Congressional Clown Show
Plus: Dianne Feinstein's replacement doesn't even live in California, New York's biblical floods, and more...

Government can't even do a shutdown right: Over the weekend, Congress passed a continuing resolution that will allow the government to stay open until mid-November, buying legislators more time to settle on a spending package to fund the government for the upcoming fiscal year. In the House, the bill passed 335–91; in the Senate, the vote was 88–9.
"The continuing resolution keeps overall spending levels at 2023 levels, though it does not resolve the impasse over whether Congress will continue supplying military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine," reports Reason's Eric Boehm. "That funding was left out of the final bill, but House Democrats released a statement Saturday saying they expected [House Speaker Kevin] McCarthy to hold an up-or-down vote soon on a separate bill to fund the Ukrainian efforts."
"We're tired of fucking around with these whack jobs," Rep. Don Bacon (R–Neb.) told Politico, referring to the right-wing flank in the House that had consistently opposed both spending bills and stopgap measures like this one.
A shutdown probably wouldn't have accomplished much, politically or otherwise. "We know from history that shutdowns don't really save money," wrote Boehm over the weekend. "After the record 35-day shutdown that ended in January 2019, the Congressional Budget Office found that about $18 billion in federal spending was delayed—less than half of one percent of the $4.4 trillion spent that year. The actual savings were even less, since half of that total was the result of not paying federal employees for five weeks, which means they were immediately wiped out when the government reopened and those workers got their back pay."
Of course, it's highly unlikely that members of Congress, still tasked with approving the budget for fiscal year 2024, will do anything to touch giant entitlement programs such as Social Security—one of the real culprits responsible for our nation's financial woes—over the next month and a half.
Fire alarms, how do they work? Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D–N.Y.) pulled the fire alarm in a House office building on Saturday, in what was widely perceived as an effort to delay the vote on Republicans' stopgap spending bill. "I was rushing to make a vote; I was trying to get through a door. I thought the alarm would open the door," Bowman said to reporters, oddly acting as if he didn't know how a fire alarm works.
Then he kept going: "I want to be very clear, this was not me, in any way, trying to delay the vote. It was the exact opposite—I was trying urgently to get to a vote, which I ultimately did."
Unfortunately for Bowman, the whole incident was caught on camera. "This should not go without punishment. This is an embarrassment," said House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R–Calif.), who knows a thing or two about being embarrassed in public these days.
Dianne Feinstein's replacement: California Gov. Gavin Newsom is expected to appoint Laphonza Butler, the president of the abortion rights group EMILY's List, to the Senate seat made vacant by the death of Dianne Feinstein. Back in March, the Democratic governor had vowed to replace Feinstein with a black woman. Appointing Butler, who is black, makes good on that promise.
But there's a problem: She literally doesn't live in California.
"Butler is registered to vote in Maryland but will switch her registration to California," reports Politico.
Congrats to the state of Maryland on finally obtaining three Senators.https://t.co/FuEm8IWa8u
— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) October 2, 2023
Politically, there's very little about Butler that libertarians will like. She was a senior strategist on Kamala Harris' 2020 presidential campaign before it crashed and burned. She served as president of the Service Employees International Union of California, where she lobbied for higher taxes and a higher minimum wage.
Forgive me if I seem retro by today's political standards, but I think senators should actively live in the places they're representing and possibly even be picked on merit. Crazy, I know.
Scenes from New York:
A healthy, functional city with infrastructure that definitely works:
Huge storm and flooding in NYC today. This is 4th Ave and Carroll St in Brooklyn, which is near Gowanus Canal, a superfund site.

On Friday, much of New York was brought to a halt by biblical flooding. Nearly every subway line was either closed down or substantially delayed, cars were unable to drive on highways, and lots of apartments sustained damage.

Congressional Clown Show
What's the deal with these clowns down in Washington?
If a clown farted would it smell funny?
Could you smell it with your mask on?
Triple masked. Remember the source.
I make up to $90 an hour working from my home. My story is that I quit working at Walmart to work online and with a little effort I easily bring in around $40h to $86h… Someone was good to me by sharing this link with me, so now i am hoping i could help someone else out there by sharing this link...
Try it, you won't regret it!..... http://Www.Smartcash1.com
Or a big red rubber nose?
Their behavior is setting off alarms in all of us!
"We're tired of fucking around with these whack jobs," Rep. Don Bacon (R–Neb.) told Politico...
"Just shut up and spend, already. It's not your money."
"...told Politico, referring to the right-wing flank in the House that had consistently opposed both spending bills and stopgap measures like this one."
Pluggo and Mike have long warned us about the right-wing flank.
It was only 90 out of the 200+ republicans. You know, some 40% of your party.
Why do you assume they are fists party?
I think that might have been directed at Mr. Bacon.
They are definitely part of Mr. Bacon's party.
And let me just say this, bacon is overrated as a breakfast meat.
Agreed. It is an anytime meat, not just breakfast.
English back bacon is a far superior dish, and is excellent for breakfast or in a sarnie. The American salt/fat delivery vehicle is not bad, but doesn't compare.
Canadian bacon is just ham.
English shrikes are just shrike.
I'll beg to differ. Ham comes from the shank or butt of the pig. All bacon, from pork belly bacon to back bacon, and includes side bacon, comes from the loin or middle of the pig. Back bacon (aka Canadian bacon) comes from the top middle of the pig, not in the ham area.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bacon
I know where it comes from. I know how it's prepared.
It's still ham. Texture, flavor of ham. If I put it on a sandwich, you would think it was ham. If I cubed it and put it in a soup, you would think it was ham.
If I cubed it and put it in a soup, you would think it was ham.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFIa6I5lVrk
But, Minadin, would it make a difference if it was a Cuban sandwich? Or if ENB made it?
🙂
😉
What about jowl bacon?
I like back bacon too, but some nice crispy belly bacon is a singular pleasure.
Check out Marco Pierre White’s pork crackling recipe on YouTube. That shit looks really good.
But that still leaves over 300 of the uniparty members on the other side.
A shutdown probably wouldn't have accomplished much, politically or otherwise.
It would get me off. That's not nothing.
I was rushing to make a vote; I was trying to get through a door. I thought the alarm would open the door...
Don't let the fire alarm hit you on the ass on the way out.
The funny thing was, that particular type of egress door has a time-delay lock. We use them all the time in retail and hospitality projects. You press the handle down for a set amount of time - 3 or 5 seconds, usually, the alarm sounds, and then 30 seconds later the door lock will release. That gives security enough time to check and see if it's an actual emergency or just someone trying to exit illegally for some reason.
So, if he was trying to use the door, that might have been plausible.
But, he didn't hit the door handle.
He used the manual-release pull box station on the wall to the left of the door.
It’s a blatant lie and shouldn’t even be considered.
I earned $25k last month by using the use of working on-line most effectivefor five to eight hours on my computer and this turned into so clean that i inmy view could not receive as proper with earlier than working on this internetsite. in case you too need to earn this kind of huge coins then come and be apart of us. try this internet-website on-line ...........

