Gestapo Administration
Plus: Fertility rate collapse, New York Times angers liberals, Met Gala picketing, and more...

Trump's creative comparisons: At a donor retreat in Florida on Saturday, former President Donald Trump—who is facing 88 criminal charges from four separate indictments—delivered a 75-minute broadside that compared the Biden administration to Nazis.
"These people are running a Gestapo administration," said Trump. "And it's the only thing they have. And it's the only way they're going to win, in their opinion, and it's actually killing them. But it doesn't bother me."
The Gestapo comments were in reference to Trump's "complaint that [President Joe] Biden's White House is behind the multiple criminal prosecutions of the presumptive GOP nominee, including his ongoing hush money and fraud trial in New York and additional cases stemming from his efforts to overturn the 2020 election," reports the Associated Press.
"This was a short comment deep into the thing that wasn't really central to what he was talking about," said North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum (who, if you recall, was running for the GOP nomination early in the cycle) on a Sunday panel for CNN. "A majority of Americans feel like the trial that he's in right now is politically motivated."
Trump peppered in some more points as well. "When you are Democrat, you start off essentially at 40 percent because you have civil service, you have the unions and you have welfare," said Trump at another point in the speech. "And don't underestimate welfare. They get welfare to vote, and then they cheat on top of that—they cheat."
As usual with Trump, there's a tiny bit of truth nestled between the lies and exaggerations: Union members and poor people who rely on government handouts are disproportionately Democrat voters. The point is made even more salient by Biden's repeated yet ill-fated attempts at student loan forgiveness, which looks like an obvious ploy to win over younger voters, prudence (and legality of the policy) be damned.
Trump's frequent allegations that Democrats cheated to win the 2020 election, on the other hand, are not well-substantiated. The courts have repeatedly considered the question of whether Democrats committed voter fraud in the aftermath of the 2020 election, with outcomes that have been decidedly unfavorable to the "stolen election" types, across all jurisdictions and considered by judges of all political persuasions. (Dear readers, before sending me hate mail for this point, please do take the time to read some substantial number of the 12 links I inserted above.)
Scenes from New York: Went to Streecha in the East Village this weekend.

"More akin to eating at someone's home than a formal restaurant, Streecha—run by volunteers and considered a hub for Ukrainian immigrants—serves a small menu of Ukrainian favorites," reports Eater.
"An extension of the nearby St. George's Ukrainian Catholic Church, the money Streecha makes from food orders serves as a fundraiser for it."
Really solid, easy on the budget, and full of information about the war effort in Ukraine. My toddler loved the holubtsi (and being cooed over by old ladies).
QUICK HITS
- The Israeli military has started telling civilians to move out of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip—a sign that it is soon to start carrying out a long-predicted attack in that region.
- New birth/fertility-rate data just dropped. Some highlights: Chile is down 20 percent, Macao down 16 percent (for a shockingly low total fertility rate of 0.59), Hungary down 9 percent (but the total fertility rate there remains high, possibly in part because it has tried to engineer a baby boom via tax breaks). All in all, very little good news for those concerned—as I am—about dropping fertility rates.
- Tonight is the Met Gala. Employees of Condé Nast, which puts on the event, are threatening to picket.
- "A hyped venture space only exists after the winning company in that space has already been created, discovered, funded, and become popular," writes Trae Stephens for Pirate Wires. "The very existence of the space proves the search for a winning investment is already over. This is the reality of venture investing, and the herd behavior operating in open defiance of this reality is necessarily limiting fund returns while denying capital to promising companies simply because they aren't on trend."
- "There are people out there in the world who may decide, based on their democratic rights, to elect Donald Trump as president," New York Times executive editor Joe Kahn told Semafor's Ben Smith. "It is not the job of the news media to prevent that from happening. It's the job of Biden and the people around Biden to prevent that from happening." Naturally, the peanut gallery of angry liberals has positively exploded at Kahn for…speaking truth.
- "Israel ordered the local offices of Qatar's Al Jazeera satellite news network to close Sunday, escalating a long-running feud between the broadcaster and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's hard-line government as Doha-mediated cease-fire negotiations with Hamas hang in the balance," reports Politico.
- Not good:
Russian forces are now deployed next to withdrawing US troops in Niamey. This supports CTP's assessment that Russian troops will also backfill the US base in northern Niger, which will create several long-term opportunities for the Kremlin to strategically threaten Europe. 1/9???? https://t.co/mWtWuvBHl8 pic.twitter.com/80ToSFGD2I

These people are running a Gestapo administration...
You know who else?
They didn't refute it. As with most Trump conspiracies, we hear how crazy he is, but nobody ever seems to push back on the facts. I wonder why?
I've multiple times asked folks who hate Trump for his personality "can you name one thing he said you find offensive or disgusting to you" and I swear they never can.
Most I've seen can at least rub their two braincells together to remember Grab 'em by the pussy.
I've never seen one of them get what he actually said right though.
Taking Trump literally, sure, he's Hitler, literally. Taking Biden and the woke crowd literally, hell no, only literal Hitlers do that!
"Most I’ve seen can at least rub their two braincells together to remember Grab ’em by the pussy."
Can you provide the FULL quote?
So you’re talking about 6.2 trillion-dollar bill. Nothing like that. And this will deliver urgently needed relief to our nation’s families, workers, and businesses. And that’s what this is all about.
- Donald Trump, signing Cares Act.
I find this statement to be offensive and disgusting while also having an aversion to Trump's personality.
I don’t watch FoxNews, any of their shows, but I would occasionally catch a few minutes of Sean Hannity on talk radio when he was on the radio (is he still on the radio? I stopped listening to that particular station when Boortz retired and I also stopped needing the traffic news every 5 minutes.) Didn’t really care for the show, but when I got in the car to go home, it was still tuned to the talk station I listened to on the way to work, so I would accidentally catch some of the show before I remembered I didn’t really want to listen.
I was in a car with a fried some years back and mentioned something that I had heard in the 3 minutes my radio was left on Hannity’s show. He made a face and said “Sean Hannity…that little ball of racism.”
I asked him why he would say that. Was there something he heard Hannity say or something he read about Hannity that gave him that opinion. He said that he had never heard any of Hannity’s show, would never ever watch it or listen to it. He said that he was not actually aware of a reason why he decided to proclaim Hannity was racist. “But everyone knows he is…he’s on Fox News.”
So I asked: “do you watch Fox News”? Have you seen anything in particular on Fox News to make you say that Fox News is racist? Pretty much the same answers. “Everybody knows Fox News is full of racists.”
I think he might have realized the point I was trying to make, and was prepared to keep pushing. But at that point, my wife knew what was about to happen and she said “Stop talking about that. Let it go, both of you.”
Maybe 20 years ago I would listen to Hannity on the radio, but he was just background noise. I thought I liked him but I'd absorb only a couple sentences of a 40 minute commute. One day when I actually started to pay attention to him, I realized he was an absolute windbag and I've disliked him ever since.
I don't think I ever heard anything out of him I would call evidence of racism, though.
I don't think he's a racist. He's just a moron.
You would be one to know, Jeff.
It's the same issue I have with most Fox News 'hosts' who also venture into talk radio. Most of them are mental midgets, but it doesn't take much intelligence to make the left wing types look idiotic as it turns out.
I suppose that should be expected given the that intellectual underpinnings of most left wing thought, at least as the left is understood today, is mostly wishcasting nonsense or outright disseminated talking points from the government itself.
and I swear they never can.
No, they have. It's just that the offensive things that he says aren't actually offensive to you.
When he says illegal immigrants are "poisoning the blood of the nation", that is offensive to most people but not to you.
When he compares fellow citizens to "vermin", that is offensive to most people, but not to you.
What is genuinely offensive is his entire demagogic campaign against people less powerful than him, and then he claims to be the victim whenever anyone pushes back.
When he says the current admin is gestapo, how is that aimed at people less powerful? You like to get hung up on out of context, media edited blurbs, but not direct hits to the gangsters in the Whitehouse.
C'mon, tell us all how Trump is wrong about the gestapo running the country.
I'm just glad they aren't going after him like a bear on trunked-up charges.
When he says the current admin is gestapo, how is that aimed at people less powerful?
It's not. I didn't say EVERY comment he makes is demagoguery against the less powerful.
What I am referring to, specifically, is crap like this:
https://www.cnn.com/2024/04/03/politics/fact-check-trump-falsely-claims-us-crime-stats-are-only-going-up-most-went-down-last-year-including-massive-drop-in-murder/index.html
He is claiming that the rise in crime in this country is due to Venezuelan immigrants. He is scapegoating them and unfairly targeting them. He does this all the time, he denigrates people less powerful than him in order to score cheap points and win more power for himself.
What if Biden had said "Crime is up in the country because the hillbillies in red states are meth-heads who rob convenience stores to support their habits, and if Trump is elected, that will continue"? Do you think that is fair? Of course not. That is the type of crap that Trump does all the time though.
it's cute you believe crime stats went down.
He doesn’t. He knows he’s repeating lies.
that's even worse.
He’s not called “Lying Jeffy” for nothing.
"Lying Jeffy" isn't just an appellation, it's also a description.
Look, you’re not supposed to believe the local news and your lying eyes, you’re supposed to believe stats from an official source like the government. (And pay no attention to all of the DA’s declining to press charges against certain groups of people based on racist bullshit.)
Biden would not be completely wrong.
Yeah, here in the emerald city, some 300+ recent burglaries are being blamed on South American immigrant gangs.
Of course the media here is really racist against newcomers, so I’m sure it’s just a diversion away from the real criminals, white guys.
Lol. You’re the worst, Jeff.
Our country sheriff is having a town hall regarding SA gangs.
that is offensive to most people but not to you.
Cite?
We didn't need you to say that you and people similar to you have thin skins, we knew that.
Do you mean all the people with "thin skins" who don't want to be called an insurrectionist because they participated in the Jan. 6 riot?
Or maybe because the only real insurrectionists on the hill that day were the FBI and DHS agent provocateurs and Pelosi?
Wait chemjeff...was it a riot, or an insurrection? I am confused. 🙂
Look. At a minimum we know they were trespassers who deserved to be shot. Just ask Jeff.

