Tim Cavanaugh On the Road with Jerry Doyle at 4:30pm Eastern (1:30 Pacific)
Reason.com managing editor Tim Cavanaugh will appear on the Jerry Doyle radio show at 1:30 PM Pacific Time today (4:30 PM Eastern).
Topic: It's 4:30 PM. Do you know where your federal gasoline tax is? How many billions of small unmarked bills will fit on a light rail line? Why are we paying for a transit program that seems to have gotten fewer people using transit? If Ronald Reagan came back from the dead, would liberals still love him? And is the Atlanta "Smart Card" system you paid for even smart?
As always: Big-L Libertarians, Greens, Florida Whigs, Grid Epsilon Irregulars, Copperheads, Communists, Anti-Masonites, Nullifiers, America Firsters, Proletarians, Free Soilers and others are urged to join in.
Time: 1:30 PM Pacific Time today (4:30 PM Eastern).
Place: Jerry Doyle's show is on 230 radio stations around the country. Times seem to vary and are shrouded in mystery like radio itself. To find a local station, click here.

Am I the only one who saw that picture and thought of cancer patient Christopher Hitchens?
Yes. The rest of us thought of Mr. Garibaldi leading an AA meeting.
Aliens Anonymous?
Hey, Kirk got over his alien sex addiction with that group, so Garibaldi's in good company.
My only question is *why* would someone *want* to get over it.
Some species eat their mates. Do you want to take that risk?
I'm assuming some future version of eros.com with pertinent details.
Tired of feeling like we don't have a place where we can just be ourselves? Interested in meeting other like-minded folks who are Bisexual, Queer, Pansexual or Bi-friendly? The goal of ===bicupid*n/e/t====is to provide a fun, safe space for all Bisexual/Queer/Pansexual and Bi-friendly Transgender, Lesbian, Gay and "Straight-But-Not-Narrow" folks to find out about great Bi-inclusive stuff to do, gather and interact .
Grid Epsilon Irregulars
So, has Mr. Garibaldi fully accepted the fact that he will always be known as Mr. Garibaldi? Or is this radio show an attempt to change how he will be remembered by history?
I really liked Babylon 5 back in the day, and there's a minor libertarian angle here. While Star Trek depicted its happy, rosy cash free future, B5 had a definite economy going on. The station wasn't just a center for diplomacy- there was a lot of commerce going on.
I had no idea Doyle had a show. I might just seek it out.
Big-L Libertarians
Little l, please. I prefer to stay flexible and non-ideological. Ideology is the mind killer to paraphrase Babyl- no, wait, that was Dune. Never mind.
Anti-Masonites
i prefer real wood, myself.
(rimshot)
(crickets)
*cough*
Mmmyep.
You people disappoint me.
Meester Garibaldi!
Never gets old.
I really do laugh every time. Listen carefully you can hear me.
Except, it seems, neo-con central: Houston, TX.
My sister has a
longchamp and she likes the Longchamp Bag very much. When people ask
her why she likes her sac longchamp Bag so much, she just answers like that thee is no reason and
because she likes my Longchamp Bag, so she likes it.
