I was alerted to something over the weekend.
If I spent years claiming I was arrested while marching for civil rights with Dr. Martin Luther King, but it later turns out I got a traffic ticket while driving on Martin Luther King Boulevard, I can claim I "misspoke".
Just idle thoughts.
Did you have good intentions ?
You can thank your hero Trump for that.
Trump like no other mainstreamed the idea that truth is irrelevant and lies aren't lies if they come from his mouth. Just "alternative facts".
I can only relate back to LBJ's time. Let me assure you, every president has "mainstreamed the idea that truth is irrelevant."
Oh, every president has lied. But Trump took it to a new level. He lied, over and over, shamelessly, and when anyone tried to hold him accountable, no one could. He had zero remorse and zero shame about any of his lies. That was the big change.
No, he didn’t. You fat piece of shit. This is all you Democrats. Pretty much every last bit of it.
Now get the fuck out.
His lie about keeping your doctor if you like them and reducing insurance costs were particularly egregious.
Just remember. Jeff isn’t a dyed in the wool democrat. And he for sure isn't for government takeover of industry. Just ask him.
translation: "Anyone who criticizes Republicans is a Democrat! How do I know this? Because I criticize Democrats to promote Republicans! That means the only possible reason anyone could criticize a Republican is to promote Democrats! But I'm not binary thinking retard engaging in pure projection. No, that's not me. Hurr durr."
Poor sarc.
I get it. You and Jeff can scream Trump cultists towards anyone who doesn’t support big state authoritarianism.
Meanwhile you cry like a little bitch for being called what you are after: supporting censorship, covid authoritarianism, locking up political opponents, Ukraine war (initially until it made you too obvious), higher taxes, and other democrat care abouts.
We get it. Youre exposed. Your lies don’t work. Youre self deluded. You took an online test to delude yourself more.
We get it.
The funniest part is even today you proved you care more about narratives than facts. Even have admitted you won't read non dem approved facts prior. Youre a worthless propagandized democrat too dumb to realize it.
Sad part is youre on the cusp asking how people support kamala. But they are the same people who blindly trust the government and corporate media and silicon Valley companies you rely on. Lol.
…when anyone tried to hold him accountable, no one could.
Maybe he didn’t really do anything that bad?
Maybe he didn’t do anything.
You do realize that for 3 years, the media and the left gaslit the entire nation on Biden, despite every day evidence of him acting very much like a man whose brain was shot? They insisted that the border was safe and the economy was in tremendous shape.
Trump likes to embellish, and you could say the election conspiracy theories were dangerous. But nothing he did put this nation's future and safety at risk as much as Joe Biden's regime. Countless number of Palestinians, Jews, Russians, and Ukrainians are dead because of his weakness. The government doesn't even pretend that people on terror lists aren't crossing the borders. Iran might have been behind at least one assassination attempt that foiled.
Trump lying about inauguration size is annoying. Your government as a whole lying to you about its basic ability to function can actually hurt you.
The media and the left pushed their own election conspiracy theory.
""You do realize that for 3 years, the media and the left gaslit the entire nation on Biden, despite every day evidence of him acting very much like a man whose brain was shot? "'
Do they not have a presence of mind to know how much of a hit their credibility takes on that? Perhaps it says volumes of how much they believe they can manipulate their viewers.
No Fatfuck, we can blame that on your fellow travelers in the Democrat party. You aren’t even trying to hide your far left identity anymore are you?
Funny coming from Lying Jeffy.
No, you slimy pile of shit: "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor", asshole.
No do the world a favor: FOAD.
Harris and Walz both lied to everyone about Biden's mental decline.
What else are they lying about?
“”Trump like no other mainstreamed the idea that truth is irrelevant and lies aren’t lies if they come from his mouth. Just “alternative facts”.””
How old are you? Because Trump definitely was not the first.
How many times have you heard “misspoke” coming from a democrat in the last 30 years? Lots.
Everybody makes mistakes, right? That's what The Don belched outside the court where he refused to take the stand.
Progressive, not liberal.
Dangerous, not progressive.
Not progressive, he’s a pinko.
