President Believes in 'Unfettered' Press, But With 'Balance,' Says Press Secretary
Which wouldn't seem all that "unfettered"

In a tense press conference amidst multiple scandals, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney repeatedly claimed that President Obama supports "unfettered" freedom of the press, but tempered the statement by insisting that such freedom must be "balanced" by national security concerns.
The Obama administration has prosecuted twice as many people who leaked information to the press as all other previous administrations combined.
