It's pretty hilarious to watch someone argue that alcohol prohibition was successful, and violent crime went down during prohibition. Apparently mobsters weren't that violent. Who knew?

It's incredibly cool to see all these Reason staffers on FOX during Stossel's show. There haven't been enough media outlets for libertarian ideas to get equal exposure versus the typical Red/Blue exposure. I hope the ratings are working out so more of this continues.

The LEO was trying to exclude crime caused by prohibition when he made the violence claim. I like the way he mentioned the drop in domestic violence. If you were drunk and beat your wife prior to the 18th amendment, it counts, but after the 18th, it doesn't count because it was alcohol related, according to his crime went down if you exclude alcohol related crimes idea. What a tool.
