Detroit Police to Tiger Fans: Your Money or Your Life
Gotta hand it to the Detroit police. It at least adapts to circumstances. A few years ago, Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Charlie LeDuff exposed that the force was routinely cooking the books to shed the city's reputation as the murder capital of the country – where the police itself commits a number of the murders! Reported LeDuff in 2009:
The police department incorrectly reclassified 22 of its 368 slayings last year as "justifiable" and did not report them as homicides to the FBI as required by federal guidelines. There were at least 59 such omissions over the past five years, according to incomplete records obtained from the police department through the Freedom of Information Act
A thorough look at the 2008 homicide statistics reveals other omissions:
- In one case, the police reclassified a homicide as a suicide.
- Two men were stabbed to death, but were not included due to "insufficient evidence."
- A man who was beaten to death, according to the medical examiner, died by accident, according to the police.
- A baby beaten to death never made the homicide tally, nor did a man who was found shot in the head.
What is more, records show Detroit police officers killed 10 civilians last year, a five-fold increase from 2007. That makes the Detroit department one of the most deadly in America even as it operates under federal supervision, for among other things, the use of lethal force and the illegal detention of witnesses.
Adjusting Detroit's number to 368 homicides pushes the city's rate to 40.7 per 100,000 residents, past the previously reported rate of 33.8 and well ahead of Baltimore's 36.9. It makes Detroit once again the Murder Capital of cities with more than 500,000 residents.
But last weekend, facing a 10 percent pay cut and 12-hour shifts, Detroit police officers patrolling the streets ahead of the Tigers game warning fans that the city was in fact not safe. "The city is getting more dangerous," said DPOA President Joe Duncan to The Detroit News. "The only thing I know that's going down in the city of Detroit is my paycheck and my membership." He, and his colleagues, who had previously sued the city to avoid layoffs and wage cuts, urged fans to vote "yes" on Prop 1 and 2.
Prop 1 will essentially scrap a recent law handing emergency managers powers to restore the fiscal solvency of cities like Detroit by, among other things, rewriting union contracts.
Prop 2 (aka Protect Our Jobs initiative) is the ballot proposal that will enshrine union benefits and powers in the state constitution, making public sector unions a more powerful force in Michigan than Magic Johnson in his heyday – not to mention the elected legislature – as I pointed out in this WSJ last week.
But police officers can cook crime stats all they want, the reality is that if Detroit goes off the fiscal cliff – a distinct possibility in the next year without divine intervention – so will their jobs.
In other news, as police unions were messing with baseball fans, Detroit's police chief was allegedly messing with a subordinate and was forced to step down.

Roland 'Prezbo' Pryzbylewski: I don't get it. All this so we score higher on the state tests? If we're teaching the kids the test questions, what is it assessing in them?
Grace Sampson: Nothing. It assesses us. The test scores go up, they can say the schools are improving. The scores stay down, they can't.
Roland 'Prezbo' Pryzbylewski: Juking the stats.
Grace Sampson: Excuse me?
Roland 'Prezbo' Pryzbylewski: Making robberies into larcenies. Making rapes disappear. You juke the stats, and majors become colonels. I've been here before.
Grace Sampson: Wherever you go, there you are.
Bunk: [to McNulty] "That will teach you to give a fuck when it ain't your turn to give a fuck."
That scene has been on my mind of late.
I love The Wire, but it saddens me to know what a giant asshole David Simon is.
You know who else was a giant asshole?
Classic! All I had to do was hover over that link and I almost had to send you the bill for a new monitor.
Fortunately there's the Robocop program they developed as a contingency against just this sort of thing.
I need a volunteer... here, point this gun at the robot.
Hell, even a force of ED-209's would be an improvement over the current police force. They would kill less suspects.
No, Hugh...Robocop was a documentary, and was filmed...in real time.
His name is Robert, you idiot.
Bobby Cop. I would purchase that for $1.00.
A baby beaten to death never made the homicide tally,
That wasn't a murder, that was a late-term abortion.
Is he sleeping, or hoping the reporter is going in for a kiss?
He could be cruising. Is this at a truck stop? State park bathroom?
Dunkin Donuts overdose.
Diabetic comas are serious business.
Cooping. See definitions 1 and 2.
Yeah he really could be doing either one.
Or both. The Sleeping Self-Abuser strikes again.
Who makes up that stuff?