But is that any different than anything Bowman says?
...the Democratic governor had vowed to replace Feinstein with a black woman.
"Any one of them will do."
The good ones must have all already fled CA.
Technically she fled a while ago.
Especially a pro-abortion whacko.
“Hey look, the AI told us to find someone named Shaniqua Brown to maximize optics, and we did the best we could with the time we had” – G Newsom
Candice Owens?
Well...
Politically, there's very little about Butler that libertarians will like.
It would have been significantly more surprising for the opposite to be true.
"In a twist that literally nobody saw coming, Gavin Newsome picked a candidate from the Mises Caucus of the Libertarian Party."
Dee would complain.
I'm sure rather more than Dee would be screeching about it, but I'm standing by my claim that nobody would have predicted it. 😉
""Butler is registered to vote in Maryland but will switch her registration to California," reports Politico."
Funny how all these democrats have multiple houses in multiple states.
She literally doesn't live in California.
She can move there comforted in the knowledge she won't have to abide by any of the bullshit her party enforces on actual Californians.
Race based scholarship and affirmative action groups are arguing in court that racism is covered under the 1a and may end civil rights protections for everyone.
https://legalinsurrection.com/2023/09/11th-circuit-grants-injunction-pending-appeal-halting-black-women-only-grant-program/
Affirmative Action sure does make strange alliances. In this case, a desire to defend a grant program open only to black women may bring down the entire anti-discrimination legal infrastructure that has been in place for over 150 years, if a District Court ruling that racially discriminatory contracting is “speech and expression” protected by the First Amendment is not reversed….
Pretty cool the way the 1A is becoming the only recognized part of the Constitution. I can't wait for the RKBA to become recognized as expressive actions supported by the 1A.
What's really fun is watching the contortions required to twist every desired action into the Constitution, thus creating new twisty passages that require even more contortions.
Except democrats are putting 1a rights of government officials acting in their official capacities above citizens.
Yes, that is wrong. I'd much rather have simple robust rights than forcing the 1A to cover everything that was discarded from the rest of the Bill of Rights. It's like watching a contortionist bend herself backwards to pick up a pencil with her toes.
It's almost like leftist thoughts are not consistent and not even remotely logically defendable
Check out the podcast of Adam Conover's visit to the Joe Rogan show, or cross-dresser and kiddie mulitation supporter Jonathan Van Ness on Dax Shepherd's podcast for a great demonstration of these in action.
These people all sound even more like unhinged lunatics with no grounding in reality when they have to think and speak extemporaneously rather than take the time to craft some double-speaking sophistry in defense of their position.
anti-discrimination legal infrastructure that has been in place for over 150 years
Wut? You sure about that start date?
14th amendment was 1868. Probably what they referred to.
I've talked about this for years, and even brought this up in a different, but similar vein when the whole Trans thing became a major policy issue on that Wednesday in 2015.
True freedom of association means you can be racist A.F.
And life would be immeasurably easier. But of course that isn't what lawyers want.
So maybe I was wrong.
Turns out all this global climate warming change did cause New York to sink into the sea.
Like that is a bad thing!
Ummm, most of NY is below sea level
So another 5 to 7 meters should just about do the trick, then?
10 metrics that help shrike prove Bidens economy is actually terrible.
https://www.zerohedge.com/economics/10-numbers-which-prove-us-economy-has-hit-major-pivot-point
Do my eyes bring it to 12?
It is getting so bad Democrats are now asking the President to stop talking about the economy.
Reminder: Do not go in the flood waters, it contains pathogens and is a threat to human health.
Unless, of course, you're masked.
jump in, kids! this year's flu shot is free.
All those radioactive ions from the Jewish particle beam weapons that destroyed the WTC get washed into the streets when it floods.
Considering that theory was brought to you by the guys who don't think fire can melt steel (but can't explain how it's made), it's plausible that they believe that's how radiation works too.
I mean, some radiation works that way.
The rain part, not the Jewish laser part.

Current year politics is just bourgeois decadence on a global stage. "Wow! A retarded black lesbian in the Senate. How transgressive!"

