Firearms Law textbook: 2015 supplement now available
The 2015 supplement for my textbook "Firearms Law and the Second Amendment" is now available from Aspen Publishers, on the publisher's page for the book. It is accessible to professors who are registered users of the book, who can provide it to their students. The supplement covers the many developments since the textbook's publication in 2012. Co-authors are Nicholas J. Johnson (Fordham University), George A. Mocsary (Southern Illinois University) and Michael P. O'Shea (Oklahoma City University).
The print version of the textbook contains 11 chapters, and is available from Amazon, among other places. In addition, there are four online chapters, which are available to the public, for free, on the authors' Web site for the book. These free online chapters are: Chapter 12, Social Science; Chapter 13, International Law; Chapter 14, Comparative Law; and Chapter 15, In-Depth Explanation of Firearms and Ammunition. Also, the Web site includes lengthy podcasts, including ones on each of the first seven chapters of the printed book.
Here is the Table of Contents for the 2015 Supplement. (Cover graphic here.) The cases are followed by extensive Notes and Discussion Questions which extend the subject beyond the excerpted case.