Keith Urban. It's right there in the url, duh.
in hawaii, officers slept a fair amount during the midnight shift. one officer was famous for showing up in roll call with a pillow. seriously.
granted, we switched shift-time every 6-8 weeks, so the body never adjusted.
I hope you're proud to be stealing from the taxpayers.
Die in a fire, fuckbag.
My cousin has been working rotating shifts at a nuclear power plant for a few decades and has never slept on the job. Then again he's an honest fellow. He'd never make it as a cop.
I always had slack hours overseas, and nobody ever woke us by shooting at us, the operations tempo stayed low and slow (especially during the surge in Iraq) - poor police, they have it so hard!
Drop the second job, drop the donut bag and go the gym once in while and don't drink yourself to sleep - maybe you can adjust to a shift time change once every two months.
im not apologizing for it. i'm simply saying - it happened. a lot.
fwiw, as to your second paragraph, i totally agree. carry a kettlebell in your cruiser and do a brief workout when you are feeling a little groggy during midnight shift. that's a good way to stay awake and get the juices flowing.
from a HR standpoint, shifts like that are stupid. they are more likely to result in overtired, groggy officers and the lack of alertness etc can have life or death consequences.
SugarFree is legion.
Can we join this Legion? The SugarFree Legion - funny hats, an annual convention and everything?
That makes the Detroit department one of the most deadly in America even as it operates under federal supervision, for among other things, the use of lethal force and the illegal detention of witnesses.
The comment wrongfully insinuates the Federal Government is *less* likely to wantonly use lethal force or detain people indefinitely for no legal reason whatsoever.
Yeah. If they're under federal supervision now, I'd assume drone strikes would be up.
They are right next to a national border. The Canuckistani menace must be guarded against.
I say if they render enough tribute of maple syrup, pea bacon and potuine, we let them live, un-drone molested.
My wife's cousin married a canadian. We get the pea bacon for breakfast whenever we go vist. Good stuff.
WTF is pea bacon?
I'm canadian and this is bacon
http://www.epicurious.com/reci.....con-368929
Aw yeah, that looks bacon-riffic, Erherzog of the Trouser Admirer
You have to start thinking that leftist politicians and public sector union workers have to be thinking, WTF? It's all going to hell anyways, so let's get ours before it's too late. Because they can't really be that stupid to think this is all sustainable, can they?
Their intentions are right, so what could go wrong?
Fewer black men in prison please. The subculture has got to go.
I read that first sentence as the DPD slaying 368 people last year, which sounded like a lot. Only 10 civilians? That's a slow week here in LA.
Where's Robocop when you need him!
10 homicides by cops out of a service population of 715k and reason is claiming this is EXCESSIVE??!?!?!
lol
especially considering the astoundingly high Part I crime rate in detroit (iow, a populaon of 715k with a high crime rate)
some stat for giggles
http://bjs.ojp.usdoj.gov/conte.....ustify.cfm
"That makes the Detroit department one of the most deadly in America even as it operates under federal supervision"
what utter rubbish~! again, 715k people in detroit and TONS of scumbag felons, etc. cops kill 10 people in this sewer and that makes them "deadly" and to be feared?
seriously. lol
get some stats reason. you say they are the most deadly. but do you take intoaccount the crime rate of the service population?
i can find lots of citis with a service population of 500-800k that have less police killings than detroit with 10
you will also note that near uniformly they also have much lower VIOLENT CRIME rate. hint: more violent crime rate does and should equal more polic killings.
compare detroit to cities with SIMILR PART I crime rates and THEN see if your claim holds water
that would be a rational metric.
Yeah, Detroit's a freakin' cesspool. You can't really compare it to other major cities.
word. the stats are astounding. even wiki has 'em
you show me a police force, that only shot and killed 10 people in detroit in a year,. and i will show you one that has remarkable restraint.
i also suspect some possible "depolicing' going on but i have no data to support that.
People who willingly go to Detroit should be removed from the gene pool.
Detroit police officers patrolling the streets ahead of the Tigers game warning fans that the city was in fact not safe.
They no doubt concluded their efforts to improve the lot of the common man by urging the citizenry to arm themselves and attain proficiency in the art of lethal self defense.
Brave officer shoots and kills a 5'7" 135lb naked man.
http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_new.....s-why?lite
Every officer should be so brave.
