Rep. Trey Radel To Return To Congress After Rehab
The freshman Republican pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine last November
The Florida Republican congressman who was busted for possession of cocaine in November will return to his day job on Capitol Hill next week.
Rep. Trey Radel, who finished a stint in rehab late last month, is expected back in Washington when the House returns next Tuesday evening, according to a source familiar with his plans.
Radel pleaded guilty Nov. 20 to possession of cocaine, and has been on a leave of absence from Congress since then. He retreated to a Naples, Fla., drug rehabilitation center for just shy of a month, and emerged vowing to "begin this process of rebuilding your trust and doing what you elected me to do."
