd, the ass-clown of the commentariat, lies; it’s all he ever does. turd is a kiddie diddler, and a pathological liar, entirely too stupid to remember which lies he posted even minutes ago, and also too stupid to understand we all know he’s a liar.
If anything he posts isn’t a lie, it’s totally accidental.
turd lies; it’s what he does. turd is a lying pile of lefty shit.
Don’t pretend you don’t throw “far-right” at everything as a cheap slur, Pluggo.
I remember when I challenged you to define what far-right was, and it was amusing to see that according to your own definition you’re far-right.
They are calling for ending oppression, curbing government, revealing the truth behind official lies, draining the swamp, ending corruption, and restoring freedom and dignity to the people against the elites.
Right, Far-right
“The mainstream press decries the artist and song as “far-right.” The mainstream press denounces the film as “far-right.” The press universally decries him as “far-right.””
When the mainstream press is as left as they currently are, even the start of what could be mildly considered “right wing” is far, far in the distance.
Where “mainstream” is conveniently defined to exclude successful conservatives News outlets, such as Fox.
The victimhood narrative must be nurtured. Never mind that any conservative in this country can get all the conservative-biased news they can consume.
When you take into consideration that about 60% of financial journalists consider themselves "liberal" or "left wing", and only less than 5% claim to be "right of center", you start to get the picture that for the media, "mainstream" is most definitely left of center. Oh, and this is for financial journalists. The numbers are more skewed for your typical journalist.
https://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/media-bias-left-study/
What they found surprised them. Even the supposedly hard-nosed financial reporters were overwhelmingly liberal. Of the 462 people surveyed, 17.63% called themselves "very liberal," while 40.84% described themselves as "somewhat liberal."
What about the mythic "conservative" financial journalist? In fact, a mere 0.46% of financial journalists called themselves "very conservative," while just 3.94% said they were "somewhat conservative." That's a whopping 4.4% of the total that lean right-of-center.
This is an enormous problem for the media — perhaps bigger than they realize. A Rasmussen Reports survey in late October [2018] found that 45% of all likely voters in the midterm elections believed "that when most reporters write about a congressional race, they are trying to help the Democratic candidate."
A post-election survey of 1,000 voters by McLaughlin & Associates found that "a forceful plurality (48%) of respondents believe the media coverage is unfair and biased" against President Trump. Even 16% of Democrats agreed.
So take your bullshit, Mike, and blow it out your ass.
Apparently Latinos don't like Joe.
https://www.thecentersquare.com/national/article_64578e66-3c4b-11ee-a491-df449e77c434.html
Former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden with Hispanic voters in a potential general election faceoff.
The Center Square Voters’ Voice Poll, conducted in conjunction with Noble Predictive Insights, found that Trump, frontrunner by far in the GOP primary despite facing dozens of felony charges from four criminal investigations, leads Biden by five points with Hispanic voters.
The same poll found Trump's support among Hispanics outpaces his support overall in the primary. The survey found that Trump has 62% support among Hispanics in the GOP primary field. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has 17% support among Hispanics in the Republican primary.
Biden has 67% support from Black voters compared to 10% support for Trump. Trump, though, does not need to match Biden's support in this category to beat him, only erode it enough to narrow the gap in some key swing states.
Among women, 48% support Biden, 37% support Trump and 14% are unsure. Among men, 45% support Trump, 39% support Biden, and 16% are unsure.
The Democrats are rapidly alienating their former base but I don't think they really care. Their primary concern is not who's voting. It's who's counting the votes.
The Chicago Way gone national. They don't want nobody nobody sent to count the votes.
https://chicago.suntimes.com/2016/7/10/18336399/andy-shaw-quotes-worth-sharing-from-abner-mikva
“It was 1948 and I had just to come to Chicago from Wisconsin for law school. Adlai Stevenson was running for governor and Paul Douglas was running for senator, so I stopped in at the 8th Ward Democratic headquarters and said, ‘Hi, I’m Abner Mikva, and I’d like to volunteer.’ The quintessential ward committeeman took the cigar out of his mouth, leered at me, and said, ‘Who sent you, kid?’ I said, ‘Well, nobody sent me.’ He put the cigar back in and said, ‘We don’t want nobody nobody sent.’ And that was the beginning of my political career in Chicago.”
I like how the usual democrats parading as libertarians here can't show any criticism for democrats or Biden so they rush in to try to attack the GOP and throw shit instead.
Liar. You missed my call for Biden to step down and retire.
Joe needs to sit in a chair instead of run for POTUS.
Telling an old, old, old man to retire isn’t criticizing his evil policies by any measure, shillbot.
What do you expect? turd lies; it's what turd does
You defend Biden here every day jeff. Lol.
You have a cite for your comments claiming that? Typically, your position is #DefendBidenAtAllCosts.
Once every 100 posts he throws in a comment that Biden is bad (very weakly like calling him old). The other 99 are defending him.