Yeah, OSU and Columbus police just came to some agreement about allowing campus security more power in areas near but off campus. What could go wrong?
http://www2.nbc4i.com/news/201.....r-1177116/
according to the FBI LEJ naked EDP's are amongst the most dangerous calls officers deal with . yes, the guy was small, he was also an elite wrestler. a naked, likely sweating (and i'll be when the toxicology results come back we will see stimulants, and possibly poly drug combo) and we will wait to see if he was also excited delirium
ever try getting a naked sweaty man , who is an elite wrestler no less into handcuffs, especially a violent assaultive one?
ok, probably the wrong target audience for that question. not to mention that this article is aobut detroit, and the nekkid case wasnt even in the same state
also, according to articles, there was ample video coverage of the incident, so will be nice to see what those show.
that aside... i'd way rather have the above results than this
http://community.seattletimes......deputy23m0
feel free to research about the dangers of naked EDP's, and their corrolation of excited delirium and violence towards police.
ever try getting a naked sweaty man , who is an elite wrestler no less into handcuffs, especially a violent assaultive one?
I see your point. It makes so much more sense to just put a bullet in his chest. After all, he did disobey commands issued by authority. No one deserves to live after that.
ever try getting a naked sweaty man , who is an elite wrestler no less into handcuffs,
Nooo, can't say I have. I don't really swing that way, but hey, NTTAWWT.
there is a old cops episode, philadelphia iirc, where they are trying to get a naked, sweaty, bloody guy into handcuffs. iirc, it's like 3 or 4 cops and it is a total battle royale clusterfuck.
clothes make it WAY easier to control a suspect. ask any MMA practitioner if it is easier to submit somebody gi or no-gi
It's even easier to simply shoot them dead.
Not that any MMA practitioner would do that. They have honor and respect, and are subject to laws. Unlike cops.
What if the officer was a 5'2" 102lb naked man? WAIT FOR THE INVESTIGATION.
**golf clap**
You've got a future in the public sector, Fist.
The entire episode was caught on security cameras which are in the hands of the DA right now.
I'm sure that all the cameras were functioning properly and that none of the footage will be lost.
Haaaaaaaaa ha ha ha ha!
darn that pesky rule of law.
darn that pesky rule of law.
Rule of Law? That hasn't existed here since Bivens vs Six Unknown Named Agents and Harlow v. Fitzgerald.
There is no rule of law.
There is rule of man through the discretion of the cops, the prosecutors, and the creative interpretation of statue by judges.
If there was rule of law then two different people being caught doing the same thing would be treated the same. But they are not. It all depends on if the cop likes them, if they are related to someone with political connections, whether or not their lawyer (if they can afford one) is friends with either a prosecutor or a judge, and a host of other factors that have nothing to do with the law.
There is no rule of law. There is only rule of assholes like you.
I can understand why you like it this way. Power is intoxicating.
I think that cop should get an award. The more they sleep on the job, the safer we all are.
They would kill less suspects.
*scowls*
what utter rubbish~! again, 715k people in detroit and TONS of scumbag felons, etc. cops kill 10 people in this sewer and that makes them "deadly" and to be feared?
seriously. lol
Your mask is slipping again.
Baboon Army of Occupation authoritarianism "US vs THEM" is what all the grown up libertarians are doing these days.
Don't insult baboons. Would you like it if someone called you a dunphy?
True Statement: If you read dunphy in an Officer O'Hara voice, it makes it almost funny.
Your mask is slipping again.
That's been happening a lot lately.
Maybe honesty is a symptom of all those pain pills he's been taking.
I was kinda hoping his cancer had gone aggressive and he was trying to make peace with himself by being honest about his disdain for "civilians".
I would rather the honesty without the cancer.
please show where i am being dishonest.
as i have said, i love people. i have no disdain for civilians quote unquote UNLIKE many people here who openly admit to disdain and about how most people are dumb, etc.
i LOVE people. i dislike scumbags, but they are a SMALL percentage of the population
show me the highest crime neighborhood you can find and I'll show you 9/10 people who are good, salt of the earth wonderful people
please show where i am being dishonest.
That's how to get on the iggy list like me and sloop.
By the way, there's a difference between having disdain for ignorant/stupid people voters putting ignorant/stupid people into positions of power, and you celebrating your fellow police officers committing murder.
Don't insult baboons.
They can take it.
But they fling feces at you for doing so.