And doesn't even live in the state she'll be representing. A carpet-bagger and a rug muncher.
Zing!
They don't care where their candidates live just as long as they follow the narrative. I seem to recall part of the Revolution was over shit exactly like that, being represented by someone who doesn't even live here.
She doesn't even go here!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIdZt5cMJdo
We are so far beyond what would have justified revolution in 1776 at this point that 18th century British colonial rule sounds pretty good.
18th Century British Rule hell, I long for the halcyon days of the Clinton Administration.
Since they don't actually give a shit about governance of course their choices are going to be performative.
She should move to represent new york, I hear they need a dyke
*applause*
Lol.
Nice!
Nice. One caution. This one comes with a bonus hole.
"I was rushing to make a vote; I was trying to get through a door. I thought the alarm would open the door,"
So the question is this; do we throw the bum out because he is a lying weasel, or because he is so stupid he doesn't know how a fire alarm works?
Oh, wait, (D). He can't be thrown out.
Hey, Guam will tip over with too many enlisted men on it.
Just because the DoJ has used or threatened to use disruption of Congress against 1100 mostly peaceful protesors doesn't mean it is now common to use the charge. Especially for democrats.
"or because he is so stupid he doesn’t know how a fire alarm works?"
Now ask White Mike how many cops have died by fire extinguisher.
Interfering with a government function seems to be a fair charge.
Does he change the batteries in his smoke detector?
Study with autopsy if people who died shortly after getting vaccines show vaccines persistent in patients hearts.
Doctors refuse to link it to myocarditis despite significant heart damage in many of the patients.
Vaccines were not intended to have persistence in the human body, especially not for 30 days. Likely causes the bodies immune system to continue to go after the vaccines spike proteins in the heart.
https://www.zerohedge.com/medical/covid-19-vaccine-found-hearts-dead-people-study
A fun one in the Daily Fail a few days ago also, about how reports of increased vaginal bleeding went up in women who got the clot shot, including those who were post-menopausal.
Also, LOL at Moderna calling its Fauci Ouchie “spikevax” now.
I imagine them roaring with laughter in the Moderna boardroom when the name was introduced.
not sure what you are trying to claim here. that they found one doctor who does not understand how causality and statistics work, to push a narrative not actually supported by facts?
3 that tested positive for some vaccine. (and i have some questions on how that testing works.)
17 with no vaccine.
5 that were never vaccinated or caught covid (and were younger than the other 20)
no other differences noted.
based on that data, you could claim that the vaccine makes you live longer easier than you could claim the vaccines did anything bad.
The study was published by npj Vaccines. Authors declared no conflicts of interest. They said the research was supported by Massachusetts General Hospital, which is in Boston.
"Some doctor"
I'm not the one making claims not in evidence with a hail mary appeal to authority of some random person in the UK who was not even part of the study.
No, you're the one denying any and all evidence because it goes against your narrative. You haven't actually had a single substantive criticism of the study. The study is linked in the article dumdum.
the study does not say what you claim...... what you claim was said by some random doctor in the UK who read the study. i don't have to critique the study, because it does not say what you claim. what you claim was pulled directly out of someone's ass who had nothing to do with the study.
Hell. You don’t even have to explain how the study is wrong! Your narrative making doesn’t require you to address any facts. Just yell other people are wrong!
OK, you are being even slower than usual, today.
the study.... does not claim what you say..... in YOUR LINK there are people who conducted the study saying the opposite of your claim, and one quote from someone who had NOTHING TO DO WITH THE STUDY saying something different. you are trying to demand i explain why the study is wrong, when THE STUDY SAYS you are wrong. you are the one who has to prove the researchers are wrong.
No. It literally claimed what I said. Then I like the doctor who had read prior studies stretched out an inference based on other studies as I linked to you below.
Never assume everyone here is as ignorant as you. It might help.
"No. It literally claimed what I said. "
no, it did not.
"Then I like the doctor who had read prior studies stretched out an inference based on other studies as I linked to you below. "
and.... you know it did not..... that is why you like the doctor who disagreed with it and spouted out a bunch of unconnected nonsense that feeds your confirmation bias. to even pretend the study says what you claim it says, you have to completely ignore what they actually said and go with the one doctor, who was not part of the study in any way, that you found who disagreed.
I can't help youre ignorant on the subject. I see you still haven't presented any evidence from your nonsensical viewpoint.
Cope.
with what? idiots making claims that are not true?
Based on your substantive debunking?
what debunking? the random doctor who had nothing to do with the study and made claims in direct opposition to what it actually says?
You’re such a dishonest fuck. From the study itself:
“These results suggest that SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccines routinely persist up to 30 days from vaccination and can be detected in the heart.”
https://www.nature.com/articles/s41541-023-00742-7
right.... the only thing they were trying to determine.... not the horseshit you guys are trying to insert that is contrary to the data. i know you are grasping desperately for a straw man, but it is pretty easy to see i never made any claim about the potential persistence of the vaccine for 30days.
The only horseshit here is coming from you. You lied and said that the study didn't say what it expressly said, and now you're putting words in everyone's mouth.
You're such trash.
You are free to cote where the doctor was incorrect you have yet to even attempt it.
considering that the people who did the study said that in the link you provided, you are free to prove they are wrong and that one random doctor who had nothing to do with the study is right.
Yet no specific statement from you. Very odd behavior.
yeah, you have just been so clear in describing how, exactly, the study is saying something the study actually says the opposite of.
It doesn't say the opposite. The opposite would be there was evidence that the prolonged vaccines didn't cause heart damage. That is not what it said. It said there was no causative evidence, ie no conclusion drawn.
So youre wrong on that point retard.
The doctor and myself have read studies linking myocarditis to prolonged immune responses as cited in the other link you have now been provided. It is an inference.
Again. Youre too ignorant and too much a retard to understand the issue.
"It said there was no causative evidence, ie no conclusion drawn."
in other words.... it does not say what you claim.
"The doctor and myself......"
and you know it does not say what you claim, which is why you have to rely on something not actually part of the study to feed your BS.
"that they found one doctor"
23 studies from 14 different universities now, but your narrative, right?
the study didn't say shit. it was some random doctor in the UK who read the study and gave you dip-shits the soundbite you were looking for.
You're such a dishonest fuck. From the study itself:
"These results suggest that SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccines routinely persist up to 30 days from vaccination and can be detected in the heart."
https://www.nature.com/articles/s41541-023-00742-7
yay... lazy copy pasta..... i made no claim about possible persistence over a 30day period. my problem is "see, the vaccine kills" nonsense that you are trying to claim that is not actually supported by that.
the argument is the vaccine has risks that weren't reported you ignorant fuck. Nice attempt at a strawman.
except..... that is not what the study actually says....
You've proven you dont understand what it said just above dumbass. Lol.
That "lazy copypasta" is the study saying exactly what you claimed it didn't, you lying fuck.
You can't handwave this away, conman.
The researchers said they believed the heart injuries stemmed from underlying diseases and not the vaccines.
"There is no indication as yet that the vaccine in the heart is causing any problems in these patients; neither the causes of death nor the causes of the myocardial injury were linked to the vaccines in that study," said Dr. Stone, one of the authors of the paper.
"Samples from the hearts of three patients, all of whom died within 30 days of a Pfizer shot, tested positive for messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA). Eight bilateral axillary lymph node samples, from people who died within 30 days of a Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, also tested positive. The companies' shots utilize mRNA.
The research shows "the vaccine can persist for up to 30 days, including in the heart," Dr. James Stone, with the departments of pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School"
"But he couched his language!!! Correlation DOES NOT EQUAL causation!!!"
They don't even try to understand the issue before rushing to defend Pfizer and Fauci.
This is on top of the reports of cancer increases post vaccines I linked to just last week.
Shrike's only goal is to defend the federal government.
not defending anything, just pointing out that the narrative you are trying to push does not actually fit the facts.
What facts have you actually inserted into the conversation? None. Zero. Zilch. Nada. You are blindly pushing a narrative of protection against your narratives.
There have been literally dozens of links here all to studies that have been peer reviewed. Your cries of nuh uh aren't actually informative.
"What facts have you actually inserted into the conversation? "
that the study does not say what you claim. what you claim came out of some random UK doctor's ass.
"There have been literally dozens of links here all to studies that have been peer reviewed. "
that is not what this is. this is you creaming your pants because someone found one random doctor in the UK who said something that the peer reviewed study in question explicitly said was false.
You have yet to counter the claims with anything from the study you say counters the claims.
“that the study does not say what you claim. what you claim came out of some random UK doctor’s ass.”
Jesse: “Study with autopsy if people who died shortly after getting vaccines show vaccines persistent in patients hearts.”
The fucking study: “These results suggest that SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccines routinely persist up to 30 days from vaccination and can be detected in the heart.”
Why the fuck are you outright lying to us, Shrike?
He's hoping you're as dumb as he is.
i get it now.... i sometimes forget just how stupid you motherfuckers are. these are the statements that i have a problem with:
"Doctors refuse to link it to myocarditis despite significant heart damage in many of the patients. "
"Likely causes the bodies immune system to continue to go after the vaccines spike proteins in the heart. "
neither one of those has any support from the study at all. the study did not even consider if a heart condition was the cause of death...... but you motherfuckers are trying to pretend it does.
a more accurate summary of the exchange.
Jesse: "the vaccines are killing people, here is proof."
me: "um... that does not actually prove that the vaccines did anything bad. the only mention of it being bad is from one random doctor who had no involvement in the study, so i am not sure what point you are trying to make."
Jesse: "why won't you try to prove the study is wrong"
me: "because the study does not say what you are claiming is true."
you: "but here is this thing it says that you never tried to argue with"
me: "WTF is wrong with you all?"
So I was right, presented the study correctly, explained how it can include higher risks and you think you’re claims are the right one despite my claims literally being supported?
Is your belief that myocarditis is not linked? And is it your claim that the immune system is not the cause of myocarditis so having a vaccine that initiates an immune response doesn’t have a risk to myocarditis?
Holy fuck are you ignorant.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6473396/
"So I was right, presented the study correctly, explained how it can include higher risks and you think you’re claims are the right one despite my claims literally being supported?"
what you presented was a study that does not agree with your premise, with a quote from one random doctor not associated with the study who did not agree. what you posted amounts to "here is a study that says i am wrong, but i found one doctor to disagree with it."
"Is your belief that myocarditis is not linked?"
this is the problem with talking out your ass when you have no idea what you are talking about.... you don't even understand the study you are claiming shows something it does not..... even your taken doctor did not use the word myocarditis. even that token doctor said myocardial injury, which is not something you would be shocked to see in a person in their 60's..... and that the actual study concluded was not connected to the vaccine. (translation.... they found it in the unvaccinated hearts too.)
1. You lied about the study.
2. You lied about attribution.
3. You lied about what Jesse claimed.
4. And now your moving the goalposts, and manufacturing quotes. For example, "the vaccines are killing people, here is proof". Jesse didn't say that you dishonest fuck.
Why are you lying about what people can clearly read just several posts up?
"1. You lied about the study."
you gotta be a lot more specific with the amount of BS coming out of you.
"2. You lied about attribution."
at this very moment, Jesse is still trying to claim something being caused by the vaccine. right now, he is arguing attribution. where is my lie?
"3. You lied about what Jesse claimed."
i quoted it directly from his first post.
"4. And now your moving the goalposts, and manufacturing quotes.......Jesse didn’t say that......"
considering how stupid you have just demonstrated yourself to be, i was trying to simplify it for you. Jesse also did not use the exact words you quoted him as saying, so i thought that would be a concept you could grasp. sorry that i gave you too much credit.
"Why are you lying about what people can clearly read just several posts up?"
back at ya, dumb-ass.
Most of us don't remain fully ignorant to reality in defense of a talking point. Some of us have read dozens of these stories. Some of us understand how the vaccines work, why long term vaccines in muscle tissue is a risk vector, and choose not blindly believing what democrats tell us.
You are not part of some of us.
I took a study. Stated its results. Linked it to known other studies regarding myocarditis and immune responses. Just like the doctor did.
Your assumption here is everyone is as retarded as you. Bad assumption.
"Most of us don’t remain fully ignorant to reality in defense of a talking point. "
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..... it would be funnier if it was not so sad. that is literally what you are doing here. digging through obscure websites to find the right confirmation bias and ignoring reality..... even when it is in the study you posted. (because there was that one doctor who disagreed.)
"I took a study. Stated its results. Linked it to known other studies regarding myocarditis and immune responses. Just like the doctor did. "
no, you took a study, ignored it's results, made up shit not actually found in the study to force a link not actually demonstrated...... and found one quack to agree with you.
basically you found a study, ignored what it actually said, and used it as an excuse to talk out your ass.
How are you not embarrassed by showing the world how little you know. And not embarrassed you can't even back up your assertions?
"The vaccinated patients were on average older, with a mean age of 64 compared to 57...."
the vaccines make you live longer!!!!!!
sure, that is ridiculous..... almost as absurd as thinking someone not outright claiming something they were never trying to test implies the opposite. these were random bodies they did autopsies on, where the cause of death was not even considered.
What's ridiculous is your straight and utter denial of all facts that go against your preferred Fauci worship. LOL.
clearly you have missed all the many times i have said what a big piece of shit Fauci is. what you presented are facts that say you are wrong, with one quote from a random doctor who was not part of the study saying the opposite of what the study actually said.
I see you blindly attacking a study here without pointing to the wording you claim is wrong in defense of the narrative to protect vaccines.
He's not blindly attacking, he's deliberately lying.
the only one pushing a narrative is you. i truly do not care if there is residual vaccine in your system for up to 30days, but you care a whole lot about the vaccine being deadly, even though the study does not actually support that claim.
You dont care because youre an ignorant state supporting fuck.
The immune response is directly linked to immune responses. The shots were sold as limited response when sold to consumers. Immune responses in fact are linked to myocarditis. But your only concern is protecting government narratives.

