Officer Gets House Arrest for Forging Subpoena
Naughty, naughty
MERIDIAN, Mississippi — A former Meridian police officer has been sentenced to house arrest and probation after being convicted of forging a subpoena, while employed as a police officer, to obtain his wife's phone records.
Terrell Thompson, 33, was sentenced Thursday for wire fraud in Lauderdale County Circuit Court. He was sentenced to one year houses arrest followed by five years' probation.
Prosecutors say Thompson forged the signatures of a judge and a police detective on a subpoena which he faxed to the phone company.
