Detroit will never regain its former glory. The industry that built it is largely gone or eclipsed, and it is doomed to be run not just by Democrats, but the worst kind: the left-wing, urban, corrupt sort.

I further predict that Shikha will not acknowledge the paradox that 100% support for one libertarian principle (limitless immigration) actively works against all other libertarian principles (because the vast majority of recent and likely future immigrants are distinctly anti-libertarian on nearly all issues).

Shikha has a mindset I've noticed in some other libertarians: they'd rather HAVE libertarian principles than ADVANCE them.

Sadly true. And it's difficult because one's principles don't always fit neatly together, the way they are supposed to, in the real world.