What is there to talk about?
.
From a libertarian perspective, Ashli Babbett was trespassing, and the officers were totally justified to shoot trespassers. Again from a libertarian perspective, the officers would have been justified in shooting every single trespasser. That would not have been wise or prudent, of course.
.
They were all trespassers trying to be where they weren’t supposed to be.
Jeff was pretty unhinged that day, even defending the 2017 riots.
I honestly don't know why the ranchers in Texas haven't converted some of their properties over to private shooting ranges with No Trespassing signs, inviting their guests to help them protect their property from trespassers.
Notice how when left wingers riot jeffey is very concerned about parsing every group to minimize the problem, completely omitting facts when it helps present the issue as minor. But when right wingers riot he maximizes every accusation.
If you were on site during the 2020 riots you were a peaceful protester caught up in the actions of a handful or people while wearing your all-blacks and lighting fires for camaraderie. If you were on site Jan 6 you're simply an insurrectionist.
He can't reach his conclusions using consistent standards so he changes them whenever necessary. It's not like he's going to change conclusions.
Jeff is a stupid bigot, water is wet.
Not news.
As I've said many times, if your democracy cannot survive Trump (or his supporters), then it isn't worth defending on its own merits.
The only reason people care is because the law separates punishment by noun.
Here’s Lying Jeffy equating having your feelings hurt by mean tweets to getting thrown in prison for years for protesting.
Because yes, he is that dishonest.
I’m not sure, I don’t think he actually sees the difference.
He is rather dumb, but c’mon.
It wasn't offensive to you when Biden, Obama, and Clinton did it.
"When he compares fellow citizens to “vermin”'
You disingenuous liar! You know damn well he was talking about illegals, who by definition are not citizens!
I don’t call him Lying Jeffy for nothing.
It's certainly an appropriate epithet.
Disney?
New York Times?
Hitler! It was Hitler. What's my prize?
It doesn’t work like that.
You know what else doesn’t work like that?
Hitler?
Damnit.
it's Hitler, right? what's his ^^ prize?

