  1. Shouldn’t there be an embed or a link?

  2. What does it matter that one side wants to ban a certain type of free speech, as opposed to the other prohibiting what they find objectionable. Ultimately, It has the same chilling effect.

  3. E. Volokh is the Beethoven law blogging.

    1. He looks like the kid from Mad Magazine

  4. I had no Idea what he looked like till now. Completely threw me for a loop.

    1. I know… it’s like, did this kid just come in from recess?

  5. I know why you moved the conversation from the 1st to the 2nd amendment: So you had an excuse to post shots of Yvonne Strahovski running around in a tight dress.

  6. This was a well reasoned and therefore an informative show on gun rights.

  7. It is pretty difficult for me to comprehend why there is any debate at all with respect the 1st Amendment. It is absurd and ridiculous to claim you support the 1st if you also advocate censorship of speech or expression you don’t approve of. This is what pisses me off – if you don’t actually believe in and accept the BOR, just friggin’ say so. Just say “No, I don’t really believe in free speech.” and “No, I don’t believe that the right to keep and bear arms should not be infringed.” Just don’t pretend to support the principles on which the country was found when you actually don’t. Don’t continue with the faux debate charade that these things are matters of interpretation.

  8. So 25 years ago I was working at Children’s Hospital in Oakland, California, “Oaktown.” And living in a marginal area, which we called “Baja Piedmont.” One day, my pal George Kwong, a former DIA agent, came into my office with a briefcase, opened it and showed me five handguns, including two revolvers and three automatics, from “mouse guns” to Wonder Nines. This was after I had walked in on a burglary and damned near got shot by the perps. “Get yourself some of these,” George told me. “And this is how you can carry without any ‘print-through,’ any weapon showing through your coat or jacket…” And he told me not to bother with a Concealed Carry Permit, because the Chief of Police wouldn’t give me one anyway. Best advice I ever got regarding the Second Amendment, and also gave me more confidence about exercising the First!

  9. Interesting that the legislators attempting to restrict D.C. guns all live in Chevy Chase were one doesn’t need one. Make ’em all live down on “I” street and they’ll change their minds in a muggers heartbeat.

  10. Yeah i belive in freedom of speach, madness!

  11. It is interesting and informative article. Thank you.

  12. When you are reading the newspaper, you may just skip the section of finance. In fact you may think that finance is not something related to your. Yes if you are not actively involved in the financial market you do not need to bother about most of the things about finance. However, there are still something that you should know about. They will actually affect your personal financial situation! Nike Dunk sneakers
