No charges were filed? Did they at least look into the person who claimed it was their car, or the woman who claimed it was her uncle's?
Towed vehicles are not searchef. They are inventoried. A search is to obtain evidence, an inventory is to document the contents of the vehicle. There is an important legal difference.