So I watched Vivek Ramaswamy on Tucker Carlson’s twitter show yesterday and he was really good. So was JFK Jr. the week before. Both are excellent candidates.
Both are also better than Trump.
I won’t shed a tear if the great orange one takes the presidency again, but I think Ramaswamy and Kennedy would both be more effective than Trump at what should be America’s number one priority. Dismantling the deep state and eliminating the DHS, FBI and CIA, or at least severely curtailing their powers.
I wish DeSantis would hit a few podcasts so we could hear more about his positions. I like that he kicked back against the mandates and the sex cult, but that’s almost everything I know about him. And the support he gets from the Bushes and neocons worries me.
Been for Vivek for a couple of months. Surprised reason is ignoring him.
Oh wait they attacked him.
https://reason.com/video/2023/05/05/vivek-ramaswamy-is-wrong-about-the-national-debt/
And JFK Jr. Many times.
Rich Uncle Charles has turned Reason into a stable of libertarians for big government.
Gentlemen, I believe JFK Jr. has been dead for some time now.
Maybe you mean RFK Jr.
Lol, yes.
I do that way too often. No clue why.
he was so dreamy.
You got to admit it though, JFK's corpse would do a better job than the two front runners for 2024.
Until he opens his mouth and voices opinions that were non-controversial liberal positions in the early Sixties.
Yeah, he’d probably be branded and alt-right nationalist…
What opinions were those? There wasn't a dime's worth of difference between JFK and Nixon. If JFK was alive today he would be reviled by your team as a far right lunatic and worse than Hitler.
Not libertarians, "liberteens".
I saw Vivek touting his 12% across the board flat tax. It was really stupid. Smacked of Spermin' Herman's 9-9-9 bullshit.
Just get real. No one is slashing taxes with $32 trillion of national debt.
Just get real. No one is slashing taxes with $32 trillion of national debt.
And cutting expenses is off the table, so here we are.
What was stupid about a 12% flat tax, Jeffplug? Explain your talking-point.
Rich Uncle George won't find it as easy to cheat?
I don't like a flat tax either, but could I *checks Reason bylines* reluctantly vote for him? Probably.
I'm not a big flat tax person either, a progressive tax is honestly fairer if structured right. I'm including sneaky flat taxes such as sales and gas taxes in that category as they invariable hurt the lower and middle classes more as a percentage of actual discretionary income compared to upper and elite classes.
The only really fair tax would be for every adult to pay the same dollar amount. Want to spend 6 trillion a year, in a country with 300 million adults? That's 20 thousand each, every year.
A tax plan like that would give people an incentive to vote against spending more.
To cut down a debt like that, it'll require slashing spending.
Sigh, it is not about taxe rates it is about revenue. Higher taxe rates =/= higher revenue.
Soros makes too much money from government contracts to cut spending.
turd, the ass-clown of the commentariat, lies; it’s all he ever does. turd is a kiddie diddler, and a pathological liar, entirely too stupid to remember which lies he posted even minutes ago, and also too stupid to understand we all know he’s a liar.

LIBERTARTIANISM~!
Love how untold millions of illegals are not a reason to secure the border --- but a debt is reason to not cut taxes, spending, and regulation...
Fuck you, cut spending.
Yeah, the flat tax is a good idea, but it would have to be around 35% these days. (23T GDP - 6T federal spending) = 17T, and 6T/17T = 0.35.
RFKjr is an anti-Semitic conspiracy nut. Unsurprising who likes him here, therefore
Cite, Diet Jeff?
Did he help the Nazis like your God Soros did?
Americans Aren't Buying 'Bidenomics'

