After Tuesday's debate, do you think Rand Paul is back? Well I can tell you that quite a few people involved on tonight's special Election 2016 episode of Stossel (Fox Business Network, 8 p.m. ET [UPDATE: postponed until at least 10 p.m. due to Paris terrorism attacks]) sure think so. I'll be on for most of the show, along with fellow panelists Ben Domenech (publisher of The Federalist) and FBN's Dagen McDowell, comparing candidates' plans and rhetoric on spending, regulation, crony capitalism, immigration, trade, foreign policy, and more.

There will also be a fun segment about John Stossel's previous tussles with Donald Trump, which you can also read about right here at Reason.

Our friends chez 'stache say: "Feel free to tag us on Facebook using Facebook.com/JohnStossel, and on Twitter, @JohnStossel, using hashtags #STOSSEL and #Election2016." You heard 'em!

I thought his show aired on Thursdays.

    1. ATXChappy   10 years ago

I used to be. Unfortunately, they moved it to Friday a while back.

"... but enough about Chris Christie..."

    "Is this thing even on?"

    "" tonight's special Election 2016 episode of Stossel ""

Is this like the Special Episode which never aired after the debate? Did that even happen?

  4. Aloysious   10 years ago

Hey, Matt. We dare you to wear a large, fake 'stache onto the show. Just for fun.

Also, I'll be attending a ice hockey sporting event this evening so those of you who were hoping for a resurrection of Team Stossel Live Blog, you will be disappointed. I know, it's a bummer, but fuck you, none of you appreciated it even when it was in its prime.

    1. sarcasmic   10 years ago

      You like Stossel?

        I'm a neutral observer.

    Rand/'stache 2016.

    1. Pan Zagloba   10 years ago

Only if Rand grows a mighty, non-hipster beard. Otherwise, stache is getting the top billing.

      1. GILMORE?   10 years ago

How do you distinguish Real Beard from Hipster Beard?

I have no easy answer myself, and instead rely on "I know it when i see it"

        1. Pan Zagloba   10 years ago

Yes, it's very hard. My criterion is, if I gave this guy a sword and a fur cape, would I be pissing myself in fear? Could I picture him murdering peasants and dragging women back to the longship?

How do you distinguish Real Beard from Hipster Beard?

I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with the beard.

          1. Pan Zagloba   10 years ago

            Hipsters overgroom.

Im making over $9k a month working part time. I kept hearing other people tell me how much money they can make online so I decided to look into it. Well, it was all true and has totally changed my life. This is what I do,

I feel like Fox Mulder when discussing Rand's chances. I mean, "I want to believe," but he has been getting curbstomped in the polls, even after this last debate.
    RCP has Paul polling thusly:
    FL, 11/13, 1 percent
    GA 11/13, 1 percent
    TX 11/12, 4 percent (Yay!)
    AZ 11/11, 1 percent

    Etc...

It's just not going to happen, absent a tremendous change of events.

  10. Fist of Etiquette   10 years ago

I'll be on for most of the show...

It's almost like it's pretaped that you know that ahead of time.
