Waco Police Continue Campaign to Keep Us From Knowing What Happened During Waco Biker Gang Massacre
As I reported at length last week, there is plenty of reason to doubt the official police story of what happened last month at and around the Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, Texas where nine people were killed and 18 wounded in a shootout.
Police claim the tragedy was mostly or entirely a result of a melee of crazy biker gangs shooting at each other. Many eyewitnesses insist most of the shooting, wounding, and killing was done by police after one biker shot at another. Objective video or ballistic evidence has still not been released, nor have police told a very convincing story as to why they were surrounding this meeting of a biker political group called the Confederation of Clubs and Independents to begin with.
This week the obfuscation continues, as reported in local TV station KCEN, regarding an attempt by attorney F. Clinton Broden, representing Matthew Clendennen who is suing the city over false arrest, to get video evidence from the Twin Peaks restaurant via subpoena that he insists will exonerate his client . (Clendennen's story is told at length in my story at the above link):
the subpoena was served on Patrick Keating, an attorney with Haynes & Boone in Dallas and the attorney for the Waco Twin Peaks franchisee. Mr. Keating had previously agreed to accept service of the subpoena on behalf of his client and to produce the video in compliance with the subpoena by 9:00 am on June 26, 2015.
The City of Waco moved to quash the subpoena Thursday afternoon, the reason given in the motion, in part, was "release of the information would interfere with the investigation."
According to Broden's press release, the only party that can move to quash a subpoena is the party to whom the subpoena is issued, in this case the Waco Twin Peaks franchisee.
"It is troubling that the City of Waco would go to such lengths to suppress this video," said Broden. "The Waco Police have repeatedly given the public contradictory information about the events at Twin Peaks and have said that the video will support its current version of the facts, yet they have now taken this extraordinary measure to interfere with the subpoena process," he added.
Waco police continue a simultaneous quest to learn more themselves about what happened that day, and keep the rest of us from learning anything:
Waco Police issued a separate press release Thursday stating they would not be releasing any additional details about what happened in the months leading up to the shootings between the two biker gangs, the Bandidos and Cossacks, allegedly involved in the shootings.
The press release also stated that Waco Police detectives have been completing search warrants for the cell phones that were confiscated in the incident.
Waco's document calling to quash the subpoena, which states in part that the only evidence Clendennen and his lawyer are legally entitled to has to come from the state itself, the people who illegitimately arrested and are trying to convict his client.

How? All the witnesses at this point have given their statements, and any who haven't can't give reliable accounts at this point, so those won't be tainted.
Old News. We have gay marriage.
What does this have to do with gay marriage?
Word. I can't possibly know what to think about Waco cops being abusive statist thugs until I know what Rand Paul thinks about the gay marriage decision.
Reason, why are you avoiding the issue?! We need to know what Rand Paul thinks! About everything!
An army of amped-up cops gunned down a pile of bikers because they feared for their collective shit lives. That's why this story will likely remain obfuscated for decades.
This is exactly what happened, except that unlike AC I think it was planned.
Great way for the pigs to grease some dirtbags, get their adreno fix, and send a message to the clubs about who is in charge.
I do not think they are competent enough to plan anything like this.
$50 says an incompetent undercover cop fired the first shot.
There was a time when I would have thought this tin-foil hat talk. That time has passed.
We live and learn.
As soon as the story came out my first thought was "they just started shooting at each other en mass in a diner/whatever where they had seemingly been otherwise peacefully eating prior?" It didn't make a lot of sense, but I figured you never know.
Well, since the cops are doing their regular cover-their-ass stuff, that immediately leads me to believe my initial skepticism may have been warranted.
I was willing to believe a fistfight turned deadly when the cops shot and the bikers shot back. I have to say, I'm disappointed to find out bukers don't really shoot it out with cops rather than go to prison.
It doesn't even make sense to me that one of the bikers opened up on another one (which is the alternate narrative to all of them opening fire on each other). In broad daylight, in a public location, surrounded by witnesses, who were surrounded by cops.
Especially since its not like this was an 'outlaw' event. A good chunk of the other bikers were from (reasonably) law abiding clubs.
No bet.
The press release also stated that Waco Police detectives have been completing search warrants for the cell phones that were confiscated in the incident.
That's a roundabout way of saying, "are erasing all video."
the reason given in the motion, in part, was "release of the information would interfere with the investigation."
"Interfere with the investigation"
...
"Contradict our version of events"
Same thing.
Outside us anti-cop nutters, no one is going to care about this story. The narrative was built instantly. It was a white person riot, and the cops showed favoritism even though they killed up to 9 of the bikers.
What's the end game for the cops here? Eventually the evidence will come out no matter what they do. Are they trying to pressure people into plea deals?
Only if "us anti-cop nutters" includes the biker community. I've seen links and bits of info from people linked to bikers that are at *least* as interested.
The biker community are considered nutters because of Sons of Anarchy. Also, the police never lie.
The obfuscation is infuriating, and much like the others have said I doubt this anything will come of this story, but I am glad Doherty is covering it.
I don't think they were all white.
I laughed out loud when I saw the news report that the cops only fired something like a dozen rounds. Most people probably saw that and said, "Wow, those guys are PROS."
Remember, 100 miles up the road, a cop had shot and killed an actual terrorist without mag dumping, missing, or hitting a non-combatan a couple weeks before. I didn't believe that they fired a dozen rounds, but was willing to believe they didn't shoot their magazines empty.
These were mostly local Texas cops, weren't they. I imagine those guys get more familiarity with shooting their weapon than a yearly fam-fire course.
I started with my online business I earn $58 every 15 minutes. It sounds unbelievable but you wont forgive yourself if you don't check it out. http://www.Workweb40.com
One reason to wait a long, long time before any details from LEOs, they are scared crapless that there are videos out there that will not fit their narrative.
Always remember, the narrative must fit ALL the videos, even if there's one sitting in someone's camera for 6 months.
Was it a gay biker wedding riot? That could explain things.
You know what else happened in Waco that the Feds would prefer to not talk about?
The willingness of the "civil" law-enforcement to call military power on those who reuse to roll-over for them and the ensuing massacre of the better part of a hundred people?
To protect and...suppress.