"You dont care because youre an ignorant state supporting fuck. "
GFY. just because i don't believe your propaganda does not mean i think the state should have any power to force it on you.
"Immune responses in fact are linked to myocarditis."
which was not part of the study you posted.
The only one who has presented any study or evidence is me.
You have rushed to ignorantly defend The Narrative without any even meager form of evidence. You have done so through both ignorance and allegiance to state narratives. Why else would you fight back against it without any for of evidence?
"Why else would you fight back against it without any for of evidence?"
basically, because i am sick and fucking tired of the assertion that if you don't buy one BS narrative you must be defending the other BS narrative..... and i am sick and fucking tired of the loud assholes who can't seem to fucking understand that saying you are wrong does not mean they are right. i am sick of people saying shit that is false and not getting called on it just because they expect others to fear being labeled as part of the "other" if they don't go along with every line of nonsense.
But you're defending a bullshit narrative despite being given 2 studies. Even incorrectly interpreting one of them intentionally while ignoring the other.
Youre defending your chosen ignorance retard. In defense of the state.
"the only one pushing a narrative is you."
You've told five deliberate, overt and blatant lies in this thread alone. Jesse and his article quoted the study verbatim.
It's pretty obvious who's spinning narratives here.
that's it.... just lie harder, and all your fantasies will become true. i have not lied once.
To think I always assumed you were a shrike sock. Convinced you're a sarc sock now.
"To think I always assumed you were a shrike sock. Convinced you’re a sarc sock now."
well, if we are down to the "accuse them of being a sock for (X)" part of the conversation....... that must mean you know you have no argument.
Hey retard. I'm the only one here who has defended their side with actual studies instead of blindly accepting The Narrative.

A headline from The Washington Post: "The rise of 'Chinese Communist Party' as a pejorative."
Is it the commie part or is it because Trumped seemed to be sparring with them and Biden seems to be in bed with them. Or do the Chicoms simply own Bezos.
All of the above.
According to WaPo and their CIA puppeteers, what the ChiComs actually call themselves is a "pejorative."
I guess I will have to calling them slant eyes
I miss the 80s when anything communist was an accepted pejorative.

Why wouldn’t there be? Despite all his faults, at least Biden recognizes the Constitution. Can’t say the same about Trump.
Nowhere in that statement do you discuss statements. Merely recognition. WHICH we know is false based on his actions.
Try to lie again sarc.
And an example of Biden “recognizing” the constitution as he willingly pushes laws the USSC has already ruled on such as eviction moratorium.
https://www.nationalreview.com/2021/08/bidens-unprecedented-attack-on-the-constitution/
He also has done it with student loans as he pushed a new rule despite a Supreme Court ruling on the subject.
Or his pledging of troops to Taiwan without involvement of Congress
As George Mason explained at the constitutional convention, “attempts to subvert the Constitution” were paradigm impeachable offenses. There was no ambiguity in Biden’s exchanges with a reporter:

Damn, caught red handed in a lie.

To be fair. I intentionally set him up not posting his comment the last few days as he kept trying to change what he said knowing he would lie about it.
Hunting over bait.
That’s fair, yes.
Biden's recognition seems to only be recognizing what it he is supposed to control from the Executive Branch based on the Constitution and then doing the opposite.
"sarcasmic: “What the… I didn’t… Oh, it’s the voices in your head again. Go die in a fire.”
No. That's what you've been inferring for months, you lying piece of shit.
See, this is why we keep your quotes. Because the second one of your narratives become inconvenient for you, you deny you ever said them.
Sarc = turd minus the pedophilia.
Are you sure about that?
Well, no.

And if Newsom was giving hand jobs, as the story line above implied, he would be saving Democracy one dick at a time too.

Newsom is a dick. Thus, he's giving himself a handjob.
So Gavin Newsom was giving hand jobs, eh?

"The continuing resolution keeps overall spending levels at 2023 levels, though it does not resolve the impasse over whether Congress will continue supplying military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine," reports Reason's Eric Boehm. "That funding was left out of the final bill, but House Democrats released a statement Saturday saying they expected [House Speaker Kevin] McCarthy to hold an up-or-down vote soon on a separate bill to fund the Ukrainian efforts."
The most insidious part is Congress agreed in January to promote 12 individual budgets at 1% less than the 2022 budget with 2% lower threshold if spending bills not passed on time.

What pisses me off is does Africa have no stories that can be told? They have to show how woke they are by squaring the circle by casting blacks as historically white characters. That's so brave. You know what is brave, telling African history. That would actually educate everyone and increase diversity. Africa was home to the richest kingdom in history. The terminus of one of the longest trading networks in history. The birthplace of humanity. But then again, the progressives may not like all that history as it would destroy a number of their cherished misconceptions.
You have to remember, the wokesters are incredibly incredibly racist. So no, they can't even imagine telling stories about actual Africans.
Forgive me if I seem retro by today's political standards, but I think senators should actively live in the places they're representing and possibly even be picked on merit.
Well Liz, Herschel lives in Texas and ran for the Georgia Senate seat.
The important thing for either party is to get the right color Senator.
So we can expect your usual racism against this woman correct?
It smacks of the Tim Scott appointment. Affirmative action bullshit. Based on race.
I forgot which SC Governor appointed Timberly Scott to the Senate though.

turd lies. turd is a lying pile of lefty shit and a pederast besides.
Serious question for you, Plugstick.
Is there circumstantial evidence that Tim Scott was born overseas like there was with Obama?
And by circumstantial you mean it was in his autobiography.
So, it's possible that I don't sufficiently understand the relevant law, but since his mother was a US citizen, I'm not sure how that's actually relevant. I know that kids born overseas to military parents are still citizens. Hell, McCain was in the same boat, IIRC, down in Panama.
I thought the children of citizens were straight up "natural born citizens" in the presidential eligibility sense. Is that incorrect? If so, what am I missing?
No, I think you got it right. I’m just pointing out that the whole thing started because it was in his book, and Hillary tried to use it against him in the primary.
AND THEN it became racist for Trump to bring it up.
Ah, gotcha.
They actually have specific exceptions for people born overseas to military parents, ambassadors, etc.
John McCain ran against Obama, and he was born in Panama. (Military exception)
Is it just military and diplomats, though? Or are children born to citizens but out of the country ineligible for the presidency?
Thanks for confirming McCain for me. I thought so, but couldn't be arsed to actually look it up. 😀
George Romney, who was a candidate for President in 1968, was born in Mexico. His parents were US citizens, but unlike McCain's parents, were not serving the US military, nor in any other government position. They were Mormons who came to Mexico because of changes that US Federal laws had forced on their church in the states. When George was born in 1907, there is no sign that they intended to ever return from Mexico. But in 1912, Mexico became unsafe for them with the outbreak of another revolution, and they came back to the US.
So if George Romney was a "natural born citizen" and qualified to be President of the US, then anyone born to a US citizen is. It was never definitely determined that he was a natural born citizen, but there wasn't any movement to disqualify him. (Who would decide, other than the American voters?)
Hell, McCain was in the same boat, IIRC, down in Panama.
Panama Canal Zone to be exact, which was American Territory then, so not the same thing. Ted Cruz was born in Calgary, Alberta which is more akin than McCain to Obama's situation.
Obama said he was on the jacket of his first auto biography.
He's Obama's half brother?

Liz is so much better than ENB who would have written a glowing expose on this turd based soley on her stance on abortion. Good job Reason on upgrading the round up to a more libertarian writer.
Personal autonomy is a vital part of liberty. In fact, we are moving in the right direction on personal autonomy – drugs, gay marriage, less police brutality, sex workers, etc. Give ENB credit there.

