Kerry Howley

Kerry Howley is a contributing editor at Reason magazine and Reason.com.

Howley first came to Reason in 2003 as the Burton C. Gray Memorial Intern. She then moved to Southeast Asia as a reporter and features editor for the Rangoon-based Myanmar Times, where she covered the United Nations and development issues until returning to Reason in 2005. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in creative nonfiction at the University of Iowa.

Howley is a graduate of Georgetown University, where she received a B.A. in philosophy and English. She lives in Washington D.C.