Reminder. Your talking point is no “widespread” fraud. Not no fraud. Funny how you guys always slip back to the no fraud narrative.
2nd reminder. This is not the totality of fraud. Just like the number of Jay walking tickets given out isnt conclusive of all Jay walkers. Even though the article attempts that assertion. Another talking point from dems you love to use.
these shills on put on an attitude like it's some kind of moral act to believe in the absolute integrity and probity of every election result... when it is their guy. amazing
You've never been to Chicago, have you?
somewhere exists a list of the dead who voted and Mike wants it ...
So there’s no list? So, it’s an article of MAGA faith, then?
There is a citation you conveniently ignore 4 posts up.
find Edgar Neubauer and you'll find the truth
So, you’ve got nuthin.
Like this, Laursen? It's not a myth.
https://www.cbsnews.com/chicago/news/2-investigators-chicago-voters-cast-ballots-from-beyond-the-grave/
Susie Sallee was buried in 1998. Yet records show she voted in Chicago 12 years later.
Victor Crosswell died in 1994, but records show he's voted six times since then.
And then there's Floyd Stevens. Records show he's voted 11 times since his death in 1993.
Take Tadeusz Ciesla. Records show he voted in 2010. But his nephew Marek Ciesla says that's impossible because he died in 1998.
Earl Smith says he reported the 1997 death of his father, also named Earl Smith. But records indicate his father has voted twice after he died.
Robert Sallee says he tried to do that by reporting his mother's death multiple times. "They're just not taking her off the rolls," he says.
I'm funny and you don't even get how you're a good straight man. I'll run with it forever. did you even look up Edgar Neubauer?
It’s a Simpsons reference.
It was also an evasion of deflecting from your having no proof of dead people voting.
If you didn't have me on mute because you love reveling in your ignorance, Laursen, you'd have seen evidence.
Minimum wage is $30/hr?! (Also, that has to rub our resident fifty centers the wrong way; Uber drivers getting 51 cents.)
Lol.
Math is racist.

Here's a clip of how M. Kaleo Manuel, the Obama leader who delayed water for five crucial hours.
Manuel claims "water requires true conversations about equity".
especially when children are on fire.
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/hawaii-official-blasted-blamed-for-delayed-response
M. Kaleo Manuel is the Department of Land and Natural Resource's deputy director for water resource management. When the Honolulu Civil Beat published a story citing sources that alleged Manuel procrastinated in sending water to the affected island, people took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to put Manuel on blast even more.
"Meet M. Kaleo Manuel, the official who refused to release water in Maui, contributing to up to 106 deaths," Jeremy Kauffman wrote on X, citing the original article. "A Hawaiian Studies major, Kaleo prefers a traditional, holistic 'One Water' approach where water is revered, not used. Water requires 'true conversations about equity.'"
"Native Hawaiians treated water as one of the earthly manifestations of a god," Manuel said in the video. "We've become used to looking at water as something that we use and not something that we revere. ... We can reconnect to that traditional value set."
"Now we’re learning that the official who delayed the approval is an Obama Foundation 'Asia Pacific Leader' and a climate activist who believes water should be 'revered' first and foremost," GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy wrote. "The DEI agenda is literally costing people their lives. Hawaii’s Democratic governor, Josh Green, said there are people “fighting against the release of water to fight fires” & that it needs to be explored further. The No. 1 responsibility of government is to protect its citizens. The victims and their families deserve the TRUTH."
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre encouraged the investigation into the Maui wildfires during a television interview Thursday. Jean-Pierre promised viewers the White House has committed to "get to the bottom of what happened here and understand what happened."
Like they get to the bottom of everything else?

