Boehner Tells Colleagues He Will Avoid Debt Default
Even if he needs to rely on Democrats
House Speaker John A. Boehner, apparently sharing Obama administration alarm about a possible debt default, has told colleagues he will act to raise the federal debt limit even if he has to rely on the votes of House Democrats, GOP aides said Thursday.
It was not immediately clear, however, whether Boehner (R-Ohio) would stand by such a position publicly or whether it would prove to be a trial balloon allowing him to gauge the reactions of the GOP's tea party wing.
President Obama warned Thursday that the looming debt-ceiling crisis could be even more damaging than the current government shutdown, which he said could end immediately if House Republicans would hold a vote on a short-term spending bill without partisan attachments.

That's a smarter move by Boehner than I expected. Keep the government shutdown in place, but extend the debt ceiling. It takes away the "destroy the economy, worst than the great recession" meme that's already started up.
So because the failure to raise the debt ceiling is being mis-represented in the MSM as default we should raise the debt ceiling.
NO. What they should be saying is: "Every person who says failing to raise the debt ceiling is default is either a liar or a fool. Even without raising the debt ceiling the govt has plenty of money coming in to pay its financial obligations, so it will not default. It just doesn't have enough money to pay for other things."
my friend's sister makes =$?8?0= an hour on the laptop. She has been fired from work for seven months but last month her pay check was =$?1?2?7?4?1= just working on the laptop for a few hours. here are the findings...
