Video of Handcuffed Suspect Being Tased Sparks Investigation
This is why cops don't like cameras
The Asheville Police Department is investigating several of its officers after cell phone video surfaced of a suspect allegedly being tased while in handcuffs.
The family of 20-year-old Roberto Ayala provided the video to News 13's Mario Boone and claims police used excessive force. His mother said Ayala was walking through Pisgah View Apartments April 1st when he was stopped by four officers. A struggle ensued that was caught on tape by several bystanders. Ayala's mother, Faustina Sawyer, claimed it all went down while the man was on the ground in handcuffs.