Droolin' Joe, the scumbag who keeps on giving us the finger!
Feds paid $300,000 to study why white, male physicists don’t fight racism, sexism in STEM
They added that what they found was “these men, despite professing pro-equity beliefs, pervasively engage in patterns of thought, speech and action that work to uphold white and male supremacy in physics while justifying their own personal inaction.”
Thought crimes. White males are never culty enough.
work to uphold white and male supremacy in physics
Like using math and insisting there is only one correct answer.
The problem isn't that a couple of education majors came up with a stupid study, education is where people who can't hack a real degree end up. The problem is that it is that editors of a journal that is supposedly committed to STEM education publishing this as a "study".
The "researchers" interviewed 27 white men having boldly stated their intention to analyze their answers in a completely biased manner. It isn't science. It isn't a study. It isn't even a good story. As long as this kind of garbage can get funding and get published, there is no hope for education.
34 trillion in debt but I have to fund this bullshit study.
It's been established that math is racist. Also showing up on time. Physics requires the former and undoubtedly some of these individuals have indulged in the latter. Physics is racist almost by definition.
Because they're physicists?
And physics has a superficial rule of colorblindness, much like the 14th Amendment according to Justice Sotomayor?
Oh, well would you look at this.
Judge formally dismisses tax charges against Hunter Biden
I guess this will free up more legal resources to pursue Trump for reporting on the “wrong” line and paying too much tax.
Weiss asked for it.
Allegedly to pursue bigger charges.
I'll buy THAT when I see it.
It was so they could move the trial to California.
Dismissal without prejudice. Meaning, potentially, the government can re-charge, or file bigger charges pertaining to the same act. It would be too late to amend the charges to stack bigger charges onto the same act onto the existing indictment; you have to charge everything pertaining to the same act all at once.
Now, this could simply be forum shopping by Weiss, depending what his actual goals are. Or perhaps now that he's acting as a Special Prosecutor, he's got sufficient independence that he's going to actually try this case normally. I don't know enough about the guy to know what he's trying to do.
Well he's a swamp dweller who's already demonstrated his intention give Hunter a get out of jail free card. But I don't see that the judge really has much discretion under the circumstances.
"Idaho cannot enforce its ban on transgender girls playing on female sports teams. Constitution's 14th Amendment," reports NBC News.""
Seems to undeniably violate Title IX.
The Ninth Circus is always wrong.
this time seems even stupider than most.
This is fun.
This AP poll has a sample consisting of 44% Democrats and 36% Republicans, including leaners, and Biden still only gets a 42% approval rating.
FOLLOWUP
Kansas newspaper raid updates: The judge who signed a warrant for a police raid on a Marion County, Kansas, newspaper now faces scrutiny over previous drunk-driving convictions. Police have returned reporters' cell phones and computers. And the Kansas Bureau of Investigation is now involved.
The fuck? Who would've guess Marion County, KS was Reason's not-to-local Red State G-spot? The more Reason reports on this, the funnier it gets.
The delicious irony of NPR, who have done numerous stories about the unfairness of using people's old criminal records against them, are dragging out a conviction for DUI in 2012 against the judge. The lefties have no morals.
If not for double standards, what standards would they have?
They mean well!
lol bloodhound gang & their casio.
We already have more reporting per capita on this kerfuffle than we did on Anthony Fauci running a no-shit verified psy-op against Jay Bhattacharya.
I'll place bets that the, "36 percent of those surveyed said Biden is doing a good job handling the economy." are leaches.
Otherwise they'd go start a cult and leave the rest of us alone.
Stats show that college-educated high-income voters are Democrats. Are you really stupid enough to characterize Google execs, Buffett, Benioff, Gates, Soros, and our top capitalists as leeches?
Yeah, you are that stupid. I've seen your other posts.
Are they teaching armed-theft in Commie-Education these days????
Yeah; I think so. The smartest criminal of them all.
Go join your cult and LEAVE the rest of us ALONE!!!
What other reason could you possibly have in harassing the rest of us?
Plus; What was that again about student loan cancellation?
Your 'high-income' smart people cannot even get out of school before become leaches.
"Soros, and our top capitalists as leeches?"
You mean the leech responsible for precipitating "Black Wednesday" in the U.K., starting a run on the pound and trying to break the Bank of England... isn't a leech?
He's the fucking definition of a leech.
It would be a tragedy if he and his son were to die in a fiery accident.
And it wasn't caught on film.
It's you nutjobs who complain about central banks debasing currencies.
Soros actually did something though. He shorted the overvalued British Pound sterling.
Only in your nutjob world is currency speculation evil. You sound like an idiot Prog.
Kind of like how the Federal Reserve (Democrats) bill launched the Great Depression… I swear you leftards love economic destruction. Your party couldn’t be better at it if they had the worlds biggest bulldozer.
Course that is the leftards dream isn’t it. Biden’s biggest complaint about Trump was that he didn’t use the full force of the military to bulldoze “moral authority” enough. Right there in the same speech he told the world the left has the biggest election fraud organization in American history.
I do believe that speech was one of but only a few one's Biden himself had to say what he believed without the Nazi-Propagandists writing in their deceitful tactics for him.
You sound like an idiot Prog.
Better than a corporatist suckhole pretending deliberate economic destruction and collusion is somehow magically the hidden hand of the free market.
Many of them yes.
Also, people demanding welders pay for their college education are almost universally Democrat.

