Judge Limits What George Zimmerman's Attorneys Can Tell Jurors About Trayvon Martin

Can't tell them about gold teeth, marijuana use, his school records, or his history of fighting

Two weeks before the trial of the man charged with murdering Trayvon Martin is set to begin, a judge on Tuesday limited what lawyers for accused killer George Zimmerman can tell the about the victim life.

Circuit Judge Debra Nelson ruled that lawyers can't mention Trayvon Martin's school records, past fighting, marijuana use, ownership of gold teeth, as well as any photos or text messages found on the teen's phone. Nelson said she reserves the right to change the ruling during the trial if lawyers open the door to such issues. However, she said that she can't imagine that any of these things would be relevant.