Pro-Hamas protesters...some of their leaders:
Khymani James
A leader of students protesting the war in Gaza at Columbia University has apologised after video emerged of him saying "Zionists don't deserve to live".
Khymani James, 20, said he was "unusually upset" and "misspoke in the heat of the moment".
Mr James, who has acted as a spokesman for the protesters, posted the comments to Instagram in January. He also said: "Be grateful that I'm not just going out and murdering Zionists."
The comments were made both before and after Columbia administrators called him in for a disciplinary hearing.
"I don't fight to injure or for there to be a winner or a loser, I fight to kill," he said in a post.
James Carlson
According to the Daily Mail, the mastermind behind the recent Columbia University protests has been identified as James Carlson, a 40-year-old with a rather privileged background.
Shockingly, it turns out he's not just any protester, but someone unrelated to the students, married, and the son of millionaire advertising executives.
James, also recognized as Cody Carlson or Cody Tarlow, gained attention following his arrest by the NYPD on charges that included burglary and illegal entry during the Columbia protests.
This wasn't his initial brush with the law. Allegedly, he has been associated with anarchist circles for a considerable period and was previously apprehended during the tumultuous G8 protests in San Francisco back in 2005, as per the New York Post.
Adding to the intrigue, James is reportedly married to model Kim Heyrman and resides in a lavish Brooklyn brownstone worth $3.4 million, where he enjoys family life with his two children.
His involvement in the Columbia protests hasn't gone unnoticed. He's suspected of burning an Israeli flag during the demonstrations, and his activism extends to previous incidents of blocking bridges and tunnels, according to NBC News.
A reader online slammed James for his involvement in the protests and wrote, "He should be sitting in jail with unknown charges like the J6 people. I'm sure they will love him there. But I'm sure Bragg let him out with an apology and a ride home."
Another user wrote, "Individuals that have so much wealth that they think they should be able to overcome and put aside our representative government to force their will on others. Their egos will never allow them to accept the fact that they have ONE VOTE just like everyone else."
A user commented, "It is always the well to do that support these causes because it makes them feel good. They don't care about the plight of the people who are living under horrible conditions. If they did they would do a better job."
Another user commented, "Those with money have the time to protest and make themselves feel relevant. Any hot cause will do.most of us are just trying trying to put food on our table. I would be willing to bet he hasn't given much money. They never do -just throws a tantrum like an immature 14-year-old. I hope they make him pay for all the destruction."
A user stated, "Each individual who stormed the building should be sued for the damages - when the get out of jail a year or two from now."
Another user stated, "It looks like Columbia has someone to send the bill to for all the damage, cleanup, and repairs that will be required."
Funding for these protest brought to you by the Rockefeller and Tides foundations.
https://www.ngo-monitor.org/reports/ngo-network-orchestrating-antisemitic-incitement-on-american-campuses/
And with folks like Open Societies and Soros.
https://www.politico.com/news/2024/05/05/pro-palestinian-protests-columbia-university-funding-donors-00156135
Don't forget, Tides is Soros, too.
That unrepentant old Nazi really does have a finger in every pie.
So is it anti-Semitic to point out that George Soros is funding anti-Semitic groups?
"...don't deserve to live."
Now where have I heard such "outrageous" words before?
From your side in reference to anyone right of Mao?
My "side" is right-libertarian. I have seen few actual libertarians advocating the extermination of their enemies. Mostly just the Reason-occupying rightwing lunatics here (but, as young Mr. James illustrates, it is also apparent that leftwing lunatics have a similar mindset).
Not exactly hardened revolutionaries. This loser reminds me of Patty Hearst with a penis. Wealth in search of purpose or just bored unless he’s investing in another “ popular front” dark side.
Another fraud with a bogus cause, Hearst at least had the excuse of being shanghaied by her fellow travelers, the SLA. Stockholm syndrome in slow motion. This guy seems in search of any syndrome.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m all for a good old-fashioned government protest, the less government the better, but this act is producing diminishing returns. It just ain’t the 60s, kids.
You can generally rank a revolution or even a mass protest on colleges by the quality of the women involved. Feelings ( over) drive the zealots. The boys nearby are just looking to get laid.
But what we see today are mostly are a bunch of masked Cassandras taking selfies, too many that look like meal sacks with a rope about their waists, and bumptious loudmouths wearing jockstraps-or something close.
Where’s Che Guevara when you need him.
The Gestapo comments were in reference to Trump's "complaint that [President Joe] Biden's White House is behind the multiple criminal prosecutions of the presumptive GOP nominee...
More of a banana republic move, but who's splitting hairs.
Gestapo 2: The Argentine Years.
Aren't we into "Gestapo: The Revenge (This Time It's Personal)"?
Pretty sure it's Gestapo Six: Secret Police in Paradise. The almost straight to video sequel with the original star refusing to take part in it.
Could these people make their association with Hitler any clearer???
Scenes from Gaza:
Armed Gazan gangs, some thought tied to Hamas, steal $70 million from Bank of Palestine
French daily Le Monde reports funds taken from the vaults of several branches in the Strip by groups armed with explosives, commandos who answer to ‘Gaza’s highest authorities’
Gaza's loss is Argentina's gain?
They had $70 million in a bank in Gaza?
That's got to be a fraction of what's been laundered through the UN and their NGO partners to Palestine.
You think they were given mainly cash?
And seriously, what kind of corrupt government or quangovernment official parks their newfound personal wealth in a potential war zone? Have they not heard of Switzerland?
Hamas is the kind of group who would be willing to do exactly that, don’t kid yourself. The U.N. is capable of giving cash directly.
When you are Democrat, you start off essentially at 40 percent because you have civil service, you have the unions and you have welfare...
Almost as though cultivating reliance on the state was to their political advantage.
New rule: when you take a government job or welfare check you give up the right to vote.
(More reasonable new rule: everyone votes weighted by net taxes paid, corrected for government source income.)
I would drop the Senate as an archaic leftover of when the US was a union of sovereign states, now honored only in justifying double jeopardy.
Then add more chambers, similar to the House of Representatives, but with representation based on
* acres of land, since preservation in the face of erosion, fires, etc is a huge job.
* tax dependants, who are otherwise unrepresented.
* taxes paid to that jurisdiction, so don't add SALT, property taxes, etc.
Require 2/3 in every chamber to pass new legislation, but only 1/2 in any chamber to repeal legislation.
Get rid of the President altogether. Congress has to approve all those senior officers, and hauls them in for grilling all the time. They can't have two bosses; I'd rather Congress take that responsibility since they like the grandstanding that goes with it.
The point is not to be "fairer" to those constituencies, but to get better consensus.
Look at the guy who thinks he’s smarter than the founding fathers.
In some fairness, what the founding fathers put on paper is not what we're doing today so it's already a moot point on that issue.
Considering what existed at the time, they did a damned fine job. They even tried to put in some checks and balances. But they didn't allow for the statists like Hamilton and Adams to be such gung ho counter revolutionaries, and we've had 200+ years to learn from their first draft.
It's 200+ years of workarounds and loopholes leading right up to today. Although in at least some fairness most of the absolute garbage that put us in this mess is directly attributable to one or two administrations from the early to mid 1900's. FDR in particular, but he wasn't alone.
Yes. Unfortunately, just as we have learned how statists operate, so have they learned what they can get away with when they are in charge. The only real solution is something that lets individual people hold them to account. My fav is get a dozen people in individual rooms to write down what a proposed law does, and if ANY of them disagree with the others, or if ANY say it is unconstitutional, the law is void.
But of course the powers that be are terrified of individuals having any say in the matter.
Yeah, you can see how that's worked out for jury trials in the U.S. as well. Cherry picked juries and straight up plea bargains, and if you want to hand out jury nullification pamphlets in front of the court you get arrested.
"and if you want to hand out jury nullification pamphlets in front of the court you get arrested"
Nothing will change as long as you are paralyzed by the fear of being arrested. Take a page from the American students. They've been arrested in their thousands, and, one day, their universities will divest from Israel, just they did from South Africa.
Aren't those same students demanding total amnesty for their actions?
Tell me more about their courage and how all of the problems in the entire ME are due to that one small Jewish state.
"Aren’t those same students demanding total amnesty for their actions?"
I guess they feel that getting arrested and brutalized by the police is punishment enough. But it's society that will decide in the end whether there is any amnesty. Will they be shunned as terrorists or praised for standing up to injustice? Time will tell.
"Tell me more about their courage "
Putting your personal safety, your college career and your future into question over moral commitment requires courage. Some recklessness too, which is why it's basically a young person's thing.
"how all of the problems in the entire ME are due to that one small Jewish state."
Some of them are - basically the problems arising from Israel's inability or unwillingness to deal with the issue of refugees, which has been around since 1948. Other problems dictatorial monarchies and plutocrats abound, Kurdish national aspirations, Sunni/Shia divide, lopsidedly extractive economies, human rights violations, fundamentalist Muslims and Jews running the show and so on. Israel's problems are of special concern as it's strongly tied to American interests and by far the biggest recipient of foreign aid. The Islamist regime in Iran on the other hand has for decades been subject to an ever growing list of economic and diplomatic sanctions.