Are you really stupid enough to think they aren't thieves (another kind of leech)?
Don't bother answering; we know the answer.
Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit against the CIA for all communications of the spy agency’s Prepublication Classification Review Board (PCRB) regarding an October 19, 2020 email request.
The email request was to review and “clear” a letter signed by 51 former intelligence community officials characterizing the Hunter Biden laptop story as having “all the earmarks of a Russian disinformation campaign”

Did the CIA work to rig the 2020 election?
Not steal. But rig as in distorting the political landscape.
A “rigged” election is not the same thing as a stolen election; stealing requires changing votes. “Rigging” is about changing the rules, the information landscape, or other factors that can influence voters using illegitimate means. Spreading misinformation can be a form of rigging, as of course censorship or “debunking” of true information.
I couldn’t say if the 2020 election was stolen–there certainly were irregularities as there always are in elections–because any vote changes or illegal ballots have to be in the right place in the right numbers, and no evidence has been accepted by courts indicating that enough illegal votes to change the results were cast.
But certainly, the election was rigged. Lots of illegal changes to election laws were made without legislative approval, Big Tech censored conservatives based on phony claims, and the media colluded with outside groups to distort the truth or deny facts.
Among the riggers was the CIA, apparently. Not just former CIA agents, about which we already knew, but the CIA as an organization...
The link didn't come through, ML.
Thanks.
Here it is.
Thanks. For the "deep state" (for lack of a better term), this is all too true:
A totally corrupt government under a Democrat is far superior to an honest one run by a Republican.
Hence why the push for Hillary Clinton, and then Joe Biden, both as corrupt as hell.
I have a suspicion that the Ukrainian/Russian war was in the works prior to 2016.
Had Hillary got in what's going on now would have been initiated after her inauguration. Trump get in and throws a huge monkey wrench in their plans., How else to explain the Russian collusion dossier dump hampering anything Trump could do or the sheer panic that was set off by Trump asking about Biden's adventures in Ukraine? Why were all these Ukrainians, like the fatass Vindman brothers and others in positions of authority in DC?

Did the CIA work to rig the 2020 election?
This seems like as good a place as any to bring this up; remember the vague thread of the Discord chat from the reserve airmen that kinda-sorta suggested the CIA and/or DOD knew Ukraine had a plan to blow up NS1 and 2? Yeah… Dutch intelligence warned CIA about alleged Ukrainian plot to attack Nord Stream pipelines, Netherlands’ public broadcaster reports.
So, undisputed/agreed or irrefutable/independently verified facts:
– NS1 and 2 were intentionally ‘sploded from the outside.
– Said ‘splosions escalated conflict between NATO/Ukraine and Russia.
– DOD/CIA knew ahead of time, down to the (current) General’s name who created the plan, that the Ukraine had plans to ‘splode NS1 and 2.
– We’ve knowingly dumped billions in weapons and aid into aiding a country that, even if they didn’t perpetrate an act of war against NATO, was actively planning such attacks.
Again, "I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I'm a 'This shit doesn't add up and it's obvious.' theorist."
>>'This shit doesn’t add up and it’s obvious.’ theorist.
word.
Occam's razor applies here.
The CIA has tried to rig every election outside of the US for the last 50 years.
Did they ever try to rig one within the US? Occam's Razor says yes. Perhaps all of them.
I don't think they really had to rig any in the US until recently. Since at least WW2 both parties have been wedded to the growing bureaucracy, the squabbling over other things is just to distract the masses.
Welfare State & Federal Politics = Bread & Circuses
OMG, stop fighting Kulturwarhurrdrr conservatives. It's only about baffrooms, why are you so obsessed with baffrooms?!!
Commie-Education (Commie or Socialist anything) is the very foundation of “culture-wars” and a divided society because it’s one size of pants for everyone to fight over.
I miss the USA when guns were only used to ensure Liberty and Justice for all.
Sad groomer cries when confronted with the possibility we will resume punishing groomers.
Bidenomics? You mean that system where you pour massive amounts of free money into the pockets of fraudsters, tidal wave the debt, pump up inflation, and wreck our credit rating? I like anything with the name Biden in it. Remember, "If it says, 'painful, rectal itch', you know it has to be good". Crack Boy is really dreamy too.
The Democrats Are Using Criminal Law to Fight Their Political Battles. It's Very, Very Dangerous
Trump's post-election lawyers' misguided strategy to create alternate slates of electors and the legal advice supporting it were based on two historical events: the 1876 Electoral College drama between Rutherford B. Hayes (R) and Samuel J. Tilden (D), and the 1960 presidential election drama in Hawaii between Richard M. Nixon (R) and John F. Kennedy (D). In 1876, Tilden won the popular vote and 184 electoral votes, but Republicans challenged the election results in Florida, Louisiana, and South Carolina, because, they claimed, the Democrats engaged in election fraud and intimidated Black voters. Hayes eventually won with 185 electoral votes, but the Democrats had presented alternate slates of electors from Oregon, South Carolina, Florida, Louisiana, and Vermont, knowing that their alternate slates from at uncertified or doubtful. No one was criminally charged, nor should they have been, even though Tilden's nephew, William Tilden Pelton, admitted that he tried to bribe local election officials in Oregon, Florida, and South Carolina.
Similarly, in 1960, Hawaii Democrats challenged Nixon's initial win, signed alternate elector certificates, and sent them to Capitol Hill, even though JFK was not declared to have won Hawaii until later. Again, no one was criminally charged and in fact the judge praised the Democrats for creating and signing an alternate slate.
In fact, on November 4, 2020, while Pennsylvania was still counting votes, Van Jones of CNN and Professor Lawrence Lessig of Harvard Law published a CNN article citing these events and endorsing alternate electors!
Indeed, it's worth noting that after the 2016 election, the Clinton campaign and allied groups such as Unite for America recruited celebrities like Martin Sheen to importune electors not to cast their electoral votes for Trump; electors received death threats, harassing phone calls, and hundreds of thousands of hostile emails.
The Clinton campaign also tried to request an intelligence briefing on foreign election intervention in order to sway the electors with false information; the Clinton team cooked up the phony "Steele Dossier" and knew that it and other claims regarding Trump and Russia were false.
Anyone who thinks that Clinton or her campaign staff—an actual organization or enterprise—should not have been criminally charged, as they were not, must therefore also think long and hard about whether Trump should be.
Democrats should be very careful in what they wish for. This is exactly the type of thing that could, and should, bite them in the ass in the long-term. Alas, they seem focused on the short-term gain of "getting Trump" and holding onto the reins of power at the moment than they do in the long-term consequences of their actions.
They are hoping if they get away with it they will have complete and unquestionable power over the government, and so can avoid any consequences. We are now 95% of the way through a totalitarian takeover of our country. The odds of averting it now are quite slim.
It's been infuriating seeing people attack Trump on that while bluntly ignoring that Clinton did the same and more. "Journalists" who only know the current narrative and forget even the recent past are worthless or corrupt
Of course no one was criminally charged. Alternate electors may be perfectly legal.
Our Constitution does not provide a blueprint for "what to do if the election is fraudulent." Therefore, our Constitution leaves it up to the States to decide what to do.
The only thing unconstitutional about the 2020 election was the violation of our Constitution's one and only guarantee. By accepting a questionable election result without hard proof, Congress violated the Constitutional right of every single citizen and rendered our Federal government illegitimate.
Minneapolis approves minimum wage mandate for Lyft and Uber drivers.
Support for minimum wage is always a good litmus test for *are you a fucking idiot*
Should this proposal become law, Lyft will be forced to cease operations in the City of Minneapolis on its effective date of January 1, 2024,
The taxi cartel in Minneapolis is behind this and they are clicking their heels, I guarantee it.

