Off-Duty Florida Cop Arrested After She 'Beat the Shit' Out of a Pregnant Woman
The woman was kicked so hard that she went into labor.

A Florida police officer is accused of kicking a pregnant woman with such force that it forced her into labor.
The incident occurred Wednesday, when North Miami Beach Police Officer Amber Pacheco and her sister got into an argument with a couple from Liberty City. (Pacheco was off-duty at the time.) The investigation did not list the cause of the fight, but the confrontation escalated when Evoni Murray's boyfriend kicked Pacheco's sister in the face. As Pacheco admitted to an arresting officer, she then "beat the shit" out of Murray.
Following the kick, an arresting officer observed that Murray, who was eight months pregnant, "appeared to be in severe pain and possibly having contractions." Murray was taken to the hospital and gave birth. The baby appears to be healthy.
Pacheco later said that she kicked someone but wasn't sure of their identity. She was arrested and charged with battery.
Maj. Richard Rand reports that Pacheco has been suspended with pay while the department conducts an internal investigation. Having been at the department for less than a year, Pacheco is on probationary employment.

Cage Match !
Cop lady should have just shot the pregnant woman and her boyfriend. Then everything would be fine.
Paid vacation after less than a year on the job? Sweet!
To be fair, it happened in NMB so it's not as shocking as if it had happened in a civilized part of the world. And hell, the last time somebody from Liberty City got beat by the cops, it cost 18 lives and $100 million in damages.
Pacheco later said that she kicked someone but wasn't sure of their identity.
I mean who can keep track of all the people you kick when you're a cop right?
"...she kicked someone but wasn't sure of their identity."
"Look, all I can tell you is that it was someone. Might have been a pregnant lady, but it might have been a fat drag queen. It might even have been a kid with pillow under their t-shirt. I can't say for sure."

FOOD FIGHT!!
Because the actual aggressor was too far away or what?

Seems like she should have gone after the boyfriend. When will lady cops learn that they're not going to be afforded the same official deference as normal cops? Diversity hiring quotas will often make their very employment an issue with their supervisors and colleagues.
This aggression will stop when we get more women on the force.

I can't think of any job other than enforcing the law where you get a paid vacation for getting caught engaging in criminal activity.
I'd get fired for that shit.
The Mafia? Drug cartel? MS-13?
Uh, the Mafia gets "paid vacations" all right. That they never come back from, they're so happy.
So who is going to have to pay how much child support for the unplanned month of kid life?
Where are the child abuse charges?
Someone kicks your sister and you respond violently not toward the attacker but you instead beat the 8-month pregnant woman he's with, and the result is paid vacation for you? Public sector unions need to be introduced to woodchippers.
What I want to know is how the boyfriend was able to kick the sister in the face. Is he a ballet dance, football player? Or was the sister already beaten and lying on the floor?
At first I pictured a sort of Jean-Claud VanDamme guy. But when I thought about it some more, I instead pictured the sister as a little person.
I'm really curious what other occupations would let you stay "suspended with pay" after behavior like that.
And she hasn't even earned the cop version of tenure - what if she'd been an "experienced officer with numerous awards"?
There are a few: government bigwig (appointed position like SoS or other cabinet member, street gang member, very left-wing tenured professor, member of a secret police force, 3rd world paramilitary guerilla, ISIS person...I'm sensing a pattern here.
The department needs to lift her probationary period. She's clearly proved she's well qualified to be a cop.