The biggest reason not to change the constitution now is that there is an approximately 0% chance that it would be rewritten to be more effective at constraining government than the original.
Sad but true.
No. instead go back to recognizing that the US is a union of sovereign states.
no, your first rule was better and more reasonable.
Starship Trooper rule: only veterans get to vote.
Those who fund the military get to vote, otherwise it is indentured servitude.
Some pointy bug the size of a 7-11 is tearing me to pieces but dammit I got to vote.
I have bad knees, a bad back, am cynical and generally pessimistic as hell, sarcastic, with a dark sense of humor. I guess those were worth it to vote.
Minor nitpick, but you could earn the franchise without military service, at least in the book anyway.
Seems fine to me. I also think you shouldn't have to pay taxes to whichever level of government employs you. No taxation without representation. Though really just on a practical level it is silly to pay someone from your budget and then ask for a percentage of that back to the budget afterwards
But also no representation without taxation.
From a practical level reducing the number of special cases to be handled is preferred.
They get welfare to vote, and then they cheat on top of that—they cheat.
Oh, please. Dead people haven't voted in cities like Chicago for months now.
Joe Kahn spoke the truth. Media in the UK knows it too, having seen several leaders forced out recently, and providing this lovely take on Joe Biden "America’s somnambulant president"...
--------------
"Wokeism. Climate extremism. Kindly authoritarianism. This is now the operating system of Western, ‘centrist’ politics. Take Joe Biden, America’s somnambulant president. At the 2020 election, even anti-woke liberals insisted this scion of the old Democratic establishment – a man so old he can’t even be slurred as a Boomer (he’s actually Silent Generation) – was the man to return America to normality, before the BLM riots and MAGA mania. ‘If you hate wokeness, you should vote for Joe Biden’, declared a piece in the Atlantic, arguing that Trump is to the culture war what kerosene is to a dumpster fire, fueling the woke extremes. That take has aged like milk. On his first day in office, Biden signed sweeping Executive Orders on ‘racial equity’ and gender ideology. He later tried to apportion Covid relief on the basis of race. He’s a Net Zero zealot. He has allowed the justice system to be weaponised against his opponents. He invited Dylan Mulvaney to the White House, FFS. Biden’s return to ‘normalcy’ has been so successful millions of Americans are starting to wonder if Donald Trump might actually be the saner choice.
Everywhere, political leaders are pursuing the same batshit, authoritarian policies and everywhere they are colliding with reality – and the electorate. Yousaf, Varadkar, Sturgeon and Ardern may have stepped down, but they did so in the face of growing public fury. Biden and Trudeau may not get the same privilege. Plus, while technocratic centrists remain in power or the ascendancy in various nations, they are at least being forced to adapt, albeit insincerely, to the new political reality – one in which voters are increasingly unwilling to put up with the punishing green policies, out-of-control transgenderism and woke censorship that have been rammed down their throats for years. And so, Labour’s Keir Starmer has suddenly worked out what a woman is. The SNP is watering down some of its ludicrous Net Zero targets. Welsh Labour is paring back its more insane anti-car policies. The Irish government is finally, tacitly, admitting that it has let migration and asylum get out of control (albeit by just blaming it on the British).
The new authoritarianism is far from defeated. It is a feature, not a bug, of our technocratic ruling class. Worse than that, it is what gives our leaders meaning. The conviction that they are saving the world from a climate armageddon, that they are the protectors of all those supposedly easily offended minorities, that they must censor and re-educate the masses for our own good, has provided moral purpose to an otherwise simpleminded and disorientated elite. It won’t be easy to dislodge this stuff. But as one political leader after another exits the stage, having shredded their authority with voters, we see that the common sense of the demos remains our greatest defence against the insanity of the elites – if only we can find better ways to channel it. If there is hope, it lies in the masses. Always.
…millions of Americans are starting to wonder if Donald Trump might actually be the saner choice.
Millions more have made that determination.
The Irish government is finally, tacitly, admitting that it has let migration and asylum get out of control (albeit by just blaming it on the British).
They wouldn’t be the Irish otherwise, if they didn’t find some way to blame the British, particularly the English, LOL!
1 Corinthians 13:1-13 - Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
Talk about a non-sequitur. Sqrlsy-tier for sure.
Not enough Comstock or 1972 LP platform. Hank may have had a stroke.
just dont be tinkling in my cornflakes
The courts have repeatedly considered the question of whether Democrats committed voter fraud in the aftermath of the 2020 election,
This smacks of "we the CIA investigated ourselves and found there was no wrong doing"
There's an improbably high probability that somebody is absolutely lying about anything that is too dangerous to discuss.
Our chief weapon is unions...unions and people on welfare...people on welfare and unions.... Our two weapons are people on welfare and unions...and student loans.... Our *three* weapons are people on welfare, unions, and student loans...and an almost fanatical devotion to faithless elections... Our *four*...no... *Amongst* our weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as people on welfare, unions.... I'll come in again.
Again, for some 40 yrs. they've advocated against voter IDs because they were sure that black people were too stupid to find the DMV. Now, they continue to advocate that without voter ID *and* mailing ballots *and* open borders *and* emergency declarations... voting be a black hole of accountability.
It's getting to the point that the people saying, "Trump needs to knock it off with the vote-stealing rhetoric." are rather overtly carrying water in a "Putin won with 98% of the vote." fashion.
I have to say I love the analogy. Nobody expects the fascist revolution!
Only clicked through a few of the links and a lot of it was hand waiving. Didn't admit to illegal election changes found by the courts. Counted dismissed for standing and mootness as findings. Ignored all the statistical analysis which is what we have as the information is controlled by the government and they are arresting people who speak up. It wasn't a good retort by Liz.
Literally all of the links were Reason articles. One of them was from January 7, 2021, by Sullum, in which he called Ted Cruz shameful for voting not to certify because of Pennsylvania election irregularities.
Spoiler, a judge later ruled that Pennsylvania's running of the election violated its own laws and constitution, but by that time, there was no remedy so it had no consequences. Meaning, even though Cruz was proven right, we're linking to an article calling him out for speculating without evidence, with the goal of trying to get more time to consider the irregular way that election was run.
So it's the Catch-22 of trying to contest an election. If you wait until there's a sufficient investigation, it's way too late and there's no remedy. If you try to stall for time to let the investigation proceed, you're interfering with the democratic process by pushing unsubstantiated rumors.
To this day I can't tell you that there was outcome-determinative election error or fraud, I haven't seen anywhere near sufficient evidence. I still think it's indisputable to say that the 2020 elections were a departure from the norm and we should be understanding that people are going to be eternally skeptical about it as a result.
Is it rather fascinating that an investigation into voting irregularities doesn't trigger any kind of recount or a new election for those precincts.
How can it be that an election is found to be irregular and illegal after the fact, and nothing more happens?
It's a complicated issue since there apparently is no remedy, as you state, but it's a bizarre twist for elections which are supposed to be legal and transparent. Not to mention they are the basis for our entire method of governance.
All of the irregularities favored democrats. If one significant election favored a GOP candidate, the DNC would've fabricated a novel method to have a new election.
This shit only works one (D)irection.
“Meaning, even though Cruz was proven right,”
Yeah, but facts changed. He was still wrong at the time.
— Lying Jeffy
Lol. Yeah, “we” didn’t know in March 2020 that the first people to die of covid worked at the wuhan lab, so that makes 2-3 years of wet market/raccoon dog diversions totally legit.
That guy is the worst.
Didn’t click any of them. I’m assuming none of them included the ruling that the Michigan SOS (D) violated election laws for signature verification?
Was all Reason articles from before Liz. She didn't read the comments that kind of expose the Sullum narrative.
The Israeli military has started telling civilians to move out of Rafah...
Classic genocidal move.
Stay out of Rafah, deadbeats. Keep your ugly fucking goldbrickin asses out my beach community.
Facsist maybe?
FDR told the Nipponese to move out of Wake, Midway, Iwo Jima, Saipan the Philippines and Tinian. They had the option of NOT attacking Pearl jes' like the Hamahammedans had the option of NOT invading and kidnapping in Israel. Remember? (The college I attended seems to have forgotten)
More posts like this Hank.
Are you telling us there was a Japanese genocide? You don’t seem to understand what war really is, Hank.
Russian forces are now deployed next to withdrawing US troops in Niamey. This supports CTP's assessment that Russian troops will also backfill the US base in northern Niger,
Is it standard procedure to scuttle bases after pull outs?
It’s considered polite to leave equipment and materials behind.
That's what makes it sloppy.
Don't forget to leave sensitive material laying around.
Gestay-po, gestah-po.
'Trump's frequent allegations that Democrats cheated to win the 2020 election, on the other hand, are not well-substantiated.'
Define "cheating".
No widespread cheating
Wonder if Liz even knows about the elections overturned this year and 2022 under the same claims as 2020 by courts.
When all you got's a hammer...
Or the Connecticut judge that threw out the Bridgeport mayoral primary result after a video of ballot stuffing appeared.
That surely explains 2020.
It sure does. But people don't want to admit it.
U.S. Oil and Gas Production Continues to Shatter Records
....
By Robert Rapier - May 05, 2024, 10:00 AM CDT
U.S. oil production is 1.4% higher than last year's record pace.
U.S. natural gas production is 1.1% higher than a year ago.
Elevated crude oil prices are expected to support continued production growth

