SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - A second Spokane police officer has been accused of lying about the 2006 beating death of a man who was wrongly suspected of stealing money from a convenience store ATM.
Officer Timothy Moses was charged last week in Spokane Municipal Court with making a false statement. Arraignment is set for May 3.

Correction: The original headline of this post falsely implied Officer Moses was involved in the death of Otto Zehm.

Karl Thompson got just four years partially because of this false testimony and the feds are letting him plead guilty to a state misdemeanor and resign (retire early). Meanwhile, Otto Zehm is still dead.
This is the same Washington we're constantly reminded of holding officers to a higher standard than "civilians", right?