>>Just 36 percent of those surveyed said Biden is doing a good job handling the economy.
sycophants and retards.
That's far too kind.
>>Only 24 percent of all poll respondents said they want to see him run for president again.
I want to see him run for president again. please let him run for president again.
Why do you want a President Harris?
I don't want another President Obama.
Especially an Obama that can’t even read off a fucking teleprompter. At least Obama knew how to do that. Harris can’t.
comes off like she reads at about a 5th grade level ... but I meant the Obama who probably doesn't dream about fucking men

knuckleheads all the way down.
It isn't stupidity. It's pure malice.
Americans Aren't Buying 'Bidenomics'
Obviously, since we can't fucking afford it.
why
why not?
because
it's inevitable.
Why ask why?
So Donald Trump ceased to be President on January 20, 2021. About a year and 10 months later, he announces he's running for the Presidency again. At the time, he had not been indicted or charged for any crimes.
Four months after announcing his presidential bid, he's indicted for conduct going all the way back to 2016. Nothing about the pattern of facts had changed for years, and there was nothing preventing charges from being brought for the previous nearly two years.
Then he's indicted three more times in the next four months, two of which were from conduct while he was still President of the United States. Nothing happened for nearly two years, but then he runs for President, and he's indicted multiple times within months.
The only charge that has to do with conduct after he left office is the Mar-a-Lago documents, yet all these indictments really dropped in a short period of time, and all well after the conduct that led to the indictments. Pretty much all of the alleged facts had been known for quite a long time.
Seems to be a bit of a pattern here.
The indictments were prepared and ready to go in advance. The man is a walking, talking threat to democracy. We've got to stop him from running for office, or people might vote for him.
"The man is a walking, talking threat to the establishment power of Demunists."
Fixed that for you, Cletus. The end of the Demunist party will herald a new age of American prosperity and happiness.
A new indictment every time new evidence proving Joe took bribes is announced.
“The only charge that has to do with conduct after he left office is the Mar-a-Lago documents,…”
Not even those. His DECISION to take those documents home was made while he was still POTUS. That decision was well within his rights as POTUS, and as Federal Judges and SCOTUS have all agreed, “nobody has any right to second guess those decisions.” That decision rendered those documents personal property and declassified.
It is Constitutionally impossible for any POTUS to be "guilty" of the charges in the Mara Lago case. The only people in real legal jeopardy from those charges are Garland, Reinhart, and their co-conspirators who are all well aware of this fact.

