Who Do Booz Allen Hamilton Workers Support? Mostly Democrats
As the Obama adminstration tries to rid themselves of that meddling Edward Snowden, and revelations about the security-military-industrial complex's eyes on us bloom like roses in excrement, it's interesting to see who the people who work for the company that employed him, Booz Allen Hamilton, supports with political donations, from OpenSecrets.org.
And the percentage given to Democrats is usually pretty high: for 2014 cycle so far, more than ten times as much to Dems as Republicans; for 2012 more than twice as much; for 2010 7 percent more; and for 2008 well more than twice as much, nearly three times as much. Supporters of the surveillance state from Team Obama can be calmed by knowing that it's "people like them" running it.

Report: IRS Scrutiny Worse For Conservatives
Democrats and progressives have a long history of using the IRS to go after both conservative and libertarian organizations.
The Ruether Memorandum encouraged this tactic back in 1961. http://www.scribd.com/doc/3112.....obert-Kenn
Among the dangerous right-wing organizations that Ruether recommended that the IRS target was the Volker Fund, which provided financial support for Hayek, Mises, and Rothbard.
And libertarians populists oppose the IRS. Oh the irony.
Largely irrelevant who the NSA's supporters are; they're dicks, which is what really matters.
Excepting Snowden, of course.
People who know that their livelihood depends on government largess are likely to vote for a large government.
But the one very real and important point that many progressives have taken from the Snowden Affair is the danger of government outsourcing to the private sector.