#DonnieLiesExposed
And how much of this is due to new leases on federal lands, Plugazoid?
Imagine where it would be if the Biden/Buttplug administration weren't trying to destroy it every step of the way, banning drilling and pipelines every chance they got.
If it wasn't for the Democrats losing in the courts, American oil production would be dead.
Buttplug is pretending to gloat but he must be enraged.
Last time he tried to gloat about this I pointed out that a lot of the increase is due to advancements in efficiency, etc.
But he’s a retarded monkey so he’s incapable of learning.
Elevated crude oil prices are expected to support continued
productiongasoline price growthHey, you forgot to respond in the thread last week regarding the Clinton admin's failures in the years directly before 9/11.
I know someone of your integrity and seriousness would never do that on purpose; I was worried that you had "lost your password" again.
So tired.
Where is the extraction occurring? Who signed the leases?
LETS BE FAIR! Poor Donnie thought the conversation was about massage oil! It was an honest mistake.
Fairness is about the last thing your senile old ass is interested in.
Yet, gas prices up 50%. Thanks
GenocideDementiaCrooked Joe.“Gestapo Administration”…
Well, if it talks like a goose and steps like a goose…
Dumb like a fucking goose too. Can't the lot of them walk out on the DC beltway one fine morning at 8am?
(Dear readers, before sending me hate mail for this point, please do take the time to read some substantial number of the 12 links I inserted above.)
You poor thing...
Were they mostly from X, (formerly Twitter)?
You poor, poor thing.
Fuck off, you humorless clod.
You poor, poor, poor thing.
Out of ammunition so soon?
Poor thing.
I have plenty, even though you're now stealing it.
Prove it.
Only leftists let facts get in the way of the narrative.
Which facts from those links? We know you didn't click them.
Speaking for yourself, Sarc?
She must be new here . . .
"It is not the job of the news media to prevent that from happening. It's the job of Biden and the people around Biden to prevent that from happening."
Then why bother coopting almost all commercial media, supporting infrastructure, "job training" academia, and partnership with government sensors?
All in all, very little good news for those concerned—as I am—about dropping fertility rates.
ALMOST AS THOUGH SOME ELITES WERE CONCERNED ABOUT THE EARTH'S POPULATION AND DID SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
Some people didn’t do some things.
Tonight is the Met Gala. Employees of Condé Nast, which puts on the event, are threatening to picket.
TAX THE RICH.
anyone know the message on this year's dress yet?
I'm with Stupid (arrow pointing up)?
+1 lookin' good, Rod.
No dress this year, Mao jacket instead.
That’s a shame. How ever horrible her politics are, she can fit in a dress.
A six maybe a very generous seven, but then she opens her mouth and drops to a 2 (and that's just because of the East German Judge giving her high points).
I don't know man. Something about a girl in a tight button up uniform with a skirt gets me going. Bonus points if she's mad at me because I'm not following the rules. Some chicks are so cute when they're mad.
I usually go for a women on business attire (especially with stockings and a tight pencil skirt but AOC is meh. Probably not have turned her down when I was single but doubt I call her back the next day. And when I was single (and still to this day, really) latinas were second only to redheads.
Dark haired girls with really fair skin would be a very close third.
And yes that includes goth/alt/emo/steampunk.
Tough blondes with freckles are #1 for me, ones with some fight in 'em. I've tried the emo/goth ones, but they really are just depressing to be around.
I'm Norwegian and Danish on my Dad's side, and German and Scots-Irish on my Mom's. Tough blonds with freckles is pretty much a family reunion for me. So, not as big a deal.
If you throw in blue eyes or green eyes with the dark hair and really fair skin, plus a lithe figure, they probably move into number 2.
Yeah, but the rule is "Never stick it in crazy." and in this case we know the crazy is in there...it's not like sometimes when they hide the crazy for awhile...
>>but the rule is “Never stick it in crazy.”
overrated myth.
(Dear readers, before sending me hate mail for this point, please do take the time to read some substantial number of the 12 links I inserted above.)
Was there an audit done Liz? Or just bullshit recounts? If so, you can shove 100 Reason articles where the sun doesn't shine.
...says the masked anonymous sockette with no site, blog or verifiable anything.
Only credentialed journalists are allowed to ask questions.
Herr Hank's actually saying only credentialed commenters are allowed to post comments.
“with no site, blog”
OH NO!
Now how will Hank report them to the Gestapo?
Sounds interesting. Where are the rules for these "audits"?
Some law or constitution, presumably...
Not the Constitution dipshit. It leaves the means and manner of how the elections are held to the individual state legislatures. Maybe you out to try reading aforementioned Constitution.
Aught.
Some law, then. Which law? The one in your head?
Maybe, maybe not. But it isn't in the Constitution. You should follow his advice and read it.
It is not the job of the news media to prevent that from happening. It's the job of Biden and the people around Biden to prevent that from happening.
What's the Venn diagram of "news media" and "people around Biden" look like.
What is a perfect circle, Alex?
I’ll now take “Media Figures Who’ve Been Democrat Operatives” for $2,000.
Weirdly enough, it forms a square.
More of a rhombus, tilts left.
An Ouroboros contorted into a Mobius strip as generated by AI.
What would make the FJB administration a Gestapo administration, other than using novel interpretations of criminal laws to go after Trump?
Locking up political dissenters would probably contribute to that classification.
Spying on political opponents,
censoring political opponents,
having party affiliated newspapers knowingly publish falsehoods about political opposition,
inserting agent provocateurs at demonstrations by political opposition,
manufacturing or advancing documents they know are fraudulent as legitimate to the judiciary and elected officials, in order to indict political opponents,
hunting down and imprisoning supporters of the political opposition on trumped up charges...
I can't think of anything the OGPU, Gestapo, or the Stasi ever did that the American three letter agencies haven't. Including secret prisons.
Don’t worry your little head. You’ll get your revenge when your team is back in power. And you’ll justify doing all those same things and more because they did it first. After all, two wrong make a right (winger).
Ignore what Joe is doing because sarc forgets Trump already had the presidency for 4 years and didn’t do what he accuses him of!
What a retarded leftist you’ve become.
We shouldn’t vote for trump because he might do what Joe is doing!
By the way, thinking of that, where’s your list?
"Don’t worry your little head. You’ll get your revenge when your team is back in power."
Not one of those things bother Sarcasmic.
Mass censorship? Imprisoning dissidents?
Pshaw, what's really bad is that the Rethuglicans might want "rEvEnGE".
We need dictators now to protect us from future dictators!
Mass censorship? If everyone knows what was censored and talks about it openly then I think the censors are pretty shitty at their job.
Jailing dissidents? Is that what you’re calling J6 now?
All I’m saying is that you will not complain when your side gets revenge. You know you want it. You have so much hate built up inside. So much hate.
If everyone knows what was censored and talks about it openly then I think the censors are pretty shitty at their job.
Are you pretending that the FBI and the Biden administration, didn’t push platforms to remove Trump, Jordan Peterson, the British Medical Journal, Epidemiologist Martin Kulldorff, anyone who spoke about the lab-leak theory, people critical of CRA, people critical of lockdowns, Joe Rogan, etc?
And yes. Dissidents is exactly what guys like the J6 defendants are.
You just don’t like the use of the term anymore because you’re on the side of the Nazis.
Sarc has forgotten a out Mackey.
Let’s review.
Everything that Democrats do, is no different than what the Nazis and Communists did in the 20th century. So when Joe Biden 'cooperates' with big companies, that's fascism.
Everything that Republicans do, is not at all comparable to what the Nazis and Communists did in the 20th century. So when Donald Trump 'cooperates' with big companies, that's totally harmless.
Let’s review:
Jeff is a fucking idiot.
Class dismissed.
Let’s review.
Jeff can’t handwave examples of horrific government censorship, so he calls demands “cooperation”, and pretends that the resulting corporatism necessary to make his claim true wasn’t also a trademark of the Nazi regime. Then he pretends with zero examples "boaf sides".
Either way, Jeff isn’t just cool with the onslaught of totalitarianism.
He revels in it.
Disgusting Nazi fuck.
Mass censorship – See Twitter files.
J6 dissidents – I like “peaceful protesters”.
Revenge – Nah, but I’m happy with the “when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism," solution.
"mostly peaceful protesters" but without the fires
Retard.
I'm just spitballin' here, but what if, when the republicans get back in power, they not only don't lawfare the fuck out of their political enemies, but put safeguards in place to make sure that it doesn't happen in the future. To anyone.
I know it's crazy talk, but it's an idea.
No,no. Just the tip, I promise.
“…put safeguards in place to make sure that it doesn’t happen in the future.”
What are you, some kind of Trump cultist?
/s
This line of argumentation is stupid, especially in light of what the current administration is ACTUALLY DOING/HAS DONE.
And seriously, condemning people for not taking the high road (never mind that they haven’t even had the chance to yet) completely ignores how politics is in the real world.
Mass graves? Oh... Ehr... Waco... Honduras. Sorry I'll keep trying to think of something.
I'd say developing and training a street army allied to local civic institutions you control is the first step. Then your schools can teach how wonderful they are, and give poor enough marks to those who speak out that college is not a feasible path. Local police can ensure they never look too closely or too quickly to catch them, and should any be professional enough to try to enforce the law the DA can always step in to protect their allies.
"It is not the job of the news media to prevent that from happening. It's the job of Biden and the people around Biden to prevent that from happening."