At least we're getting policy positions from him.
Thanks. I expected Nick to know better than repeat christianofascist equivocations. Hitler himself despised all things liberal and laissez-faire, or "liberal-capitalist view, in the exploitation of colonies." (Germany had been stripped of African and Pacific colonies long before this 1937 speech.) To Christian Conservatives, "Liberal" means anyone opposed to the burning of books, the return of slavery or a global prohibitionist police state.
Yes Progressive. Most democrats today identify as Progressive. Not the adjective. Hillary, Obama, Bill Clinton. As in Woodrow Wilson Progressive.
"Tim Walz Is Another Big-Government Liberal."
In other news, scientists have found the sun to be a bit on the warm side.
Mondale was a big government liberal, this guys a communist.
Big-time. And he seems to be a big fan of the ChiComs.
Yep, but somehow he will help the dems get the bro vote because he was once a high school football coach.
But I’ve never liked football, so I guess I don’t need to vote for him.
Don't like football? You are just un-American trash. Next you'll tell me apple pie is gross and you don't like cheerleaders with big tits.
/sarcasm
I’d be fine with just the cheerleaders
Football coach? Did he quit right before an important away game?
He is not disguising or apologetic about his politics. He's very much what used to be common in the upper midwest - a small town populist. There are a lot of former-D working class who will connect more with his background than will connect with the perpetual lawyer/professor/journalist/elite class who have run the D's since 1980 or so. The latter is a big reason D’s lost their connection with the working class.
Any notion that the working class can be sold on libertarian/neoliberal economics is insanely stupid. Only Reason can believe that. Trump’s appeal to them is only partly economic. It also involves a ton of ‘hatred of the different’ culture war which is the traditional R (and Southern) appeal to that group. Even the paleolibertarian approach was geared towards the emphasis on ‘hatred of the different’ culture war with handwaving about economics.
We'll see I guess whether JD Vance's background/ideas or Walz's background/ideas appeals more to Rust Belt working class. It'll only take around 200,000 voters in MI/PA/WI to make the election difference.
"He is not disguising or apologetic about his politics..."
Yep, like you, turd, sarc and jeffy, he's a slimy pile of lefty shit and proud of it.
It’ll only take around 200,000
votersvotes in MI/PA/WI to make the election difference.FTFY
How can Trump appeal to hatred of the different? When you think Trump, what comes to mind? High rises. Casinos. Cosmopolitan. A new football club in a new league. Jet set. It just doesn't square with the image of hating the different.
Who lied about his military service.
It's just a misrepresentation on the paperwork.
Tim Walz Is Another Big-Government Liberal
Hard hitting stuff, to be sure.
COVID Karen Czar.
Weird, too. He's 60 years old and doesn't own a house, or apparently any stocks or bonds.

Walz does not invest in any stocks, bonds or other securities, according to a U.S. House disclosure in 2019. As of January, Walz continued to forego ownership of any securities, a Minnesota financial form shows.

They're held by a close relative.
Aunt Nancy, out in Napa Valley?
The absolutely hilarious delusions of the center-right on display:
Is Kamala more ideologue or opportunist? That is the big question.
If the answer is the former, then there is cause for concern. If it is the latter, then I could envision a Bill Clinton type of presidency.
Even if she is an ideologue, there will be incentive to moderate so as not to ruin her chances of re-election four years hence. With any luck, by that time neither Trump nor any other grifters (I’m looking at you, Ramaswamy) will be candidates, and I can vote Republican again.
norcal (13fd15) — 8/12/2024 @ 3:13 pm
What possible fucking incentive does Harris have to "moderate" in the age of ballot harvesting and her side running America's cultural institutions, which idiots like this let the left take over without so much as a whimper when they were in charge of the GOP?
A GOP that this moron will vote for is one that will let your kids get mutilated, either by queer doctors or in one of their stupid foreign wars.
"What possible fucking incentive does Harris have to “moderate” in the age of ballot harvesting and her side running America’s cultural institutions "
The donor class may turn against her, cutting off her funding. That was the case with Biden, and look what happened to him. You don't think she campaigns on her own dime, do you?
