That's 332 times as many sex workers arrested in the stings as people indicted on federal charges involving a minor.

With sweeping "sex trafficking stings," the FBI returns to its roots as the nation's vice squad.

Sex workers and their customers made up 72 percent of arrests in this "underage human trafficking" operation. Human traffickers? One percent.

Operation Cross Country is billed as a way to rescue sex-trafficked children but it's essentially a federally funded vice sting.
