Thank You for Donating and Everything You Do for Reason
Including, but not only, supporting us with your hard-earned cash!

You thought Giving Tuesday would last a single day, but—like some kind of Hanukkah miracle in reverse—here at Reason it has somehow lasted for eight days!
Today is the final day of our annual webathon, where we ask you—our beloved readers, listeners, and viewers—to donate to support Reason's journalism. Thanks to your absolutely wild generosity, we have already exceeded our initial goal of $400,000 with the help of two generous matching grants, but there is still one more match burning, so we've set our sights higher. If you donate on this final day of our 2022 fundraising campaign, you will double your money thanks to a $25,000 matching grant from a delightful married pair of Reason supporters.
Your hard-earned cash makes everything we do possible, but I want to take a minute to thank y'all for all the ways you support Reason the other 51 weeks of the year.
In a year when social media has been chaotic at best and the algorithms are always changing, we appreciate that you take the time to click, like, share, and otherwise engage our content on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok. We love it when you subscribe to our YouTube channel and pause to watch and enjoy the videos there. We are grateful when you sign up for our newsletters, including Reason Roundup and our daily email—and when you forward them to your friends and enemies. We love it when you subscribe to our podcasts. Seeing those subscriber and listener numbers edge up every week is wonderful, and it helps our advertisers feel confident about paying Matt Welch and Nick Gillespie to extemporize their ad reads. We adore it when you drop by to read online stories at Reason from all those platforms or just by coming straight here the old-fashioned way by typing our URL into your browser. And we love the true originals, our print magazine subscribers, some of whom have been receiving gorgeous slices of dead tree from us in the U.S. mail every month for more than five decades. (By the way, many of the webathon support levels include a free subscription, if you want to kill two birds with one stone today.)
The cash is necessary to keep the lights on and the presses running. But we don't exist for the sake of just existing, or even just to make a profit (not that there's anything wrong with that!). Everyone at Reason does the work we do because we believe in the importance of doing excellent journalism about the threats to and promise of free minds and free markets. When you read and share our stuff, you're a vital part of that crucial mission. Plus you get cool swag.
So, thank you.
Double thank you, of course, if you can give us your love and your cash. And really, double-double thank you, since there's still time to participate in our final miraculous match.

I am making $162/hour telecommuting. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning $21 thousand a month by working on the web, that was truly shocking for me, she prescribed me to attempt it simply

Cue all the people who spend their time in the comments to brag about not contributing.
I get paid over 190$ per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I’d be able to do it but my best friend earns over 10k a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless. Heres what I’ve been doing..

Nothing like bragging bragging about being a free rider.
The irony....
I subscribed through the bush years, and boosted their signal through most of Obama’s. Not to mention periodic donations to Cato, reason foundation, and the LP. I feel perfectly entitled to comment on how much they’ve all come to suck the last several years.
Replace the editorial board with real libertarians, not progressives in faux-libertarian skin, and maybe then I'll send a donation.
I'd rather the commentariat be replaced by people who don't shout "Leftist!" whenever someone disagrees with Republicans.
Here's a mirror for when someone disagrees with Democrats.
Except that you could scour the comments and find exactly zero examples of me doing that. Sure an impersonator may have, but if you mute it this account will not turn grey.
No worries though. I would never confuse you for an honest person who makes arguments with proof to back them up.
OK, I guess it was Tulpa then.
That was unexpected. Figured you’d go all Mother’s Lament and say that when you mute ‘sarcasmic’ and it doesn’t mute this account, that that’s proof that I was the impersonator. Truly unexpected. Unless you were being sarcastic. Yeah. You were probably being sarcastic.
Poor Sarc. You're too stupid to try and be this dishonest.
Have you ever considered reading the articles and just not clicking the box that says view comments. Then you wouldn't have to be exposed to the horrific commenters, mean girls, etc.
Hi Tulpa.
Darn that tulpa, h's everywhere.
I’ve made $1250 so far this week working online and I’m a full time student. I’m using an online business opportunity I heard about and I’AM made such great money. It’s really user friendly and I’m just so happy that I found out about it. Here’s what I do for more information simply.

Wow! How much of that are you donating to Reason? Don’t you want to see more great articles from Mike?
do enjoy the haven. gracias.
Elizabeth Nolan Brown and I cannot co-exist. For the last few months I open Reason, see something completely idiotic, and there she is. Now this month she is there quoting the 'Health Informatics Journal' (seriously) to argue that only 4.4% of teens are 'excessive internet users' and algorithms are good for us. Because a machine should decide what I see, not what I search. So libertarian.
And Reason actually published this garbage, and others, continuously. Shameful. What is Reason doing? Going the way of the Intercept, apparently.
I am making $92 an hour working from home. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning $16,000 a month by working on a laptop, that was truly astounding for me, she prescribed for me to attempt it simply.
Everybody must try this job now by just using this website. http://www.LiveJob247.com
Have you ever stopped for a moment and asked yourself why it is that "sarcasmic" is always such a ridiculously hypersensitive, overly hysterical little bitch when it cones to any and all criticism of Reason?
There is a vert good reason why. It's because "sarcasmic" is none other than Reason's so-called Editor in Chief herself, Mingo-Mango-Mongo.
The criticism of her precious little baby fills her with such rage rhat she simply can't help herself. It's not a coincidence that she's the first non spam commenter in her own fluff piece! Not at all
You'd make a terrible private investigator.
You make a terrible liar, you hyphenated blue-haired leftie freak.