"Koch Network Raises Over $70 Million for Push to Sink Trump"
I always felt there was far more Trump trashing after their last fund-raising campaign in which they raised more than their goal. Course I'm sure Biden's journalist grants (Nazi-media payments) don't help either.
Poor Donnie Trump. Poor anxious Stormy Lizard. Clutch that Mutterkreuz! Those mean 'ol Dems, helping Hitler to power the way they did 13JUL1931 with that Moratorium on Brains and Limitation Convention! FDR oughtta be ashamed of himself, fer shoor. But they'll be gone someday, chile. No no no no no no no no no don' yew cry!
Poor old Hank sees the swastikas fluttering in the streets and imagines they're flowers.
Thoughts arrive like butterflies.
What a maroon.
Ideas!
So, is this, uh, talking about ideas instead of people? Just asking, for a friend, Sarc.
Last I checked the very political goal of the left was to make a "New Deal" of [Na]tional So[zi]al[ism] instead of a USA.
Not as-if they try to hide that by any means short of in-the-face denial, self-projection and blame shifting. Well; And corrupt bribery payment promises to STEAL from the 'rich'/'icky' as well as trying to label the USA nothing but a Democratic [WE] Nazis RULE nation instead of *Constitutional* Republic.
One of the best things about Trump is his statements of the obvious that the diluted blind-sheeple find so offensive. Like a good dose of reality.
Here's something interesting, folks:
https://twitter.com/chemjeff
and
https://chemjeff.blogspot.com/
Our prolific fifty-center astroturfs himself as a "thoughtful conservative". And yes, it's definitely him.
How cute! jeff’s got a stalker!
Defend your leftist boyfriend!
No, no, Jesse. When you publish shit publicly and searchably on a blog and Twitter, under your pseudonym, it's like supposed to be a secret.
Pointing out that the fat lardo put up a website and twatter account for any rando to look at is stalking?
The way ML has gone about it, it certainly could fall into that definition.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyberstalking
Or was it promoting?
The way ML has gone about it
Linking your blogspot page and your twatter profile, which you put up for anyone to read, on an internet comment board is hardly cyberstalking.
You didn't read the article I see. It has to do with the intent of the alleged stalker. If the intent is humiliation or harassment, then it may be considered stalking.
What about following the law for its own sake, for purposes of civic order? When are you going to chide ML for his disruption of civic order here?
Right. Jeffy, what color is the sky on your planet? That’s easily findable information posted only once here. It’s not even close to being cyberstalking.
You didn’t read the article I see.
Consider it an in-kind contribution.
What about following the law for its own sake, for purposes of civic order?
LOL, go whine to the admins about it if you think you have a case, fat boy.
When are you going to chide ML for his disruption of civic order here?
What disruption? Making fun of your fat ass is a social norm.
Don't get Herr Führungsoffiziere Kemjeff started on disruption of civic order.
Yeah it figures, your "civic order" crap was just more Calvinball from you.
What disruption? Making fun of your fat ass is a social norm.
Are you saying 'social norms' are more important than the law? Is it okay to break laws that defy social norms?
Yeah it figures, your “civic order” crap was just more Calvinball from you.
No, we just don't let our enemies use our principles as a weapon against us.
Are you saying ‘social norms’ are more important than the law? Is it okay to break laws that defy social norms?
Depends, is it chapping your ass or not?
“You didn’t read the article I see. It has to do with the intent of the alleged stalker.”
Lol, ‘implying’ and ‘intent’ are two of Jeffy’s favorite things when he’s smearing others.
You know, Jeffy, if I’m waving my dick out on mainstreet I don’t get to call the people who see it, “sTaLkeRs”.
And, HEY, SARCASMIC! you retarded little fuck. It was your demands for a cite that had me stumble upon Creamjeff’s soapboxes.
Too funny.
Damn, that actually made me chuckle out loud in the office.
You know, Jeffy, if I’m waving my dick out on mainstreet I don’t get to call the people who see it, “sTaLkeRs”.
But I didn't "wave my dick". I never mentioned here that I have a blog. I barely even mentioned here that I have a twitter account. You were the one who found them and decided to shine a public light on them here. Why?
Are you being deliberately obtuse? You published them on the fucking internet, you dishonest clown.
I did not bring any attention to them HERE.
Why did you post the links?
Why did you post the links?
It was funny
I did not bring any attention to them HERE.
No, you didn't. So? Is Twitter more secret than Reason?
Why did you post the links?
For shits and giggles. To mock you. To let others mock you too. I think you forget how much I loathe you and what a disgusting person I think you are.
And here's a thought, maybe don’t spam your shit everywhere if you don’t want people to notice.
Well, at least you're being honest about it.
@ObviouslyNotSpam
What kind of defense is that? It's not ML's fault Jeffy put all that stuff out there for the world to see. It's called bringing out the facts.
Haha, Lying Jeffy mad.
“..,,humiliation or harassment….”
You’re humiliated by your own writing?
This is a positive step for you Jeff. Admitting you have a problem and all that..,
Lmao.
Lol. Oh boy.
His attempt at engagement with a poll getting zero engagement is fucking hilarious. Of course it is about wine drinking.
How many Canadian hate-speech laws do you violate a day in these comments?
Xenophobia
I'm guessing you support those laws against your enemies?
I was told that following the law for the law's sake is imperative for good citizens, because it creates civic order.
I'm sure I could find some creative interpretation of Canadian law where what he did constitutes "internet stalking". For the sake of civic order, ML, I think you should stop what you're doing.
I was told that following the law for the law’s sake is imperative for good citizens, because it creates civic order.
I was told that disobeying laws I don't like is perfectly acceptable.
No you weren't told that. You were told that violating laws that are morally unconscionable is justifiable.
I do note how you completely evade the mocking criticism of your own inane position of "obeying the law for its own sake for purposes of civic order". It's like you are not a serious person and only come here to troll.
No you weren’t told that. You were told that violating laws that are morally unconscionable is justifiable.
Distinction without a difference, especially in a world where relativism is a virtue.
I do note how you completely evade the mocking criticism of your own inane position of “obeying the law for its own sake for purposes of civic order”.
I’m hardly evading anything, considering your equally inane support for unchecked mass immigration and question-begging premise that anything that limits it is unfair.
Distinction without a difference
Umm no it's not. Adults with the capability of moral reasoning are able to distinguish between laws that they should follow but don't, and laws that they shouldn't follow because they are unjust.
equally inane
Oh, so you do acknowledge that your whole Judge Dredd "the law's the law!" statement was completely stupid?
Umm no it’s not. Adults with the capability of moral reasoning are able to distinguish between laws that they should follow but don’t, and laws that they shouldn’t follow because they are unjust.
"Unjust" is subjective.
Oh, so you do acknowledge that your whole Judge Dredd “the law’s the law!” statement was completely stupid?
No, I'm mocking your pretentious unwarranted sense of self-regard, Shamu.
So who's morals are we using as a baseline here? Is it just possible that something you find morally objectionable I find to be a natural right, and vice versa?
Your morals.
It'd have to be Medulla's because Jeffy doesn't have any.
"How many Canadian hate-speech laws do you violate a day in these comments?"
Until the government of Canada moves trailer-park drunks and obese, far-left-extremist basement dwellers into its protected categories, none.
Are maple liquor swilling moose fuckers protected?
There's no maple syrup trees in Western Canada but there are in Maine, and say... isn't Maine famous for its Moose?
Are you asking for a friend?
Yes, Maine is rather famous for its moose.
https://mapleroch.com/pages/maple-roch-syrup
Maybe read your own link before posting, retard. Sold in BC but produced in New Brunswick.
"What Makes Our Maple Syrup Different
While over 90% of Canadian maple syrup is produced in Quebec, most of our small batch maple syrup is produced in Saint-Quentin, New Brunswick; a town of approx. 2200 people. Saint-Quentin is found in the Appalachian Mountains"
Saint-Quentin is 2,300 miles from where I live, Sarckles, but it's only 35 miles from... drumroll, please... THE MAINE BORDER!!!
Haha, poor sarc. Such a retard.
He really is. What's even sadder is he actually believes he's being clever.
There's bears, and sometimes they get in your car's trunk.
The problem, of course, is when they get out. They tend to be hungry and cranky.
Much like…..
Wow! So many ideas!
I've seen what passes for Canadian Comedy shows. Pretty sure trailer park drunks are already considered the high point of Canadian high culture. Maybe drunk small town hi ks fighting hockey jocks, but not sure if that would be a separate or sub genre.
Although the slutty sister is nice.
Different genres but there is overlap.
What was the one where they owned a gas station in Alberta? That wasn’t to far from where I actually live. Or was it Saskatchewan? Saskatchewan is actually closer. I'm about 150 miles or so south of Regina.
I commit at least 3 internet felonies a day, in Scotland.
OMG you found a blog and a Twitter account I haven't used in a long time. Good for you! Congratulations, you're one step closer to doxxing me. Which is your real purpose, right?
I’m a bit flabbergasted that you use the same name on all three.
He’s not very bright.
You're the one who put them on the internet. Next time you retards demand a citation for shit that you know that you actually said, perhaps remember that googling is usually the easiest way to find one.
“…,,a Twitter account I haven’t used in a long time.”
So…. You considered yourself a conservative a long time ago? Usually it works the other way- liberal when younger, more conservative as a person learns more about the world.
Selectively nuanced when one goes full retard…. Haha.
You know what? I have never even remotely felt compelled to do a Google search on "Mother's Lament" to try to dig up some sort of dirt on you.
I wonder why you would do this sort of thing. Oh I know why: with you it's personal. You cannot defeat my ideas so you try to destroy me the person. That is how totalitarians think. If they can't suppress an idea that is subversive to their regime, they go after the people spreading that idea and try to imprison and execute them instead. That is the sort of thinking you are engaging in here.
You reek of desperation.
You cannot defeat my ideas ..
That’s some funny shit right there, Mr. Bears in Trunks
Profound ideas, such as "not allowing child molesters to claim asylum is reducing their liberty."
You mean, a true statement? A true statement which you don’t like but cannot rebut? Because you're an authoritarian dipshit yourself?
Yes, I realize you want more child molesters like yourself in the country. We've known this for a while.
No, I don't want more child molesters in the country.
You however don't even recognize their liberty in the first place.
That is what makes you an authoritarian cunt.
They have the liberty to try and claim asylum, we have the liberty of telling known child predators to fuck off into the nearest volcano and never letting them into the US.
That’s just Jeff trying to shift the window. We have the liberty of telling any asylum seeker to fuck off.
Volcano optional.
No, I don’t want more child molesters in the country.
When you whine that not letting them claim asylum is reducing their liberty, you're arguing to let them in.
You however don’t even recognize their liberty in the first place.
You don't recognize the liberty of American children to not be in danger from child molesters.
That is what makes you an authoritarian cunt.
I'll proudly take that mantle if it means preventing child molesters from entering the country on false grounds.
Nobody who has done harm to minors deserves asylum, especially since asylum is always discretionary.
"I wonder why you would do this sort of thing."
To find a cite your retarded ass demanded.
Entering "site:www.Reason.com" along with "Creamjeff", plus the stupid shit you said, is the quickest way. All sorts of other shit comes up at the same time, like your soapboxes.
Maybe if you'd cop to the evil shit you say when your narratives change, instead of demanding citations, I wouldn't have come across them.
Oh I know why:
Probably not, but I bet you'll make up some creepy fantasy that fit's your narrative.
You cannot defeat my ideas so you try to destroy me the person. That is how totalitarians think. If they can’t suppress an idea that is subversive to their regime, they go after the people spreading that idea and try to imprison and execute them instead.
Yup. There it is.
Hilarious that a full-on politruk and state shill for totalitarianism is fantasizing that he's some sort of freedom fighter though.
Didn't jeff just describe himself with his open support of political prosecutions and cheering arrests of his opponents?
I don’t believe you. I think you googled my nick to try to find dirt on me and ultimately try to doxx me.
And even still, what you posted above aren’t citations for anything. Why did you post those links above? Hmm?
“I don’t believe you. I think you googled my nick to try to find dirt on me and ultimately try to doxx me.”
Occam’s Razor you dishonest fuck. And don’t act like some sort of exposed victim when I linked to YOUR OWN FUCKING BLOG AND TWITTER published by you, under your pseudonym.
Why did you link to them here?
Huh, will you look at that. Suddenly ML has fallen silent.
That is because I am right and he is too chickenshit to admit it.
He's stalking me.
Paranoid.
Huh, will you look at that. Suddenly ML has fallen silent.
Suddenly ML has a job that doesn't include fifty-centing on the internet. No reply for four hours means Jeffy gets a win.
"That is because I am right and he is too chickenshit to admit it."
You wouldn't be right even if you had the opportunity because truth is against your nature. There's a good reason everyone here calls you Lying Jeffy.
"He’s stalking me."
Gross. I have better things to do than hang out in your mom's basement watching you gobble Ho Hos and troll comment sections.
Also, you don't seem to realize that every time you lie about something you said and demand a citation, everyone is going to bring this up.
And why would you even try to find citations about me? It's not like you need citations about what I say, you just make shit up about me anyway. Nobody in your little mean girls club really gives a shit if it's true or not.
BECAUSE YOU'VE DEMANDED THEM YOU MENDACIOUS TWAT!
I've demanded lots of citations and it never mattered before. You just continue to make up shit about me.
That you would now suddenly care about accuracy in citations strains credulity.
Poor sarc
"I’ve demanded lots of citations and it never mattered before."
When you demand citations how do you think you get them? Do you think everyone has an impossibly long bookmark catalogue of all the stupid shit you said, or do we just use a search engine?
Fucking moron.
Increasing use of ALL CAPS is a sign...
...of getting the point across. NO DUH.
Lmao, Lying Jeffy’s losing it! This is hilarious.
“..,, try to imprison and execute them….”
Lolz. Don’t go full tony.
Everything Is So Terrible And Unfair!!!!
"You cannot defeat my ideas"
That is Misek level of cope.
What will you do if you ever manage to discover my real identity? Will you play pranks on me and sign me up for fake subscriptions? Will you "swat" me? Will you personally come to my house to try to murder me?
Paranoid much?
Obviously, extremely. Shit, I can smell the paranoia through the fucking keyboard.
Yeah, his inanity isn't worth the effort to actually do anything more than point and ridicule. Than again, narcissist tend to also be paranoid. So, it may not just be paranoia but delusions of grandeur, an overinflated sense of his own worth, e.g. he is so important randos ridiculing him on the Internet would actually go through the trouble of actually seeking him out IRL.
What will you do if you ever manage to discover my real identity?
Aren't you some fat fuck in Toronto? Maybe I'll send you a stairmaster and some diet chocolates.
Jesus fucking Christ, Jeff. You’ve had bad days here, and this is certainly one of them.
Wow.
This sort of thing is why I use a different username for every platform I participate in.
Same here, unless I want it attached to another platform. But, this is Jeffy we’re talking about here. He’s not all that smart.
His Twitter account is just sad. 390 followers, no comments to his posts, and he reposts people like George “Sulu” Takei and Gavin Newsom.
But not a Democrat.
"he reposts people like George “Sulu” Takei and Gavin Newsom."
That part made me laugh the hardest. I was expecting Mark Hamill and Meathead too after I saw that. I was a little disappointed.
The only people I’ve seen that repost Sulu and Newsom on Twitter are progressive Democrats. Have yet to see a conservative or libertarian repost one of their inane posts.
And most of those 'progressive Democrats' are bots.
He follows and Likes Mueller She Wrote. Guy is a clown.
Guys... we have a picture. Lol.