By "feces" I assume you mean "bullets", right?
stragiht up. a sewer like detroit, one that apparently has an even higher crime rate than statistics show (which is the entire point of hte article)...
a police agency within that sewer shoots and kills only 10 people in a given year. amidst that insanely high part I crime rate.
sorry, but all that shows is that detroit PD either are remarkably bad shots (be curious to see the ratio of suspects shot at vs. killed). usually, for officers, we see in many agencies well over a dozen officers shot at and well over 5 shot and hit for every officer killed - bulletproof vests, mindset, etc. all help
for suspects, the ratio is USUALLY more like 1/3 or so. i posted the san diego meta stats
again, good for detroit PD
a police agency within that sewer shoots and kills only 10 people in a given year. amidst that insanely high part I crime rate.
There's more to excessive force than just how many "civilians" cops shoot and kill. Not only that, but they've been accused of persistent cooking of the books IRT crime rate. Do you think for a moment they are correctly reporting every instance where UOF is questioned as excessive?
But that's OK. None of us expected you to do anything other than give blanket support of the thick blue wall, scumbag.
if Detroit goes off the fiscal cliff ? a distinct possibility in the next year without divine intervention ? so will their jobs.
And then- Teh PINKERTONS!
Corporate armies will roam the streets, and the gutters will be filled with blood. And the trains will run on time.
Corporate armies will roam the streets, and the gutters will be filled with blood.
Business as usual, then?
And the trains will run on time.
But with at least something on the upside!
It makes so much more sense to just put a bullet in his chest.
OFFICER SAFETY
detroit police dept: 10 officer involved homicides in 1 yr = restraint.
this is the sewer we are talking about: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/.....70708.html
Detroit also, per above link, ranked 2nd most dangerous city in america per capita.
21.4 /1000 violent crimes
(#1 was flint michigan)
thus, detroit was #1 amongst citites over 250k
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Detroit
This can't wait. Take the R train.
It's so cold in the D.
I really don't get all the over-the-top hatred for dunphy from the likes of sarcasmic and sloopy. Based on his comments, the guy is more reasonable and libertarian-friendly than about 80% of the U.S. population and probably 95% of U.S. police officers. You guys just come across as thin-skinned assholes who can't handle an ounce of ideological impurity. It's just not that crazy for somebody to defend the proposition that there were 10 justifiable homicides in a city as violent as Detroit.
He was originally given the benefit of the doubt before he earned our contempt.
rubbish. the first response i got, which lasted for months was that there was no way i was a cop. i was lying about being a cop
then, other stuff followed - like the hitler comparisons if i ever enforced a drug law (enforcing orders derp derp derp) etc. etc.
jordan, i appreciate your response. you will note that there are a small (but vocal) minority here that i do not discourse with. most people here imo have been entirely fair, given that libertarians are naturally going to have a kneejerk "ick" over the presence of a cop, since we tend to loathe authoritah, and cops are the agent of state authority that the average joe deals with. War on drugs, vehicle enforcement, whatever. it's us.
the vast majority of people here i have had great discussions with, and i've learned a lot from them, and changed my mind when what i learned conflicted with what i thought. that's partly why i come here. to learn.
since i started ignoring the very small, but very vocal group you refer to, it's become much much better. there is simply no point in engaging them, so I don't. tons of people here i can agree with and disagree with, but we do it civilly and i enjoy that.
again, most people here are totally cool and i enjoy the exchange
cheers
Lions and tigers and anti-cop bigots oh my!
Here's a simple test to determine whether or not you're a decent cop:
1. Have you ever let a cop go for something you arrested a "civilian" for (or have you witnessed it)?
2. Have you ever seen a cop use excessive force and fail to arrest him (or have you used excessive force yourself)?
3. Have you seen a cop commit a theft and let him get away with it (or have you done this yourself)?
4. Have you seen a cop manipulate evidence and let him get away with it (or have you done this yourself)?
5. Have you ever lied under oath as a police officer? Have you seen it done and not reported it?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are a bad cop because you place other cops above "civilians" and/or do not value equal protection.
Aw sloop, you're just an anti-cop bigot.
You don't understand how the job works, nor do you care to, because you're just an anti-cop bigot.
Besides, the vast majority of people trust the police, which puts you in a minority of anti-cop bigots.