Notice the careful wording here.
“A vehicle that was being operated by them hit a tree.”
Why would the vehicle do such a terrible thing to the innocent “juveniles”? It’s the vehicle’s fault.
Correct phrasing: “4 blacks stole a car then drove it into a tree.”
But that would make them look stupid, and that’s not allowed.
None of the news articles confirm their race, but given “juveniles” and the demographics of Bowie, MD — I’m just taking a wild guess here.
[Link]
The fact that race wasn't mentioned, confirms their race.
Obviously they were Amish youth down from Lancaster County who knew how to control a horse and buggy but not a sophisticated English auto.
The whole byline is LOL:
BREAKING NEWS:4 Juveniles are deceased after a carjacked vehicle that was being operated by them hit a tree. Community members who witnessed the crash Stated that they tried to help the teens out of the vehicle but the flames were too much. Liz posting a tweet from Lucky Tran is rather interesting, as he's one of the biggest Branch Covidian evangelical hysterics on the planet, and would still have everything locked down from COVID if he had his way.
I think she may have used it more for the video.
I don't disagree, but that was likely because the dingdong has such a huge following that it popped up in her Twatter feed as trending.
Reason continuing to ignore the impeachment inquiry remains strange, especially given the number of articles about mere allegations against Trump. It is an official act by Congress exposing corruption.
And the defense of the corruption by media is every stranger. Biden either sold access (and based on changes to US policy after Hunter was paid it sure seems so) or 9 members of his family are guilty of fraud (selling illusion of access and not access) and FARA violation (used against multiple conservatives).
Either angle would generally interest a libertarian magazine as it exposes government corruption. But outside of one lightly touched article there has been nothing.
No EviDenCe!
After the penaltax, we have corruptifraud: it’s corruption or fraud, whichever gets Biden off the hook in any particular legal or political accusation.
This is just cuckoo bananas weaponization of the impeachment process.
The fugazis have the same position as their unofficial comment section spokesman Dipshit Dave Weigel: that it's all about Hunter's penis.
In reality, Robert L. Peters is the most impeachment-worthy "president" in American history. This mother-fucker has been betraying and selling out America to enrich himself and his family for at least 15 years, if not longer.
Stopped clocks, blind squirrels:

"the Democratic governor had vowed to replace Feinstein with a black woman. Appointing Butler, who is black, makes good on that promise."
... but you 'icky' people over there are sexist and racist????
The level of Self-Projection the left sells is amazing.
Projection is literally all they have.
They can't comprehend their opposition whatsoever; it's completely foreign to them. And why would they bother to try? So they have to fill in the gaps with what they know of themselves. It's classic myth-making behavior (from the Party of ScIeNce!). The problem is, most of what they have IS gaps.
They are obviously running out of black women to nominate. I mean, with Kamala, they already needed to reach for the bottom of the barrel.
And broke through the wooden flooring to get to her. It's like the glass ceiling, but intended as a protection from incompetence.
She'll fit right in with Fetterman.
"actively live in the places they're representing "
Perhaps the GOP in Penna. should have considered this before nominating Dr. Oz last year. Then again, the PA voters decided Sen. Slob would do a better job representing them in D.C. than would the polished New Jerseyan, Dr. Oz.
It's not really a shock that a state dominated by Sewerdelphia's vote manufacturing machine had or has Senator Pluto and the Tranny Admiral as duly elected government representatives.

On that topic: "The renowned Uyghur anthropologist Rahile Dawut disappeared in 2017 and was convicted of 'splittism,'" writes Ruth Ingram for The China Project. "Confirmation that her appeal was rejected means she'll likely spend the rest of her life in a Chinese prison."

I wonder whether the CCP's actions towards the Uyghurs and Falun Gong/Dafa are partly due to institutional memory of the last major religious movement, the Taiping Rebellion, which was both the costliest civil war and costliest religious war in history.
When a country has gone through something like that, they might well be unduly concerned about followers of other religions, aside from their general communist policies.
I’m not clear whether they’re discriminating against the Uighurs in their capacity as a religious or an ethnic minority.
In any case, the Communists shouldn’t throw stones about fanatical, grandiose political leaders killing huge numbers of people.