Can’t be him. Asian people are clever, there's zero chance that the PRC would have let him attend Peking U, and Kkkemjeff has said he was white.
Mind you he does act like a PRC bot sometimes.
Don’t know. Him being an actual Chinese 50 center makes a ton of sense.
Not fat enough
Interesting where all his publications are from in his project...

There's zero chance our Chemjeff is smart enough to publish.
Who said you had to be smart to publish?
Yeah, for example look at any Social 'Science' department.
Our prolific fifty-center astroturfs himself as a “thoughtful conservative”.
O for 2, not a good start.
I do love the inimitable style of the British press...
"They aren’t revolutionaries. They’re bigoted brats: The Columbia cranks rant about killing Zionists one minute and demand hot meals the next."
"It’s all there. The whinging cadence, the ‘like’-strewn patter, the obligatory keffiyeh, the industrial-strength victimhood, the bloke in a crop top stood behind her… King-Slutzky and Co are the picture of trustafarians in revolt. Their anti-Israel bigotry is matched only by their profound sense of entitlement. How dare the university not provide adequate refreshments while we are smashing shit up?
"Today, Columbia students and their off-campus heavies aren’t opposing war exactly. Yes, they oppose Israel’s assault on the genocidal lunatics of Hamas, following the Islamist terrorists’ vicious pogrom on 7 October. But they seem pretty relaxed about warfare against the state of Israel. ‘We don’t want no two states / We want all of it!’, they chant. ‘Never forget 7 October… 7 October is about to be every fucking day for you. You ready?’, screeched one racist cunt outside the gates.
"But it all makes a perverse kind of sense. Students taught that freedom of speech is a form of violence have begun to see violence as a form of free speech. Young radicals reared on a crude, conspiratorial racial identity politics have begun to apply it to geopolitics, with predictably anti-Semitic results. A new generation of elite youth, overprotected and indulged in equal measure, have come to think they can do no wrong.
"At the same time, let’s not pretend that today’s revolting students just appeared, fully formed, from the womb. They are the products of an academic and upper-class culture that has kindled their prejudices and inflamed their intolerance. They aren’t revolutionaries. They’re bigoted brats. And they’ve been pandered to for far too long.
I didn't know that fear of Columbia's demonstrators extended across the ocean to Europe.
"Their anti-Israel bigotry "
That's weird. Anti-Israel? I thought it was their hatred of Jews. It always has been up to now. The press even criticizes 'conspiratorial racial identity politics' - presumably the conflation of anti-semitism with opposition to Israeli policies. What the hell is going on? Israel is shutting down Al Jazeera offices while Britain's pro genocide camp is adopting Hamas rhetoric.
Makes sense since the British pro-genocide camp is supporting Hamas and has been all along.
"Makes sense since the British pro-genocide camp is supporting Hamas and has been all along."
I'm sure it hasn't been that way all along. Months ago The Daily Mail were firmly in the camp of criticism of Israel or Israeli leaders is tantamount to anti-semitism, just as it is today in Reason and the rest of American media. From the evidence presented by Medulla Oblongata, that's changed, at least for Britain. Now, the protestors are 'anti-Israel' whatever that means, who can say, but it's clear that the British press is now parroting Hamas's 'anti-Israel' rhetoric. I fear this is not the worst of it. Soon we'll be seeing mentions of Palestine without the scare quotes, as if they were an actual real thing.
Uh, you do realize that criticism of Israel and antisemitism often go hand in hand, right? You and Rob and the student protestors are prime examples of displaying both. There was also never a state called Palestine.
Why you seem incapable of understanding that is a mystery.
The same type of students are what led to Iran being the nightmare that it is today, so this seems to check out.
It's amusing that the children of the 'elite' are such trashbags. It's enough to make you wonder if what their parents are stating out in public is all just nonsense and in private they're saying the same idiot shit as their children are.
Or, alternatively, they hate their rich parents and did a 180 from what their parents believe.
Either seems probable.
The students leading on a path to the nightmare of today's Iran, and you find them 'amusing.' Get your story straight. Fear mongering or mockery. Stick to one, at least for the duration of a short comment. Focus!
It's amusing to see these students go on the path to an Iranian nightmare. Doesn't mean that their vision is going to be realized. Mockery it is.
The fact that your antisemitic self can't seem to grasp that is also worthy of mockery.
Ha Brits. They don't even know how to spell potatoe.
I love how the Brits have no problem calling cunts cunts, but here in the US that's the worse word you can say (that doesn't start with N that is).
I think cunt is strictly for dudes there. If a dude called a chick that over there the reaction would probably be similar to here.
Now, it wouldn’t be nearly as serious as misgendering someone, of course……

"Union members and poor people who rely on government handouts are disproportionately Democrat voters. "
Black people also vote disproportionately for Democrats. But that's good news for Republicans. Most Americans are not poor, not reliant on government handouts, and their skin color is something other than black. If Republicans have decided they can't win without the poor, the dependent, or the black, they should fashion their policies accordingly.
That may be why the Dems are running scare ads in Penna. falsely telling women (a huge voting bloc that they desperately need) that Trump will take away women's rights.
"Trump will take away women’s rights."
That's probably not a good idea. Taking away the rights of poor and union members is much better. The sad fact is there are just too many women in America. The poor and the union members are a much smaller group and can be easily dispensed with, especially if there's a concomitant (accompanying) gain in middle class, non union voters.
And which rights of those would Trump be taking away?
"And which rights of those would Trump be taking away?"
How badly does he want to win?
You gonna answer the original question?
Maybe. Stick around and find out.
And the question pertained to what ones you were claiming would taken away and from whom. That’s answerable in the here and now by you.
You’ll never get a straight answer from misconstrueman
Ouch
Mulder's I Want To Believe poster goes here.
Not Good:
Russian forces are now deployed next to withdrawing US troops in Niamey. This supports CTP’s assessment that Russian troops will also backfill the US base in northern Niger, which will create several long-term opportunities for the Kremlin to strategically threaten Europe. 1/9
A: Why ‘not good’
II: This is exactly what us alt-right, populist MAGA types have been warning and predicting for several years now.
3: It’s possible that a much-diminished hegemonic US in the world might COULD be a good thing, for America.
Edit:
Four: This is what a power sharing agreement looks like.
Shorter media:
2020-2023: Defund the police!
2024: Whycome so many products at grocery store locked up?
EVs are just really popular!
For the first time in history the most popular new car across the planet is electric. Tesla sold more than 1.2 million Model Ys in 2023 to put it ahead of Toyota's RAV4 which had sales of 1.07 million and Corolla which found 1.01 million buyers.
According to sources I can find for that, they state the data is unverified. Not saying it isn't true, but if it is I'd be curious how many of those purchases were for corporate entities and rental car companies.
Either way, that's one hell of a strain on our power infrastructure. Guess we'll need to build some nuclear plants to support the industry?
I hope so!
China and western Europe have been diving in full-bore on electric vehicles the past few years. However, in the west these vehicles don't sell beyond upper-middle class and elite status chasers, and sales in China have fallen off as well. Cars in general have gotten really fucking expensive since the pandemic, and EVs are a luxury most people either can't afford, or can't even support anyway if they live in an apartment complex.
I guess it depends on how we define "popular". In the google search list, the NPR article is titled:
People want to buy EVs. Why are electric car sales so sluggish? : NPR
Translation: Everybody wants one, but no one is buying!
Actual headline when clicking in the article:
EVs won over early adopters, but mainstream buyers aren't along for the ride yet
More subtle. Tech enthusiasts who always buy the first iteration of AI In A Box! but it just doesn't quite catch on with normies!
Sure, I want an EV. I want one that weighs less, costs less and is more reliable than my ICE car and has a 1000 mile range and can be refueled in less than 10 minutes.
No car does those things.
That's my point. People largely like the idea of EVs in the abstract, but the expense and inconvenience is still too high for most people.
Because it might not work for everyone, doesn’t mean it doesn’t work for anyone.
If it doesn't work for everyone then the government should stop trying to force people to adopt them, and stop offering tax money for people to buy them.
I agree with this.
Tech enthusiasts who always buy the first iteration of AI In A Box! but it just doesn’t quite catch on with normies!
Yeah, I saw a review where somebody was talking about the Large Action Model concept and how it was a "really cool" potentially redeeming feature. I can't help but picture the ABC Warrior robot from Judge Dredd with the added benefit of frequent hallucinations and unerring certainty in its correctness.
For the first time in history the most popular new car across the planet is electric.
"With the historic-y first majority-minority POC female drivers in the modern era no less! Sales gimmicks! Buzzwords! The technology is so transformatively disruptive that I have to verbally fellate everyone, including the women, into buying one." - Don't look at me!
I don’t give two fucks about what you or anyone else drives.
I like how unhinged your bullet format is. Assuming that was intentional for a laugh, and it worked.
The irony of all of this is that these Third World countries are starting to push back on western imposition over disagreements regarding the west’s queer cult fetish and putting hardened criminal gangsters in jail–something that western marxists probably never expected when they began loudly promoting anti-colonialism in their universities.
"something that western marxists probably never expected when they began loudly promoting anti-colonialism in their universities"
Just when I thought we'd finally overcome the Vietnam syndrome and once again were ready to give places like Iraq and Afghanistan yet another attempt at colonizing them. Those damn Marxist professors spoil all the fun.
Marxist Professors: Decolonize country x.
Us: Ok, let's return the country to its prior state and give them their sovereignty.
Marxist Professors: No, we need to colonize them with the ideas and philosophies of dead, white males from Germany!
Us: Um...
Amusingly, this doesn't end all that well since in at least a few cases they've reverted to theocratic rule which is just as abhorrent to communists as democratic rule.
Perhaps even more so, since the state doesn't like competition from religion.
I'm not the one claiming that the US being given the boot from Niger is 'not good.' That would be non Marxist Liz Wolfe, wringing her hands over her fears that Niger is to become a staging ground for, I shit you not, a Russian invasion of Europe..
Proxy wars are a thing, you know. It's already happening in Ukraine. The same thing could happen in Niger, hence "not good".
Considering I’m seeing leftists unironically demand that US aid be pulled from these countries for passing anti-gay laws or making their country empirically safer by throwing sociopathic gangsters in the clink and telling the west to fuck off if they don't like it, the hilarity of it all is too much.
I can only assume HyR has turned neocon.

