Brickbat: Typo Trauma

A typo apparently led Pinellas County, Florida, sheriff's deputies to pull a man and his epileptic teenage daughter from their car at gunpoint. A local TV station reports that a deputy ran the car's tag and it came back stolen. But about 10 minutes after deputies pulled over the driver, dashboard and bodycam video showed the deputy who entered the tag number realizing he'd typed it in wrong. Another deputy can be heard complaining about deputies "not knowing what they're doing." "People make mistakes," said the deputy who ran the tag number.

To be fair, Archibald Tuttle, despite being a terrorist, has an epileptic daughter and we shouldn’t arrest people with epileptic daughters or should only use rubber batons when arresting people with epileptic daughters or only calm voices and dulcet tones when arresting terrorists with epileptic daughters or something. Otherwise, Western Democracy (the good kind) as we know it falls and the dark night of police-state fascism (the Religious, Conservative, Republican kind) descends.

Did she actually suffer a seizure in the middle of this or do we just get a complete medical breakdown of all the underage females involved in these sorts of incidents now? What about Dad? Was his cholesterol a little high or do we just not care about his medical maladies too? Would the typo have been OK if the daughter didn't have epilepsy?

Can't just rest on the laurels of calling out a cop for a typo, gotta score the extra diverse/divisive victim points when you can get them. Otherwise, there would be no justice to be had.