Just the fact that you would even consider that the brave men who protect you from evil would even consider doing any of those things makes you an anti-cop bigot.
Did I mention the fact that you're just an anti-cop bigot?
I thought it was "bigorati"?
Having worked in law enforcement and the military, I am all too aware how imperfect both groups are - generalizations of goodness, heroism, etc should be shunned. I always shudder when I hear some remark about "our heroic _______". My next thought is "oh, what did he or she do that was heroic?" Putting on a uniform and strapping on a firearm does not make one a hero, nor does a badge or a military ID card. I have known exactly three heroes, personally, in my entire life - and tow of them would never go into great detail - I had to hear from others, and one I got the true story by pumping witnesses and getting the guy drunk and having him spill it.
/end of rant
Putting on a uniform and strapping on a firearm does not make one a hero
Aw, come on!
Next you're going to say that there exists a remote chance that a police shooting could be unjustified!
Hogwash!
You need to understand many of the things he's said on here. He has laughed and mocked victims of police brutality and unpunished murder on several occasions. He has often said cops should not be held personally accountable for knowing the law if they haven't specifically been trained on the law and routinely blames policy when individual officers use force that is over and above what any normal person would deem acceptable.
He's an apologist and does not believe in equal protection under the law. He lies and distorts the cases he holds up as examples of police being held to a higher standard and has on more than one occasion said he supports wholeheartedly double-standards whereby police officers are not held to the same standards as "civilians." As far as I'm concerned, he's been given every opportunity to defend his position that cops are better than "civilians" and he's never failed to do so.
He's perhaps a good cop, by the standards we've all come to sadly accept. That still doesn't make him a good cop by standards any decent liberty-minded person would go by. So what if he's pro-drug. He's also pro-immunity and pro-internal punishment (vs prosecution). He's scum.
Well, there was that one thread about the guy who answered the door at 2 AM with a gun in his hand deserved to be shot down, with a gratuitous "Fuck him" thrown in.
And there is his persistent blindness to the double standard for cops and other members of the Master Class.
So that kind of thing pisses people off, but other than that, he talks a good game, yeah.
Yeah, lest we forget his finest hour.
Like I said. His contempt was earned.
He refered to himself as "an unmitigated force for good."
WTF?
Good ol' "Eagleheart" Dunphy.
Hey, lay off Detroit. Them people is going through Mad Max times.
Time to nuke the site from orbit.....only wsy to be sure!
You guys just come across as thin-skinned assholes who can't handle an ounce of ideological impurity.
That motherfucker defends outright murder, as long as it was a cop who pulled the trigger.
Fuck him. I hope he really does have cancer.
=-)
"I hope he really does have cancer"
I can't do that - I am supposed to love mine enemies, and this guy doesn't rate 'enemy' even. But I can say that I don't mind the rhetorical thrashing he seems to get, when earned.
i really don't see any rhetorical thrashing. and since i started ignoring the 5-6 people that aren't worth it, all i've seen are interesting conversations. there is no way some anonymous nerdy troll is going to get to me with "die in a fire" or other such shit, when as a matter of my career, i routinely deal with death threats etc. from actual bad-assess, with like murder convictions and stuff. how many arrestees have threatened to fucking blow me away, fuck my mother bla bla bla. cmon. if that doesn't bother me, a bunch of silly kids on the internet who can finally get back for all those times they were picked on in high school by the "cool kids", by making dumb comments , certainly are not going to get to me.
i'd actually enjoy GOOD potent discourse. i get that at volokh.com as i said all the time. we can disagree, but do so civilly, and people actually BACK UP their POV's with data, case law , etc.
most of the people here are totally cool, though
i really don't see any rhetorical thrashing. and since i started ignoring the 5-6 people that give a rhetorical thrashing.
coward
It's easy to take criticism when you pretend it doesn't exist.
pussy
jordan et al, here's the other point i forgot to make. if i didn't have the comparative data from volokh.com in terms of the reactions i get and a few other places, i might need to take the trolls here seriously.
at sites like volokh.com which are libertarian blogs, and run by some of the most respected lawyers in the country, cited by the supreme court, etc., i have NEVER had the kind of ridiculous trollish reaction i get here. people ask my opinion, respect it, and vice versa. they recognize, and these are guys who write friggin' briefs that are read by the highest court in the land, that my viewpoint is rational and backed up by solid argumentation. we may disagree, and we do, on various issues, but as long as i get positive feedback from SERIOUS and also - NON anonymous people like that, it gives me complete confidence that HERE, it's not "me", it's them.
