Reason TV: LAPD Raids Occupy LA
The Los Angeles Police Department raided Occupy LA in the early morning hours of November 30, 2011. There were more than 200 arrests made by the 1,400 officers on hand to clear out the park surrounding Los Angeles City Hall.
Reason.tv was on the scene when the raid happened and documented what may be the end of Occupy LA's encampment, but the beginning of a new chapter in the movement.

I renew my objection to reason's support of these quasi-criminal rioting socialists known as Occutards.
Or, as the memebuilder tells me, "Freebaggers", which works pretty well.
I liked "Flea Baggers", better than "Freebaggers".
Rights apply to people you don't like, otherwise they're worthless.
Did I say anything about rights?
No?
So what are you talking about again?
Remember the good old days, when libertarianism was all about standing foursquare against the ignorant mob forces of economic redistributionism, and resolute opposition to ever-increasing governmental authority over the individual?
*siiiighhh* I do...
Yeah, I too find it hard to see what a libertarian would find appealing about these ignorant, undereducated worshippers of top-down centralized crony socialism.
There is not any argument that reason was founded on Objectivist principles.
Remember this?:
You know its funny that OWS is pissing and moaning about what the police are doing considering that left wing statist ideology advocates that the goverment do things that are good for us even though we might not want them
what right were these folks denied? They assembled, they spoke out, no one tried to censor them, no one jailed them for what they had to say. There is, however, no right to free camping, no right to commandeering land you do not own, and no right to provoke folks with guns.
I support Occupy for being a place where people who like to rape, rob, masturbate and shit in public, and go months without a shower can live together away from me. It's harder to avoid them after they have been dispersed back into society.
a place where people who like to rape, rob, masturbate and shit in public
"PRESENT!!!"
But why can't we establish a more permanent set of camps in which these people can concentr -- err, congregate?
So, liquidate these ghettos?
Occupy the ghettos!
Adam Carolla goes off on these losers.

Is that last "bam, there you go" guy Jonah Hill?
Maybe they should have just left them there to wallow in their own filth. Since many of them are anti-vaccine, anti-corporate paranoids, natural selection would kick in and wipe them out with disease.
I wonder why they are not amazed that the government hasn't flown a plane into them yet.
Communicable diseases tend not to respect police barricades.
The Spectator correctly pointed out yesterday that they have an ideology identical to that of the German Brown Shirts. Luckily they lack the guts and competence.
LA Police Forced to Wear HAZMAT Suits to Clean Up Filth at #Occupy LA Camp
Not the end result of reasoned, principled "protest" so much as it is the inevitable aftermath of Ape Law.
Not. Cool. Did Chuck Heston complain about filth in our streets? No.
"Take your stinking paws off me, you damn dirty ape!"
IMDB PWN'D!
Yeah, right. I've been the monkey house, at the zoo. I've seen what you guys do with handfuls of poo, whenever you get good'n'pissed off. Tell me another one, Lancelot Link.
What a bunch of pathetic losers. What 99% are these clowns representing?
Oh, for those who don't remember. This is basically the same crowd who protested against the Iraq War.
The editing work on this was Grade A, #1.
There is nothing quite as funny as watching the two hippy morons (at about 1:30) lament being labelled as "left wing", "liberal", and "fringe", then immediately cutting back to the psycho "I say something, you repeat it like you're saying your wedding vows" talk from the deadbeat in the blue jacket and brown sock hat.
Why don't they go rent a big group of campsites from KOA?
thanks