"Politically, there's very little about Butler that libertarians will like."
At least she supports women's natural, human and civil right to control their own reproductive organs (just like men) without interference from Big Brother theocrats who insist upon imposing their fundamentalist and sexist abortion (and contraceptive) bans.
All real libertarians support women's rights to control their own reproductive organs.
If only they actually would control them...
One of the dumbest statements ever made. Abortion has had a long discussion in libertarian circles as 2 people are involved. 3 if you dare to count the male.
Yeah, but a real libertarian is opposed to an Aborto-Freak police state.
I'm opposed to abortion. I just don't force my beliefs on others.
Is the Aborto-Freak Police State the one where you kill people's offspring and imprison dissenters or the one where you don't?
It's the one where the state doesn't FORCE your body to reproduce.
I've offered the most practical solution to this and it's the Pro-Life mob who keeps spouting delusional unicorns and BS propaganda about it.
If you cannot support ?baby? freedom. (i.e. Fetal Ejection)
UR supporting Gov-Gun forced reproduction.
99.9% of the time the woman chose the action that lead to the start of reproduction. State didn't force them to do anything.
99.9% of the time it's the driver that chose the action that lead to killing people by car. If you think it's the government job to regulate sex too just say so.
We hold the driver responsible. Glad you believe the same for the woman. Sometimes for millions of dollars forcing the person to use their body to gain money to pay the fine.
The woman freely chose to have sex in 99.9% of cases. State isnt involved.
No we don't hold every driver responsible for every accident that ever occurs even if it ended up killing someone out of some BS that they chose to drive.
But that kind of totalitarian BS is exactly what you're trying to pitch.
Where is this state sanctioned rape occurring?
The very second Pro-Life goes from conception to 1-second before.
This literally makes zero sense. Do you know what conception is?
Forced Reproduction 1-second before conception would be Forced conception which is 100% considered a RAPE.
Don't bother he emotes but isn't logical. He continues to use a sophomoric trope that is scientifically illiterate about what is and isn't alive, a definition that only applies to placental mammals, a fairly recent evolutionary trait. And then accuses others of relying on 'unicorn science'. He relies on simplistic arguments, it's slavery. It's forced reproduction etc. And when pressed he emotes further rather than offering valid counterarguments. He's more fundamentalists than the people he ridicules.
One thing is clear. You don't want to accept fundamentals of reality getting in the way of your desired gov-gun dictates on others personal life's.
I've given you numerous scientific examples and explanations of why you are wrong all you have given is insults and trope. Who is denying reality? It sure isn't me. Scientifically speaking your definition of life only applies to placental mammals and ignores developmental and evolutionary biology. Period. End of discussion. You haven't offered anything to counter my arguments. Period. You can't.
No amount of science (or BS) makes a bit of difference if you cannot produce an actual REAL live individual person. And the only way you're ever going to make that happen is by fetal ejection.
Problem is; You know you can't because 'it' doesn't have an inherent right to life until viability.
Again you're missing the point. It's already alive. Why does it not have an inherent right to life but you do?
Because my life sustains itself. Pre-viable fetuses do not.
It’s very identical to people on life support or lethal car accidents last minutes that cannot sustain life. Both of which I FULLY and emphatically support closest family members making those life/death decisions instead of relying on a bunch of nosy-lobbyists and government (gov-gun dictates) who can’t mind their own F’En business.
And I’ll tell you something else. If I’m ever found in a car accident torn to pieces where my life won’t sustain itself; I don’t want your nosy-*ss up in that business telling my closest family what to do or that I can’t just die. It's NONE OF YOUR F'EN BUSINESS.
It’s the one where the state doesn’t FORCE your body to reproduce."
If you'd payed attention during sex ed and biology you'd have learned that reproduction was complete when you finished fucking without a jimmie.
You're no more stopping reproduction with abortion at six months than you are by shooting your son in the head when he's thirty.
So set it free... You have no stable argument; just bigoted ignorance to support a religion/faith in unicorns.
Is that the same unicorn that the magic Birth Canal Fairy rides?
It would be so much more refreshing if the pro abortionists stopped playing word games and admit they are for killing a life. And then argue why that is morally defensible. Rather than dance around the blatant fact. I remember my intro biology professor saying 'i know this is going to piss some of you off, but, scientifically speaking the fetus is alive, this isn't an argument for or against abortion, just recognizing a scientific fact'. My 400 level developmental biologists said much the same thing on the first day of class, as did my reproductive physiology professor. But then they have to admit that morally the pro-life crowd also has a valid argument. And they would then lose their self prescribed moral superiority.
Every time someone like TJ makes these stupid arguments it makes my support of abortion decrease even more. I personally find abortion morally indefensible but also feel it would be impossible to legislate against it completely. But TJ makes me want to ban it all.
The Power-Mad retaliation monster of having to deal with reality.
You cannot protect a right to life when it has no inherent right to life to begin with.
Again you're missing the point. It's already alive. Why does it not have an inherent right to life but you do?
If it has an inherent right to life there is ZERO excuse not to set it free. (fetal ejection)
Hey, the dumdums double down on the same assertion that is bald on its face.
I’m opposed to abortion. I just don’t force my beliefs on others.
Now do every other law that controls and regulates the decisions you make about your own body including what food you eat. Go on.
^^^ BINGO ^^^ - It is exactly part of the Power-Madness that is destroying this nation. Pro-Life was started by Power-Mad Democrats. Republicans wrote Roe v Wade establishing Individual Rights until Viability. Now a whole clan of Republicans are acting JUST LIKE DEMOCRATS.
It involves two people. Just like you can't set a 6 week old down in a forest and walk away. There is a responsibility imparted when people choose to make an action and choice.
If I crash my car, I can't just say the compensation for any damage I caused is inconvenient and walk away.
Do I get to hold you responsible for wrecking your own car? Anytime you wreck your car you owe me damages for it. The Pro-Life argument can't win no matter what angle they try to play. The only case they hold is religious faith that has no basis in reality.
I’m opposed to abortion. I just don’t force my beliefs on others.
I'm sorry but that's an utterly silly argument. Why are you opposed to abortion? If it's just a clump of cells, it's no different from having a cyst removed. There's only any moral or ethical dimension to the abortion decision if you assume that it's something other than that, if you assume it is a separate person. But, arguing that the legitimacy of killing another person is solely at the discretion of the killer makes no sense. It's roughly equivalent to an antebellum Southerner saying "I’m opposed to slavery. I just don’t force my beliefs on others."
Pro-Life is EXACTLY supporting slavery and their argument is even more silly. Let’s just suppose a Woman gets knocked up but absolutely refuses to reproduce to the extent of running from the government. What’s the Gov-Guns going to do shoot her to save her ?baby? – talk about shooting two birds with one stone.
All in all; the only thing Pro-Life wants is to FORCE her to reproduce by threatening her with gov-guns. (i.e. Slavery).
As-if the 13th Amendment didn’t peg that right on the head with “involuntary servitude”. If Pro-Life wants to play their unicorn is a person theory they can’t just ignore the mandatory servitude of the Woman for that ?2nd-Person? that corresponds with that.
I'm going to regret this, because I know you won't make a good faith argument but emote, but now you're arguing evolution and the resultant reproductive physiology is slavery? Really? Is cellular respiration also slavery?
It's the Gov-Guns pimping out Women's bodies that makes it slavery.
Gov-Gun forced reproduction by trying to eliminate inherent rights.
Every Woman was granted the inherent right to stop a pre-viable pregnancy by GOD HIMSELF because 'it' doesn't have any independent/inherent right to life.
And when that Women rebels against the government pimping out her body to the maximum extend - defiance. The Gov-Guns (police) will kill her for absolutely nothing but Pro-Life's Power-Mad cow disease.
Who is pimping out there bodies? Is the federal government going in and making these women engage in intercourse? If not this is the dumbest argument you've made yet. The women engaged in consensual sex, which as evolution dictates, resulted in a pregnancy. That is the natural outcome of sex. No force involved. Fuck, you're an idiot.
Yes. Actually it's the State government going in and leaving no other choice but to reproduce. If there was "no force involved" gov-guns enforcing legislation wouldn't be invoked.
