Friday A/V Club: An Exclusive Look at Sony's Revised Cut of The Interview
Or something like that
Seth Rogen's controversial comedy The Interview will appear in theaters after all, despite terrorists' threats to attack venues that show the North Korea–mocking movie. But the studio has recut the picture to make it more palatable to Pyongyang. Watch below:
At the risk of killing the joke: No, Sony isn't really reediting the movie or pushing any version of it into theaters. The video is a piece of propaganda kitsch called Kim Jong Il's Leadership of Korea (2008), in which the late dictator is presented as an omnicompetent commander carrying the country on his shoulders.
You're not obliged to watch the whole thing, but if you start you may find it strangely addictive.

Triumph of the Will meets The Newsroom.
For all the praise that this documentary heaps upon Kim for his numerous contributions to film, literature, opera, and the arts, it omits his highest achievement. The man was simply a genius in the tonsorial arts.

HAHAHAHA! That was funny!
No it wasn't...
If I ran Sony I would postpone the movie for 3 months and give 2 orders:
1. Fix our fucking IT security. If it isn't fixed in 3 months, I pay somebody else to do it and everyone in IT is fired.
2. Re-edit the movie to make it as offensive as possible to NK.

Well, it has about the same level of honesty as you would find in a Michael Moore Documentary.