“The judge who signed a warrant for a police raid on a Marion County, Kansas, newspaper”
Many of the worst police abuse problems stem from incompetent and lax “magistrates” – lower level, poorly trained, inadequately supervised “judges” – whose main function seems to be to rubber stamp boilerplate search warrant affidavits without any scrutiny, sworn by corrupt drug warriors who prefer no-knock assaults – frequently at the wrong address – to satisfy their craving for violence. What “magistrate” doesn’t understand that raiding a newspaper in retaliation for uncovering corruption in government might look bad? Unfortunately, even if Judge Laura were to be “disciplined” there are dozens of other incompetent lawyers waiting to take over the position.
9th Circuit rulings get overturned faster and more often than pancakes at an IHOP.
IHOP still exists?
Possibly not by this Scotus. Gorsuck already gave trannies federal protection, Sotomayer, Kagan and Jackson will uphold, they only need one more. That could be Barrett, Roberts or Robert's mini-me, Kavanaugh.
Jackson has made explicitly transphobic comments, I'll be curious to see how she rules on this subject.
How can you be phobic about something that doesn't exist?
Men in womanface are still men, Cletus.

Yeah, he was worried the residents were going to rip his arms off and use them to beat him to death.
But remember, this disaster had nothing to do with political incompetence like this idiot and the 'cultural activist' withholding water. Nope; it was climate change!!!!!

Natural causes save us!
Trump is plus 8 among independents.
He is only minus 12 among non-White voters.
In 2020, while FJB significantly underperformed 2016 Hillary Clinton among non-White voters, he still managed to win them by 50 points.
Think about it.
It seems to dovetail with the poll I posted above from an entirely different source and polling company. I’ll repost it here.
https://www.thecentersquare.com/national/article_64578e66-3c4b-11ee-a491-df449e77c434.html
The Center Square Voters’ Voice Poll, conducted in conjunction with Noble Predictive Insights, found that Trump, frontrunner by far in the GOP primary despite facing dozens of felony charges from four criminal investigations, leads Biden by five points with Hispanic voters.
Bden has 67% support from Black voters compared to 10% support for Trump. Trump, though, does not need to match Biden’s support in this category to beat him, only erode it enough to narrow the gap in some key swing states.
Among women, 48% support Biden, 37% support Trump and 14% are unsure. Among men, 45% support Trump, 39% support Biden, and 16% are unsure.
So, Trump is the logical choice.
In 2022, for the first time in over 30 years more people voted R than D (6 million). Change is coming.
17% of Hispanics and 8% of African Americans polled say they are switching from Xiden to Trump. It's real. Oh, and the recession hasn't even officially started yet.
That right there is enough votes for Trump to win the popular election as well as the Electoral College.
The Biden administration pushed hard this month to convince voters that his initiatives—termed "Bidenomics"—have positively impacted the economy. Americans aren't buying it.
Usually the economy actually has to to improve for people to feel the economy has improved. The topic has been consistently gaslight-proof for decades.
Gas is down to $5.038 a gallon where I am. You're going to tell me the economy hasn't improved?
It's still $4.99/gallon across much of Chicago, if that's any comfort.
Gas prices are now a race to the bottom.
$3.39/ gallon here in Iowa. Keep going Joe!!!
Right? In what bizarro universe does anyone think 26 straight months of declining real wages is "improvement?"