3 if you dare to count the male.
Hahaha
...And if the woman is on SNAP or WIC try another 130,000,000 people who want to pretend they OWN you. It is the very curse of [Na]tional So[zi]al[ism] ideology conquering individualism (what the USA was suppose to be about).
Only if it's a man with a uterus.
totes reason to appoint a Maryland resident to represent California in the US Senate.
Not only their reproductive organs but those of the child she seeks to kill formed by her own actions.
Are you ready to free the ?child? then? Seems like blatantly obvious common-sense that if you believe she seeks to kill a child you should probably free the child from her..........
Problem is: That's not what you're lobbying for. You're lobbying for FORCED reproduction.
No one is lobbying for forced reproduction. That's the problem with abortion topic, everyone is talking past each other
That's exactly what Pro-Life is lobbying for; they just propagandize over it with unicorn theories.
Are you ready to send a 1 year old off into the woods to fend for itself when a parent good bored.
Do you think fetal ejection happens in the woods?
There is no difference requiring a woman to use her body to take care of a child until delivered to proper authorities and requiring a woman to take care of a child until delivered to proper authorities
This is why your argument breaks down so easily.
The same arguments you use to justify killing a 3 month old in a womb can be used to justify a 3 month old outside of a womb.
So Fetal Ejection must only happen where proper authorities are instead of out in the woods? I'll settle for that. Actually it was your argument that just broke down.
You don't even use the correct terms. Are scientifically illiterate and you're arguments are absolute dogshit sophistry.
Yeah; That'll prove it wrong... /s
This line of argument is neither logical nor intellectually honest. It's fucking puerile as hell. And you keep making it despite its undeniable sophomoric construct. Heee hee set the baby free. Yes, in nine months when nature dictates, dipshit.
It’s 100% logical and it kills the “save my unicorn” BS propaganda exactly as it was meant to do. If it cannot exist as a person it is NOT a person yet. Imaginations and delusions don’t equate to intellectual honesty. You cannot protect a right to life when it has no inherent right to life to begin with.
There is no logic because it discounts biology. Ignoring biology negates any logic. It's sophomoric trope.
But, but ... My unicorn science!!! The same crap from environmentalists.
No you haven't yet shown they aren't alive. You're the one who is relying on unicorn science. BTW, I have a MS in biology dipshit. So keep making a fool of yourself.
I also note you didn't try to define life. Because you know you can't without proving my point. Life is not defined by its ability to support itself independently but by factors such as metabolism and cellular reproduction etc. Which the fetus has from the moment of conception. Your definition of life would render the vast majority of living organisms not alive.
Also your definition would even state a post birth baby is not alive because it can't support itself. The fact is life is not about being born, as most living organisms aren't born. Your definition only applies to placental mammals, it wouldn't apply to marsupials for instance. Or most reptiles, birds, fish or monotremes. And definitely not to most microscopic life forms. Or insects and plants.
God, I love when people try to use 'the science_ and fuck it up so bad. Keep digging TJ.
And the same endless BS sales pitch for their ?environmentalist? religion. You just go ahead and let us all know when you're ready to put this person into *REALITY* existence by fetal ejection.
You haven't countered anything dipshit. You have not made a single argument nor even attempted to counter my arguments. You just dismissed centuries of biology because you don't like it.
I dismissed it because you can't make it happen. Frankly I don't even need to read all that BS. You can either have an individual person exist or you can't and no amount of 'science' is going to change that.
Why aren't they individual humans? Do they have unique DNA? Yes they do. Are they alive? Yes they are. The reason you don't read it is because it's beyond your simplistic capabilities.
individual - existing as a distinct entity : separate.
The problem you run into is that gov-guns don’t grant human rights. If gov-guns has to grant something it is an *entitlement*. Government is there to ensure *INHERENT* human rights aren’t violated. Because a pre-viable pregnancy has no inherent right to life the Pro-Life mob want to use gov-guns to *entitle* that pregnancy to someone’s body.
In as much as you’d like to *entitle* something else to someone’s body someone else could *entitle* themselves to it and make raping her body legal. That’s not what governments job is.
Define life then? I'll be waiting. Because I can turn any argument you make into an argument that you aren't alive either by that definition. How long do you think you could live without the assistance of other people? It's a trope. Made by scientifically illiterate people who think they're clever. It's as bad as calling them parasites (scientifically speaking they're more symbiotic than parasitic). The basic fact is that scientifically speaking the are alive, just in a different stage. The undergo metamorphosis once born, allowing them to live a different life than prebirth. The have cellular activity, metabolism, they undergo development, via miosis and metosis, they have every hallmark of life. They have separate DNA, that is unique to themselves. Take a developmental biology class sometime and you would realize how sophomoric your argument is.
It's also a conceited argument. That somehow sees human life as different than any other living organisms. All multicellular life goes through metamorphosis of some kind. It can be as spectacular as a tadpole becoming a frog, or a fetus being able to survive outside the uterus. Additionally, biologists don't all agree on what is and isn't life. But they create certain hallmarks of life that a fetus meets. An egg is alive, when laid, it is undergoing cellular division, it has metabolism etc. It is also undergoing metamorphosis. Placental mammals just develop in utero as opposed to ex utero. And yes, a lot die in utero. That doesn't make them less alive. You're the one actually relying on unicorn science when you argue that fetuses of any genus aren't alive.
Additionally, placental mammals likely didn't evolve until fairly recently. Most likely sometime after the the end of the creticuous age. So, that means any definition of life that involves only life ex utero negates all life that for a billion of years before that. Defining life solely by in utero vs ex utero is scientifically illiterate.
Science, Science, Science, Science, Science, Science........
That's why Individual Rights can't exist. /s
So you admit now that scientifically speaking the fetus is alive, and therefore your precious freedom involves destroying life. Thanks for proving my point. You believe freedom involves killing others who somehow inconvenience you.
If you cannot support ?baby? freedom.
UR supporting Gov-Gun forced reproduction.
That is just blatant obviousness.
There is no such thing as baby freedom you idiot. Babies, even term, are incapable of living on their own. The only thing that's changed is preterm they are in utero, post delivery they have undergone a metamorphosis such that they don't rely on the placenta (which is their own organs not the mothers BTW) for maintenance. That is why your argument is complete bullshit. There is nothing magical about the birth canal. What happens is that evolution has created a process that allows placental mammals to have longer, more protected gestation. We can put more energy to birthing less offspring with larger brains, able to maintain their own body temperatures etc. This has given us an evolutionary advantage over egg layers and marsupials. Your entir argument is based upon emotions rather than facts. Your argument is actually closer to the environmentalists, using a pseudoscientific approach to justify your feelings. You support abortion. Good. Do so. But don't pretend like there is anything that supports the idea that a fetus is not alive nor a unique and separate human being. There are a lot better arguments for abortions than the swill you are dishing out. And above you even admit you didn't bother to read what I wrote because you're incapable of adjusting your argument in the face of contrary evidence. That's the act of a fundamentalist. Congratulations, you're at the same level of intellectual debate as the Christian fundamentalists you bashed above. Good job there.
Also, throwing around hackneyed buzz phrases like inherent right to life is the indication of a small minded individual incapable of forming their own arguments. What is and who defines what is an inherent right to life? Why is your definition what we have to accept?
Inherent Rights – a right that exists by reason of an individual’s status as an individual and *is not derived from any other source*.
All the most powerful positions in the state were selected by hand by Newsom, not the voters.
Anything less would be a *checks notes* threat to Democracy.
On Friday, much of New York was brought to a halt by biblical flooding.
Ackshuyally, Biblical level flooding that covered the whole Earth (including Mount Everest) and destroyed not only most of Humanity and all vegetation and thus deprived the Earth of Oxygen (remember, Noah didn't take in any live plants) never existed, M'Ladies.
I could keep poking holes in the story all day if I had no other life.

