California Senate Democrats Approve Gun Control Measures

Bill introduced after the Sandy Hook massacre

|

California's Democrat-controlled Senate approved a package of gun measures to tighten laws that are already among the most restrictive in the U.S. in the wake of massacres including aConnecticut school shooting.

The bills sent to the Assembly, also led by Democrats, included measures to ban magazines holding more than 10 rounds as well as semi-automatic rifles with detachable magazines, require ownership records for all types of guns and set background checks for ammunition buyers.

  1. I noticed a pattern on the cases that came with the guns I’ve purchased recently: NOT LEGAL IN CALIFORNIA.

    Suck it, bitchez.

  2. I thought for certain that magazines with greater than a ten shot capacity were already banned in CA? Also, I am pretty sure they already did that with the semi autos also- the AR’s are limited to some God awful single shot conversion. Perhaps the limits for semi auto rifles only applied to the so called “assault weapons” and they are now broadening that?
On a more positive note, my state of residence is Tennessee, NOT CALIFORNIA.