The judge who signed a warrant for a police raid on a Marion County, Kansas, newspaper now faces scrutiny over previous drunk-driving convictions.
Ha, ouch. Barrels of ink turn out to be pretty powerful still after all.
Is former President Donald Trump actually listening to his lawyers?
Turns out he's not anti-Semitic after all.
Jared and Ivanka heave a sigh of relief.
The FBI has arrested nine current and former California police officers.
Let's see: root for California law enforcement or the feds?
They were arrested for sending racist texts?
we need term limits for cops. 4 to 5 years max. I'm convinced that after that you just become an inveterate racist due to your experiences.
One might think so if you didn't actually read the article, but they were investigated and arrested for abusive police tactics over the last few years. No flies on those fibbies ... no sirree! They got right on it a few years ago.
figured the statute of limitations would have run on Ponch's antics
If successful, it would make Ohio the 24th state to allow cannabis consumption without a doctor's note.
No one tell Uncle Joe.
Bidenomics been berry berry good for the Bidens.
Anyone planning to watch the Republican debate w/o Trump next week?
Might be a good way to find out which ones are really running for VP. I'm predicting Ramaswamy and Tim Scott. The evidence will be careful avoidance of anything that sounds even mildly critical of DJT.
I'd do 12 years of T & V
What is this "Republican debate" of which you speak?
Tim Scott should be the candidate. When the Republicans run a well-qualified minority, they are said to be doing it for tokenism. When the Dems run a totally unqualified minority, they are said to be inclusive.
He has a non-zero chance of being the next president. People are vastly underestimating the possibility of this outcome.
Tbh, Trump is probably the more entertaining prospect and ultimately a better use of time. I am interested in seeing Vivek face off against the contenders and unfortunately think it's Desantis's last chance to either reboot his campaign or finish scuttling it.
No, but I'll watch the Tucker interview with Trump.
"Only 24 percent of all poll respondents said they want to see him run for president again."
Next question is how many Democrats want Newsom to run, and bring the California miracle of crime, drugs, taxes, and tent cities to all of America? He really, really, wants to run.
And he'll probably win. After all, he has good hair. And he kept California safe during the pandemic. (Unless you compare California to Florida.)
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit upheld an injunction against the state enforcing the law, which judges said was likely unconstitutional.
I don’t see how this would be unconstitutional. They can still play on the boys teams just like any other biological male. Choosing to have surgery or other physiological modifications (assuming they even went that far) does not automatically negate or change existing “rights”.
All sports teams should be immediately privatized. There should be no state or other government entity owned athletic organizations, full stop! Government owned and operated enterprises guarantee social warfare trying to capture them for ideological purposes. Since that's not likely to happen any time soon, the next most obvious solution would be to eliminate "boys" and "girls" teams. Don't bother having "tryouts" for team membership; don't ask and don't tell gender preferences or preferred pronouns; assign every applicant to teams randomly. Let the scouts try to sort out which boys and which girls and whatever else they want to recruit for professional teams.
Imagine going back in time to tell your grandparents that in our day there would be a huge social policy argument around whether or not to let the boys play on the girls' teams and the 9th circuit would even step in to DISALLOW a state from keeping those lines delineated at college and k-12 levels in their own schools that they pay for and run.
Amazing.
Correct. Wearing womanface does not make you a woman. Neither do chemical castration nor physical mutilation.
Americans aren't buying anything. They're broke, and everything costs twice as much as it did a few years ago.
When states pass laws to legalize weed in violation of federal law: That's DEMOCRACY!
When states pass laws to allow constitutional carry fully in accordance with federal law and more importantly the constitution: That's MAGA fascism!
When states pass laws to limit abortion window of time to get one, fully in accordance with federal law: That's undermining DEMOCRACY!
When Argentina elects a small-gov libertarian with the popular vote : get ready for it, it's the END OF DEMOCRACY!
Naturally. Why aren't you on board with the agenda of your totalitarian masters?

The "Libertarians" won't achieve anything until, at least, they admit that this is "Trump-a-nomics" right now. Just wait until "Biden-omics" starts in a couple of months. Presidential policies take a couple of years to take effect. I would hope you fools would at least have that much education, although it's all commie these days anyway. Good luck my fellow fools in the game of life
Only Demunists "admit" things which aren't so, Cletus. We have Trump economic policies right now in exactly the same way China is "Galt's Gulch."
"For most of his presidency, Trump routinely received relatively good ratings for his handling of the economy, and they often exceeded his overall approval ratings. These numbers did start to slip, however, as the pandemic wore on in 2020."
Translation: After the bio weapon developed in China with funding (often illegal) from Demunists for over 20 years was released (probably intentionally to win the election), the plandemic had the intended harmful effect on the global economy.

There is no Constitutional right to compete in sports of the other sex. None. Men in womanface are not women, and never will be. This is not a violation of anyone's rights; it is a verifiable fact.
