The resolution of this video is so bad I can't focus on the quality of knot in Welch's tie or his level of facial hair.

Props to Cavuto for focusing the conversation on the NSA revelations and not the leaker. As much as I like to hear Repukes getting hammered on the traitor talk, the NSA must be the focus. And props to Welch for getting pissed off on the "bumper stickers" talk and reminding Cavuto that there's a constitution that doesn't allow for "tough on terror" at any cost.

Can we get beyond bumper-sticker politics and policy-making in this country?

    Outlook not so good.
    My sources say no.

Next up, a discussion of how to Get Back At Russia, tit for tat, eye for an eye, we're rubber they're glue.

I think Russia is still catching up on the whole "welcoming defectors" tally.

Not just under the Founders - we were under an existential threat during the Cold War, and there was (mostly) more respect for civil liberties. That we should lose them for fear of a bunch of savages trying to bomb planes is just sad.

You should have backdated your post, Matt.

But then no one would have seen it!

Did you try forward-dating your television appearance?