Not to worry, the CNN article I read told me that Trump said this "without evidence."
It's nice when news articles automatically provide me with this information. Now if they'd just get around to checking Biden...
"These people are running a Gestapo administration," said Trump. "And it's the only thing they have. "
Gestapo isn't incendary enough. I suggest we leaven the slur with a touch of queer bashing. How about Gaystapo?
Nobody cares about 'gays' but leftards.
It's all part of their [WE] identity-gang building RULES ideology.
A predictable consequence of the [Na]tional So[zi]alist mentality.
"Nobody cares about ‘gays’ but leftards."
How about 'gaytards?' Or will that offend the retards Trump is hoping to win over to his side?
^See.... Completely obsessed with 'gay'.

I blame Democrats for trying to re-write the very definition (conquer) of the USA and turn it into a [WE] mobs RULE nation (democracy) illegally like treasonous invaders.
Instead of honoring the Supreme Law of the Land summarized as ensuring Individual Liberty and Justice for all. The Liberty to poke poopy-buttholes has never been under attack yet the [WE] identity-gang building Democrats had to dream-up another Identity-Gang to lobby for More 'Gun' entitlement over those 'icky' people who didn't think poking poopy-buttholes deserved a 'Gun' enforced label of respect and entitlement putting everyone's else's Liberty in the garbage.

"While the sci-fi show is always likely to perform well and has a huge fanbase, it is still important to bring new audiences to the series. This seems to be Davies' goal with the show's new era, which could be reflected in Doctor Who season 14's cast. It also aligns with the new Disney era and marks a turning point for the future. This only brings hope that Doctor Who can continue to be an interesting and captivating show, with plenty of scope.
To which I point out, the numbers do not seem to support that notion...
https://www.ratingraph.com/tv-shows/doctor-who-ratings-20291/
Personally, haven't watched in a few years. I had no problem with a woman Dr. Or even a black woman Dr. We'd already seen a woman "Master", and an Asian-looking "Master." But I just got bored...and tired of being smacked in the face with the SJW. The last seasons I watched had nothing compelling like Bad Wolf, or a crack in the universe, or the loss of the Ponds. Not even annoying "It's smaller on the outside" impossible girl. Just Jody Whitaker calling every one "fam": mopey lesbian Pakistani PC, neurodivergent black guy who can't ride a bike or throw a ball, old man with dead wife all of whom spend most of their time trying to quit being the Dr's companions.
If they wanted a female Timelord, why not bring back Romana? She was smarter than the Doctor and just as powerful.
I can’t say for certain that I’ve watched an episode of Dr. Who all the way through. I can’t count the number of “trickle down” sci-fi episodes I’ve watched, from errant episodes Tales From The Darkside and The Outer Limits to occasional episodes of Sliders or SG-1, but never Dr. Who.
That said, even from where I sit, it’s obvious that there are no fans of Dr. Who sitting around thinking “We really need a gay, black Dr. Who.” and the people sitting around thinking “We really need a gay, black Dr. Who.” aren’t fans. Like watching people try to sneak into pretty much anywhere, erect at 500 ft. tall statue of a female penis, and then marvel at how this thing just organically appeared out of nowhere and how everyone should just adore it for its inherent natural beauty.
>>Doctor Who season 14
are they finally dragging that fucking horse out of the barn?
Actually...it seems they're resetting to Season 1, because inclusiveness! Oh, and Disney!
------------------
Doctor Who showrunner Russell T. Davies revealed his plan to re-number the show, kicking off the Ncuti Gatwa era with season 1.
As Doctor Who season 14 approaches, Davies, who was showrunner between 2005 and 2010 before returning in 2023, opened up on his decision to treat the Gatwa era like a franchise reset. Speaking in an interview with Rolling Stone, the Queer As Folk creator explained the need for the franchise to reset, freshen up, and reinvent itself, and how he believes the time is right to do that now. Check out the showrunner's comments below:
Who is interested in Season 67, or whatever it is? It genuinely starts again. The reason why its survived for all these years is that every so often, Doctor Who stops, opens the door and refreshes itself, and gets a new audience in. And there are children who will come and watch this, who will be me in 20, 30, 40 years time making this stuff.
The Disney era of Doctor Who has resulted in a confusing numbering convention that begins with Ncuti Gatwa's first season as the Fifteenth Doctor.
There is no doubt that season 14 represents a fresh era for the franchise, with the first Black Doctor and the exploration of more inclusive themes, so changing the numbering honors these achievements. In many ways, it will feel like a new show tied to an old legacy, and this is a great way of recognizing that fact. Lastly, the franchise gets a fresh face-lift, especially as it will mark the first season since the show's Disney+ acquisition.
>>and how he believes the time is right to do that now.

"Border Crossing Where Humanitarian Aid Enters Gaza Has Been Blown Up. Guess Who's Taking Credit.
Hamas terrorists claimed credit for a rocket attack on Sunday targeting the Kerem Shalom border crossing between Israel and Gaza near the Egyptian border, the main entry point for humanitarian aid headed into the enclave.
https://twitter.com/i24NEWS_EN/status/1787093071877845352
Following the Hamas attack, the crossing was shut down for investigation, meaning Hamas — once again — is solely responsible for a pause in the processing and moving of humanitarian aid into Gaza.

Speaking of election integrity:
NY Democrat faked signatures on election petition — including 3 dead people: prosecutors
An suburban New York councilman was charged after he submitted election petitions with fraudulent signatures — including three dead people, according to prosecutors and a report.
Rob Scott, 44, a Democrat serving on Peekskill Common Council, allegedly submitted a 2023 petition to run for a county lawmaker seat that was signed by individuals who died in 2012, 2017, and 2022, the Rockland/Westchester Journal News reported.
Eight other individuals whose names were included in the 37-page petition told prosecutors they’d never signed it.
Those and the dead men’s signatures were among the 537 on the petition Scott allegedly certified that he had witnessed himself.
Officials stop scheme to register dead voters as Democrats
[edit: this one was in 2020...how many similar schemes were NOT caught?]
Investigators in South Florida have uncovered an attempt to register dozens of dead people as Democratic voters, though no mail-in ballots were requested or cast under the falsified IDs.
Officials in Broward County, a Democratic stronghold and Florida’s second most populous county, uncovered the scheme over the summer.
Someone in Columbia, South Carolina, mailed 51 new voter applications — each bearing the same neat handwriting — to the Broward County elections office in July, officials said. The story was first reported Friday by the South Florida SunSentinel.
Broward County supervisor of elections officials flagged the registrations as suspicious and turned them over to the Broward state attorney’s office.

You haven't read Caro's bio of Lyndon Johnson, have you?
https://libgen.is/book/index.php?md5=CC19F13A4F936B1755E101990AAF7B8E
Tampering with elections is an ancient American tradition. In Johnson's case, federal officials decided it was a local matter, and local officials didn't think it was a matter at all. Johnson proceeded in any case from the house to the senate to the vice presidency to the presidency.
I'm awaiting Caro's 5th and final volume about Johnson's presidency. The bio was started back in the 1970s. Some of it's quite funny. Although Johnson was big and physically imposing, his idea of fighting was to throw himself on the bed and wind mill his arms and legs in the air to fend off attackers. (See vol. 1)
And this is news how? I've seen people of all rank call every Republican since Bush a National Socialist of some form or another. The only difference is that Trump is saying it himself instead of having his pawns say it.
because you have civil service, you have the unions and you have welfare,...
As usual with Trump, there's a tiny bit of truth nestled between the lies and exaggerations: Union members and poor people who rely on government handouts are disproportionately Democrat voters.
Two points:
Why omit the civil service? However Trump should refer to government employees to ensure the inclusion of education system employees, the largest political slush fund in the world.
2. Why are Reasoners so outraged by Trump's assertions of cheating? Dems have routinely accused Reps of voter suppression without evidence for literally decades and if anything Reasoners have piled on. Left wingers also claimed Bush stole his elections without much criticism from Reasoners. Left wingers have openly lied about women earning 73 cents of what men do for the same work and that 1/2 of all personal bankruptcies in America were due to medial bills, along with numerous other lies. None of these drew even 1% of the focus Reason puts on the "Trump lies" meme. All politicians lie. Bill and Hillary have their own famous lies, Bidens only defense against lying is that he doesn't actually know what he is saying. Even Saint Obama stood in front of the country and openly lied.
And I'll say why: Reason understands the left controls the bureaucracy and levers of power. Further they know if they do not support the left on this issue they will be demonized and treated as outsiders, and their ideas will transform from acceptable if naive and quaint dissent into dangerous heresy. In other words despite framing themselves as libertarians outside the party system in reality they are appealing to leftist insiders similar to the typical college newspaper.
You're being generous. Most of the writers are more aligned with the left and progressives than the right or libertarians. A solid majority of them don't even mask it anymore outside of mentioning the word "libertarian" on occasion.
Dems have routinely accused Reps of voter suppression without evidence for literally decades and if anything Reasoners have piled on.
They're so manic about this that Major League Baseball even pulled the All-Star game from Atlanta and put it in the Mile High Shitty because of a basic bitch voter roll law passed by Georgia. That Atlanta went on to win the World Series that year while the Colorado Rockies continue to be the worst-run team in sports outside of Oakland causes me no end of amusement.
