Isn’t it really easy to pick metrics, arbitrarily claim they are goals worthy of achieving, and then pointing out how far we are from achieving them?
“WHY is it a good thing to be X, vs the cost of attaining X? ”
“Because, leading men agree that X is something we should all strive for.”
