Ukrainian police reportedly boarded a bus full of protestors and beat the hell out of them. It turns out that it was a group of pro-government protestors. When the cops figured out their error, they sent the group on its way.

But are they still pro-government? Inquiring minds need to know!

    1. Wasteland Wanderer   11 years ago

      Depends...How dumb are they?

    2. Snark Plissken   11 years ago

Because this isn't about being pro- or anti-government so much as being Russian nationalist or Ukrainian nationalist.

    3. WTF   11 years ago

If they are the Ukrainian equivalent of progressives, then yes, they are still pro-government.

      1. Doctor Whom   11 years ago

If they are the Ukrainian equivalent of pro-choice progressives, they are now anti-government on that one specific issue and pro-government on everything else.

  2. Snark Plissken   11 years ago

Ukrainians are incredibly tough, like a bunch of Mongos, beating them up just makes them mad.

    1. Wasteland Wanderer   11 years ago

Mongo only pawn in game of life.

I found Bulgarian circus performers to be, perhaps not surprisingly, fairly unconcerned with risks to their life and limb. When I made a mistake moving some trusses around that pinned one man's leg between two steel trusses (no damage fortunately), it was merely a source of amusement for him and those who saw it, despite the real possibility of a career-ending injury for an acrobat.

At least I think they were Bulgarian. When asked where they were from they said what sounded like "boogery".

Part of the is that people tend to chew and swallow their words. (Try listening to Cubans speaking Spanish. God forbid they let a whole word escape.) Part of it is having both vowels and consonants that are shifted from what we're accustomed to hear. I had a terrible time learning to hear a particular Russian vowel. It sounded just like an "i" to me for weeks.

  3. Fist of Etiquette   11 years ago

Instead of stop resisting, the Russky po-po shouted, "Why do you make me hurt you?!?" Then afterwards the protestors were instructed to tell anyone who asks that they just clumsily walked into a door.

Procedures were followed; nothing else happened.

    1. UnCivilServant   11 years ago

The perpetrators have agreed to pay their bribes promptly in the future, and were released to gather what they owe.

  6. RishJoMo   11 years ago

Sounds like a pretty serious plan dude.