It's a phrase, Encog, just a phrase to describe something fairly extreme.

Wake me up when the frog plague descends on Manhattan.
Frog plague? Oh no, it's a horde of rarely-bathed snail-eating Frenchmen!
So not literal? Shhhhh!...Don't tell Ken Ham or he'll have the vapors over building an ark replica over a nothing story.
but what of Atlantis?
Different show.

NY on Friday
Well that must be why an econ professor has proposed extending Manhattan (called New Mannahatta or maybe South Madasahatter) into NY harbor. Because flooding doesn't happen and what could possibly go wrong with housing for 250,000 at sea level 'protecting Wall St' from what doesn't happen.
I didn't deny that flooding happens, only a global flood of the kind told of in Genesis and earlier told of in The epic of Gilgamesh and three other previous flood epics from that part of the world.
Strawman washed down the drain and turned to compost.
While I agree that's a nonsense story and just about impossible to be true, it's weird that you choose this particular avenue to discredit that story considering the ocean itself contains plenty of plants that produce oxygen. In fact, the general consensus is that the majority of oxygen production occurs in the ocean.
Amusing to watch someone try to discredit religious fundamentalists with religious bullshit 'science' though, I'll admit. It's literally the pot calling the kettle black.
And most if not all of that ocean life would have died if a global flood dumped toxic Elements from the land into the briny deep. Likewise, fresh water life would have died from salt from the ocean.
No pots an no kettles here. Just a Pyrex dish commenting on a pile of rust.
There aren't enough toxic elements exposed on the land to reach noticeable concentrations if mixed throughout the oceans.
OTOH, if enough fresh water to raise the sea level 30,000 feet was dumped in at once, the concentration of salt would drop by at least 2/3, and that sudden change would kill most sea life. (Never mind where all that water could have come from.) I'm not sure it would kill the photosynthesizing cyanobacteria that form the base of nearly all marine (saltwater) food chains, but I don't know of any way they could avoid bursting from osmotic pressure. Nearly everything in freshwater would also die from the sudden increase in salinity. Salmon and some sharks can go through fast changes in salinity unharmed, and cetaceans would be unaffected since they don't expose themselves to sea water through gills, but I see no chance that every link in the food chains feeding these creatures would survive.
Then when the waters recede, nearly all the plants are dead and the land has been salted. Noah's fleet of arks would have to store a couple of decades of food so they could wait for rains to wash away most of the salt - did they have canned meat or freezers to hold meat for all the carnivores? And some amazingly effective way to keep rodents, insects, and fungi out of the dried foods?
Once the land is fertile again, they'd need seeds for not only thousands of varieties of domesticated plants, but hundreds of thousands of wild plants. How many sons did Noah have to sow all these seeds?
The vast majority of oxygen in our atmosphere comes from ocean dwelling microscopic life and algae, dipshit. If you're going to use science to mock the Bible, at least get the fucking science correct, moron. Additionally, flooding wouldn't eliminate all terrestrial plant life. Many would just go dormant for the 40 days or so. And the seeds of others would spring up quickly after the flooding subsided. Not defending Genesis (which is considered allegorical by many Christians, BTW, as is the Book of Job) but pointing out your counterargument is extremely scientifically unsound. One could say as scientifically unsound as the Noah Flood is real argument.
Additionally, just for a counterargument, the asteroid that ended the Cretaceous period blocked out the sun for years, and yet plant life survived and oxygen wasn't depleted.
It's pretty sad that me, a devout Christian, appears to understand why your argument is scientifically unsound better than you, the oh so enlightened atheist.
fun read too.
See what I said to BYODB above.
You're wrong on that part also. Actually, that much fresh water would dilute those toxins to such a degree that it would be meaningless. Additionally, the water would be fresh not saltwater, so it would actually lower the salinity to a degree that it wouldn't kill all freshwater life. At best it would be brackish, like tidal influenced rivers, in which both salt and freshwater fish survive. Additionally, a large number of cyanobacteria and photosynthetic plankton thrive at the edge of ice sheets etc where runoff, freshwater, and soil contaminants are constantly being introduced into the ocean. Others thrive in estuaries, where fresh water and soil is constantly being washed into the ocean. Considering this was preindustrial society, pollutants would be largely non-existent and any so called toxins would be from the soil, which are constantly being washed into the sea all the time, and don't cause even localized die offs of phytoplankton etc. In fact they usually result in massive blooms. Again, you're wrong on the science. And you completely ignored the fact that a month long flood wouldn't eliminate terrestrial plants. Many would simply go dormant, while others would survive as seeds. Just admit you got the science wrong instead of digging the hole deeper and making yourself look an even bigger fool.
One other aspect, if all land animals, except those on the ark, are dead, who would use up the oxygen in the atmosphere? How would it deplete if there is no aerobic cellular respiration occuring, and no fires and very minimal oxidation? Hmmm Einstein. Oxygen is an element it doesn't just disappear when you stop producing it. The same as CO2. You also maintain that the oceans and freshwater life would be killed by toxins. So it won't be marine life if you're correct (which you aren't). So what would happen to the oxygen? Very little over time chemical reactions could significantly lower it, but as the story doesn't cover centuries of flood, that isn't a plausible solution. So, even on the most basic principles your life thesis is flawed.
The best scientific argument against a world wide flood, post continental mass formation (at one time, before the continents emerged the entire surface of the world was covered with water and bacteria actually evolved first in that environment, again disproving your idea that runoff would kill that life, as all those elements were still present below the surface) is that there simply isn't enough water on Earth to cover the whole surface. No need to make pseudoscientific arguments about oxygen creation and depletion.
Well, when the Earth was covered in water and all toxins were underneath the bottom, there naturally wouldn't have been any runoff. It is only when brought to the surface as land masses built up that runoff would become a problem.
And I knew that too about the amount of water. That and the imbalance between plants and animals are both equally valid arguments against The Great Flood.
For that matter, either Noah and family would had to travel the entire world to obtain two of every animal or the animals would have had to roam to the Ark and stay in one place without predators killing and eating the rest. There was only one Cubit and a half window for ventilation, and if they were as high as Mount Everest, what would keep them from freezing or asphixiating to death?
Despite all of this, people still fall for documentaries claiming to have found Noah's Ark.
Again, who are the real dipshits and morons and who are the assholes peddling this 100 pounds of shit in a 50 pound bag?
Killing either all animals or all plants or all protista or all prokaryotes or all eukaryotes would throw everything interdependent on them into a state of higgledy-piggledy.
Moreover, even excessive amounts of the constituent Elements that make up amino acids can kill living things, notably Nitrogen with plants. It doesn't have to be just toxic Elements like Lead, Uranium, Radium, or Chlorine.
You don't need to be an Einstein to understand that.
>>Not defending Genesis
if they let Steve Hackett have his songs on the albums maybe he wouldn't have left.
Well flooding the Earth in 40 days and 40 nights would require continuous rainfall with the volume and pressure of Niagara Falls. Even if this were possible, this would easily kill off all the macro-size plant life, not to mention destroy the Ark and every human and every animal on board.
With macro-sized plant life dead, algae and plankton alone could not produce the same amount of Oxygen as with both algae and plankton and macro-sized plant life unless algae and plankton multiplied exponentially, which would be much harder with all the animals dead and unable to expire Carbon Dioxide.
And despite any belief that The Great Flood was allegorical, it is still taught literally in children's Biblical media. Who are the dipshits, morons, and assholes who do this?
I feel like you might spend a little too much time worrying about the silly things that other people believe.
Typical of a certain kind of atheist, who are insulted that others disagree with them or don't fit into what they think theists should believe. They're as fundamentalists as any southern Baptists. I've always maintained that Atheism is as much a religion as theism. They're just coming to the argument from the other side. And therefore they are as susceptible to fundamentalists thinking as theists. I believe South Park did a two part special on this.
I don’t think atheism is inherently a religion, but there are definitely Atheists who make it one. Particularly the ones who are basically reactionary against a particular religion.
South Park is really good at affectionately laughing about/at religion.
It's not the atheists that make a religion of it, it's the Antitheists.
As Jacob Bronowski observed, a wrong conception of what Nature is leads to a wrong conception of what Man is.
The same worldview that speaks a Universe into being and speaks life out of being is the same one that thinks blood rituals with doves can repel leprosy or that touching garments can relieve menstrual cramps or that clay and spit can cure blindness or that the dead can be brought back to life.
And it works in reverse too. A dogma that human thoughts and deeds and destiny are determined by a mystical Dialectic of Class Struggle will try to shoe-horn everything around it until millions starlets death from trying to grow wheat in Siberia.
When people go beyond bull sessions and pot parties and try to run whole societies on silliness, it is no longer a laughing matter.
"This is an embarrassment," said House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R–Calif.), who knows a thing or two about being embarrassed in public these days."

"Hungarian-American Katalin Karikó and American Drew Weissman were cited for contributing “to the unprecedented rate of vaccine development during one of the greatest threats to human health,”
Reminds me of Obama and Yasser Arafat's peace prizes.
I suspected you would take the anti-science perspective.
I, OTOH, support vaccine research and oppose federal mandates.
Yet you keep on simping for the people who pushed the mandates while hiding the vaccine risks. Weird.
WTF are you talking about?
Go back to 2021. I was always anti-mandate and said so here.
I'm also fine with people taking all the hillbilly heroin they want. No one is more liberal than I am.
I'm sure you can prove it.
"The anti-science perspective."
If you can point out the "Science!" behind that award I swear I'll stop laughing at you, Pluggo.
Vaccine research is great. Lying about it non-stop and trying to force people to take experimental vaccines isn't so great. Maybe these people deserve the prize. But let's give it a few more years and see how it really pans out.
The Peace Prize is often enough crap - recall Tom Lehrer's remark that he gave up satire after Kissinger's Peace prize because he couldn't do any better.
Obama's was ridiculous as well, though at least he wasn't a war criminal like Kissinger.
The Literature prize is also absurd on occasion - e.g., Bob Dylan's, while the Economics prize is sometimes awarded for not particularly deep or intellectually challenging ideas, e.g., Markowitz et al for portfolio theory.
But the science prizes are rarely if ever in that category. Pons and Fleischmann didn't get one, neither did Benveniste. Just because you're a scientific ignoramus doesn't mean that the committee is.
“The anti-science perspective.”
As I said to your original flavor, if you can point out the science behind that award I swear I’ll stop laughing at you.
Generally speaking, Novel prizes are awarded decades after a discovery, not a year or two, because the scientific community waits until more evidence is available. Waits for further testing before rendering a judgement. Awarding a new discovery is fairly unprecedented and smacks of politics rather than science.
The science prizes are very politicized. One of my professors won while I was in collage and he discussed how he wasn't surprised, because he knew about 5 years prior when his turn would come
The peace prize is awarded by a different group, Norwegians instead of Swedes. IMHO, the most inappropriate Nobel Peace Prize was Yasser Arafat's - a peace prize for a promise to stop killing thousands of innocent people a year, which was almost immediately broken. Kissinger's was along the same lines, but for a less obviously false peace.
Obama's prize for what someone dreamed he _might_ do later, was just plain silly. Perhaps they should have given me a PHD in Physics in 2nd grade; I was obviously a smart kid with a strong interest in science and some talent in math, so there was no telling how high I might go. (Nope, I stopped after a BSEE. It turns out I'm the smartest person in the room only until someone brings in a real genius.)
I'm pretty sure I have created as successful a vaccine as this. Nobel here I come!
Fatass Donnie on the TV raving like a madman.

Hope you didn't get fifty-cents for that low-effort, Plugly.
It's murky. Was it really a wise decision.
In 2009, she moved to California, where she organized in-home caregivers and nurses, and she served as president of SEIU United Long Term Care Workers, SEIU Local 2015.[5][6][7] In 2018, California Governor Jerry Brown appointed Butler to a 12-year term as a regent of the University of California.[7] She resigned from her role as regent in 2021.[10]
It looks like she moved toe Delaware in 2021. Can she move back to LA for one day to be appointed Senator and claim she was a California resident due to that one day?
Plan to live in California for at least 9 months of the year.
When you move to California, you can immediately begin establishing your status as a resident. However, you will not be considered a legal resident in the state unless you live there at least 3/4 of the year.[1]
If you have homes in more than one state, your California home should be your primary residence.
I do not think she qualifies to be Senator as a former resident.
Doesn't seem so murky.
interesting to see if someone will have the balls to stop the nomination.
Someone stopping this is how the Kamala Gambit occurs.
