Ashley Judd Heading to DC to Speak on Birth Control
May be a possible Senate candidate in Kentucky
Could this be a political coming out event for Ashley Judd?
The actress and possible Senate candidate will be talking about women's reproductive health on Friday at George Washington University's School of Public Health here in the nation's capital. Given the buzz about Judd maybe running for the Democratic Senate nomination in Kentucky, chances are the event could be well attended.
Judd has been talking to political professionals about jumping into the 2014 race, and her moves have already been attacked by GOP strategist Karl Rove. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who currently holds the seat, got into the act with a Web video that mocked Judd and potential Democratic opponents.
