The Heritage Guide to the Constitution is best understood as a high-profile project of the conservative legal movement, a project deeply intertwined with Republican-aligned institutions and agendas, and explicitly committed to originalism. It is an effort to institutionalize and disseminate one strain of constitutional interpretation.