FOAD, asshole.
The donor class may turn against her, cutting off her funding. That was the case with Biden, and look what happened to him. You don’t think she campaigns on her own dime, do you?
What happened with Biden had nothing to do with policy and everything to do with his senility finally becoming to blatant to gaslight about.
What happened to Biden had everything to do with his ability or lack of it to win the election. The donor class lost confidence after his appearance with Trump and pulled the plug. Enter Harris, stage Left, and the funds began to flow again. She picked up some $200 million in less than a week.
The donor class had Gay fired from the presidency of Harvard in much the same way. Ah, the joys of a big government oligarchy.
What happened to Biden had everything to do with his ability or lack of it to win the election.
Which had nothing to do with policy.
"Which had nothing to do with policy."
It has everything to do with policy. Democrats have to first be re-elected if they are to implement any of their policies over the 4 years. Donors saw that Biden wasn't fit to win re-election so they stopped funding until Harris was installed. Harris was thought to have better chances at being elected and implementing big donor policies. I've tried to explain this as simply as possible, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
It has everything to do with policy.
No, it had to do with their inability to continue lying that Joe didn't have the Regime's hand firmly up his ass.
First you have to win the election. Then you can implement policy. It's really as simple as that, I promise you. The big donors doubted Biden's chances at re-election - they don't give a shit if he or anyone else lies to the public - and threatened to stop funding. When Harris took over, the funding was renewed. I can't state it any more plainly.
So the money men are in charge of the democrat party despite them trying to gaslight America it’s a grass roots organization.
Money men > Voter
"So the money men are in charge of the democrat party despite them trying to gaslight America it’s a grass roots organization."
Good lord, man, you're only realizing this now? What the fuck is wrong with you?
I have never liked Tim Walz and a lot of it is because of his “Stolen Valor”. While I might not like John Kerry, he at least served and to my knowledge didn’t inflate his role.
Tim Walz is in the same category as Senator Richard Blumenthal who claims that he had occasionally “misspoken” about his service record.
I have ZERO respect for politicians who make claims about their military record that are clearly lies. It is one thing for a veteran to embellish their record a bit around the edges while drinking at a bar, but to use embellishments or outright lies for political gain is very revealing about the person and how unqualified they are for higher power.
It should not be acceptable to achieve power through any means not matter how corrupt and dishonest. This is the mantra of Governor Tim Walz and Senator Richard Blumenthal.
I respect honorable veterans even if they have different opinions on how to solve the issues we face. I do not respect dis-honorable veterans such as Governor Tim Walz and Senator Richard Blumenthal.
"but to use embellishments or outright lies for political gain is very revealing about the person and how unqualified they are for higher power."
Selling oneself is just good salesmanship. Any successful politician will have this quality. What outright lies did you have in mind? The National Guard seems to have had a high opinion of Walz. They promoted him to sergeant major, which is quite an honor, and not typically endowed on the lazy, or those lacking in leadership qualities. What do you know about Walz that the Guard doesn't?
Didn't Waltz retire a Master Sargent?
Which isn't bad for a career. I'm not sure what the problem with just saying that is?
Do the dems love the term "command" that much or do they have a problem with saying the Master part of Master Sargent?
Tampon Tim isn't just another big government liberal, he's a fat little dick taster.
The more I read about how he ran Minnesota and Minneapolis with the draconian lockdowns and allowing the joggers to burn down cities tells me all I need to know about that fat little liberal turd.
The Gods help us all if those two should gain the White House.!
Hope for the best and plan for the worst.
Here in Michigan we have it nearly as bad as Komrad Nessel declares the First Amendment and free speech illegal.
I watched Waltz speaking for a minute or two and was horrified that his criticism of the Christian National Socialist was that the guy wasn't into serving... It was the standard communist whine that "We're the REAL altruists! Those other guys are fakes, pretending to be into altruism, sacrifice and the Common Good before the Individual Good." Then again, it underscores how alike the two versions of coercive altruist collectivism reveal themselves in unguarded moments. The Great Unwashed seem to lap up both versions in any case.
