I completely gave up on the Economist when they went to full deep throated adulation of that fuck.
Is the Economist the singular example of an organization that moved left when taking on a larger American audience?
I know the Economist isn't a right-wing publication notwithstanding some of the editorials at the front of the book, but "the left"?
If anything, that categorization is another example of people and institutions "moving to the left by standing still" over the past 34 years, as folks like Bruce Bartlett like to call it.
