Jay Carney Targeted by Conservative Group
Attempt to shame him for stonewalling former colleagues in the media
The conservative American Future Fund has decided to wage a public campaign against the Obama administration's monitoring of reporters, but it isn't going after President Obama or even Attorney General Eric Holder.
Instead, it's targeting White House press secretary Jay Carney.
On Wednesday, the Iowa-based 501(c)(4) published a full-page ad in the print edition of POLITICO pressuring Carney, a longtime journalist, to stop stonewalling his former colleagues.
