United States v. United Liquors Corp., 77 S.Ct. 208 (decided September 19, 1956): Reed denies stay of antitrust judgment prohibiting defendants from "entering into or adhering to any fair trade contract which purports to fix or control the resale price of any alcoholic beverage in the Memphis trading area for five years", despite argument that they would lose business to other liquor sellers who were not bound by this restriction

Re: Prof. Volokh's blog, 9/14/22, about Yeshiva Univ. v. YU Pride Alliance (SC kicked back YU's petition to state courts about having LGBT student club)
Yeshiva University cancels all clubs after it was ordered to allow an LGBTQ group
Yeshiva University says it's pausing all student clubs on campus just days after the U.S. Supreme Court refused to block a lower court ruling that ordered the school to recognize an LGBTQ group.
In an unsigned email to students, the New York City school said that, considering upcoming Jewish holidays, "the university will hold off on all undergraduate club activities while it immediately takes steps to follow the roadmap provided by the US Supreme Court to protect YU's religious freedom. Warm wishes for a Shannah Tovah."

As I said before, since YU is a private school, they should be able to run their clubs according to their rules (however meshuggeneh they may be).
Interesting the Powell has traditionally been labelled a moderate instead of a strong supporter of corporate prerogatives.
Of course, there's some pushback against that characterization, emphasizing the Powell Memo, but the conventional wisdom pegs him as a moderate because of his cultural-issue rulings.
He was the public face of the Federalist Society. In fact whenever I see the pic posted here I think of their flyers in law school (circa 1990). They wouldn’t even let him in the door today.
By showcasing that Roe-voting judge the the Federalist Society showed it wasn't prolife, but procorporation.