it's a community where people can disagree and agree, but do so without stuff like "die in a fire, pig". like i am supposed to take seriously somebody who responds to me by exhorting me to die in a fire? lol
nobody there accuses me of reflexively cop apologizing. because i don't do that. many times i am more critical of the police than the libertarian blogger. but the difference is people there respect rule of law and equality of treatment. imo, they don't let their hatred (if they have any) infect their reason.
i appreciate posts from people like jordan, and also as long as the SANE people and i can discourse respectfully, i am not going to give the insane ones the benefit of the doubt. they are clearly the trolls.
here, if somebody has special knowledge or experience, i respect that and will often defer to it. the trolls here would never do the same with me. i understand that. cops are just dumb, thuggish brutes. they will never get past that
cheers
Whatever, fuckhead. You call me a troll? I'll put my reputation against yours any day of the week.
You come here for confirmation and whine like a little bitch when we call you out on your double-standards and hypocrisy. Cops like you are a dime a dozen, and unfortunately, you probably are a good cop relative to the usual scum that carry badges. But you make excuses for the bad ones and don't hold them to account for their criminal/immoral acts, instead hiding behind procedures and union contracts.
That's part of why you are roundly despised around here. Because you should know better, and you actually do know better yet refuse to take your co-workers to task when they break the law.
Look, if I or anybody else here supported serial lawbreakers/immoral actors in our chosen profession, we would be booted out of it and forever shamed. I know I would never work again, but the culture of corruption in your chosen profession only gets worse and worse because people like you that ought to do something about it refuse to, because they are cowards.
oh, btw, it's the trolls here who have disdain for "civilian" not me. numerous posts about how "90% of people are stupid" and stuff like that, and how most americans are dumb. those come from others, not me.
when i talk about sewers like detroit, i am referring to the scumbags who live within. they are the ones victimizing the good people. and the good people VASTLY outnumber the scumbags. most people i deal with are not "stupid", and unlike the attitude here, i think our country is full of great people and that most people deserve respect, nor scorn.
if there is one thing i have learned from 20+ yrs of patrol, detective, undercover etc. work, it's that people are overwhelmingly good, fair, loving and reasonable.
numerous posts about how "90% of people are stupid" and stuff like that, and how most americans are dumb. those come from others, not me.
You want to support me saying that with a little evidence, asshole? I've never called a murder victim a "moron" or said "fuck him".
And by the way, I'll be happy to rehash the physical evidence of that shooting. The cop's story simply cannot be squared with the evidence. But as long as his co-workers said it was justified, it must have been, right?
But as long as his co-workers said it was justified, it must have been, right?
How could it be otherwise? Cops never lie. Ever. They don't falsify evidence, they don't cover for each other, they don't get into a huddle to get their stories straight before writing it down, they never do any of those things. That's what criminals do.
Cops are honest.
this guy was a fucking moron begging to get shot
and he has nobody to blame but his stupid ass-dead self
seriously, only funhouse mirror reason bigots could even consider that this guy didn't bring about his own demise.
but he made a fucking moronic decision and he paid the price.
this guy was a fucking moron begging to get shot. (second time)
The thread gors on and on and on. And in case you're still here, Jordan, he was referring to a man that answered a knock at his door with his handgun at 1:30 AM by cops out of uniform that did not identify themselves and were hiding out of view. Oh, and just so you know...it was the wrong fucking door.
...and nothing else happened.
This reminds me of dunphy bringing up that case where the cop got a slightly stiffer sentence than a "civilian" would have over the weekend again. Of course, I still had the link that shows where the cop was likely undercharged and had a violent past with the victim that he had plead guilty to. Strange that he disappeared like a fart in a hurricane then as well.
"he disappeared like a fart in a hurricane"
I actually like that a bit better than the "fart in a thunderstorm" I normally use!
I'm still waiting for the multitude of examples where cops who commit crimes while in uniform are held to a higher standard than mere civilians.
He has produced a few items of cops being prosecuted for things they did on their off hours, but nothing for the crimes they commit on the job.
lol, who cares about Tiger Woods, the dude cheated on his gf, seriously who cares.

Uh, anonbot, wrong site - ESPN is espn.go.com.
you are welcome.
