Watch Matt Welch Talk Rand Paul & Econ on Fox Business Network's Making Money with Charles Payne from 6-7 ET
For the full hour beginning at 6 p.m. ET, I'll be on Fox Business Network's Making Money with Charles Payne, talking about stuff like:
* Rand Paul vs. Washington on the Patriot Act.
* Google's new one-stop "security hub."
* Whether us consumers are spending enough damn money.
* EEOC v. Abercrombie & Fitch Stores.
Should be lively, with plenty of opportunities for the commenters to critique my choice of shoe-wear.

Prediction: Lavender ties all around.
Matt, it is "we" consumers. Not "us" consumers.
U.S. consumers. (He's very provincial.)
Ah. Got it.
Damn you are easy. Go to many carnivals?
I'm only easy if I like you, Cupcake (wink wink)
Of course we're gonna criticize your shoewear Matt.
Everyone knows you're Gillespe's bitch, and bitches should be kept barefoot.
Now get back in the kitchen and make us some sandwiches
I'm fucking day drinkin like a purple smurf bitch!
Agile Cyborg is becoming a bad influence on the commentariat.
I hope he's wearing 80 different brands of sneakers.
Just to piss Bernie Sanders off.
I'm not sure about the Abercrombie decision. I can see both sides: it's not unreasonable for employers to have dress codes, and it's not unreasonable to allow religious clothing. But does that really mean that a clothing store can't dictate dress for employees? Can a hair salon not insist that a female employee show her hair? Does Hooters have to hire a woman in a burka?
Uniforms. Everyone in uniforms. Including the hair thinga majiggy
There. Problem solved.
You know who else was in favor of uniforms?
Every goddamn statist who ever lived?
The nuns at St. Brendan's.
Hugo Boss?
Aramark?
An employer should be able to hire or fire anyone for any damn reason they want.
Not if you are Mooslem woman, son. Sorry.
LOL
Huh, yeah, this is too funny. A radical libertarian talking Econ. To a libertarian all Econ means is become a shill for the Koch Brothers and big oil and not pay any taxes so that women and poor people die in the streets. Amirite?
And Kennedy is now showing at 8:00 PM EDT on FBN.
Kennedy has a show?
Who is this Kennedy of whom you write?
/sarc in the event I needed to point it out
Why would we do that? Are you going to wear them on your head? Or are you going to wear heels, 70's style?
He's going to wear those big scary boots that Gene Simmons of Kiss wore on stage so that everyone will become afraid of libertarians and just do what we say.
It's cold gin time again!
Hype- that would be so cool.
Brown shoes? Gross. Why do people think brown shoes are acceptable in any suit situation? Maybe a seersucker.
They certainly didn't bring Welch on for his lavender tie.
YOU DON'T SPEAK FOR ME, WELCH.
Ha, tan mom is totally pro-Patriot Act. And she's on the horse race of Paul's stand.
That's what a primary race is. Attacking each other to get the nod.
The women ruined that discussion. There, I said it.
What do these people think the purpose of the 2nd Amendment was?
When he said as a New Yorker he wanted gun control reined in, what did he mean?
Why does America even care about FIFA?
Would Hilary still be against this decision if it's not a Muslim but a nun who wanted to wear a habit while working at Abercrombie and Fitch? I DON'T THINK SO.
I would have thought the existence of A&F would be offensive to her religious sensibilities. It's not like that company is known for modest attire or advertising.
Why should the Muslims be the only people not to take an ? la carte approach to their organized religion?
Regular people are idiots and the people who swing elections don't own real estate. IT'S TRUE.
"The only way the economy can go is up."
Payne just figuratively patted Welch on the head.
AH! Lou Dobbs.
