The Republican National Committee is now backing Roy Moore in the Alabama special election.

Over a Democrat? What are they thinking?

    1. Rufus The Monocled   8 years ago

      Hello.

  2. Fist of Etiquette   8 years ago

Former Republican National Committee Chair Michael Steele: President Trump's "refusal to acknowledge [that he] just endorsed an alleged pedophile for the sake of 'a vote' tells me Roy Moore will be a Trump Puppet and America no longer has a moral compass under [Trump's] 'leadership'."

The president can only hope so.

  3. Fist of Etiquette   8 years ago

The brazen assertion Monday by one of President Trump's lawyers that a president cannot be found guilty of obstruction of justice...

When the president obstructs it that means it's legal.

    1. damikesc   8 years ago

The President is the boss of the FBI et al.

But it is humorous to see people who voted to acquit Clinton of obstruction when he lied under oath demanding Trumps head.

      1. TrickyVic (old school)   8 years ago

But that was about sexual misconduct, so it's ok.

  4. Rich   8 years ago

The Republican National Committee is now backing Roy Moore in the Alabama special election.

    1. Eidde   8 years ago

What does Lou Reed have to say about that?

      1. Philadelphia Collins   8 years ago

        Or Jerry Lee Lewis?

  5. Bee Tagger   8 years ago

    "no longer"

    1. Rich   8 years ago

Yep. Unlike, say, under the preceding administration.

    2. Bacon-Magic glib reasonoid   8 years ago

Steele is a puppet of the Democratic party so they're even.

  6. Fist of Etiquette   8 years ago

...Trump's political advisers are increasingly concerned about the legal advice he is receiving.

The political advice ain't all that, either.

  7. Rich   8 years ago

The Republican National Committee is now backing Roy Moore in the Alabama special election.

    1. Rich   8 years ago

I see the squirrels are having a good day.

  8. Bee Tagger   8 years ago

Trump's political advisers are increasingly concerned about the legal advice he is receiving."

The lede in my chapter in future American History Books on the Trump administration:

    "Concerns were increasingly increasing"

  9. Fist of Etiquette   8 years ago

Another woman has come forward with a sexual misconduct accusation against Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.).

    Conyers, you dawg.

    1. Rich   8 years ago

      An *icon* dawg!

    2. OpenBordersLiberal-tarian   8 years ago

It is truly awful how these phony allegations are ruining the reputation of an honorable man. Always keep in mind that in a system of white supremacy, MOC are stereotyped as sexual predators, so it's likely Conyers' race is part of the reason he's being targeted by this right-wing smear campaign.

Just read the article, for crying out loud. Groping women in church? Was he twirling his mustache while doing this? It doesn't even sound believable.

      1. Rich   8 years ago

"When Rep. Conyers inappropriately touched me like this," said Grubbs, as reported by the paper, "my eyes would pop out and I would be stunned in disbelief."

        Would *that* sound believable?

      2. colorblindkid   8 years ago

Also, everybody seems to be forgetting that his wife spent 2 years in prison for bribery from 2010 to 2012.

        1. Conchfritters   8 years ago

My wife and I have an agreement that I can sexually harass anyone I want if she goes to the pokey for more than a month.

        2. Detroit Linguist   8 years ago

And folks who know the political scene in the Detroit area (for example, many friends who have spent their lives here) are bewildered since he's always been understood to be gay.

          1. Citizen X - #6   8 years ago

Maybe his assumed homosexualism is a cunning ploy to convince women it's okay to undress in front of him. Or maybe he'll just stick it in anything warm and concave.

            1. Rhywun   8 years ago

Or the multiple sexual harassments against women are a cunning ploy to stay in the closet.

            2. BestUsedCarSales   8 years ago

Hot and Convex > Cold and Flat > Warm and Concave

      3. Kivlor   8 years ago

    3. Conchfritters   8 years ago

Eh, it was probably while his wife was in prison.

      1. Hank Stamper   8 years ago

        Daddy horny, Michael.

  10. Bee Tagger   8 years ago

The brazen assertion Monday by one of President Trump's lawyers that a president cannot be found guilty of obstruction of justice signaled

signaled a desire to lay bare the thoughts of most powerful political figures accused of common-people crimes?

  11. Rich   8 years ago

Masterpiece's owner, Jack Phillips, is a Christian who closes his business on Sundays and refuses to design custom cakes that conflict with his religious beliefs ? for example, cakes that contain alcohol, have Halloween themes or celebrate a divorce.

Emphasis added. Let the lawsuits begin.

    1. Citizen X - #6   8 years ago

Damn, he just doesn't want ANYBODY to have a good time.

    2. Conchfritters   8 years ago

I might be crazy, but if I am a divorcee in Colorado, I think I would avoid getting a cake from the Bible thumping douche bag, and go to another bakery that celebrates my disunion from that lying, creating ho.

      1. Griffin3   8 years ago

        "creating ho"? What a cuck.

    3. Eidde   8 years ago

Wait, I thought all these bakers were hypocrites who celebrated divorce and only raised moral objections when gays came to claim their Right To Be Served?

      1. Zeb   8 years ago

        No you didn't.

    4. BestUsedCarSales   8 years ago

Divorce cakes are always single serving.

      1. Citizen X - #6   8 years ago

Any cake is single serving, if your self-respect is low enough.

    5. Juice   8 years ago

I can't wait until someone tries to force a Muslim baker to bake a cake with alcohol.

  12. Citizen X - #6   8 years ago

In wake of Weinstein, men wonder if hugging women still OK

In wake of Conyers, the answer is "no".

    1. Eidde   8 years ago

What about dry-humping? They wouldn't mind that, would they?

      (asking for a friend)

    2. Crusty Juggler   8 years ago

The "ass-out hug" is still okay, while the "rubbing your penis on her thigh until she orgasms" is still wrong.

      1. Crusty Juggler   8 years ago

Or until you make a mess in your trousers is still wrong.

        1. Bacon-Magic glib reasonoid   8 years ago

          Glad you clarified that.

      2. Leo Kovalensky   8 years ago

"The "ass-out hug" is still okay"

If you're taking below-the-belt fashion advice from Crusty, be prepared to have a lot of interesting conversations with police officers who are reluctant to touch you.

    3. Griffin3   8 years ago

In wake of Pence, they already knew how to not get accused of this crap.

    4. lap83   8 years ago

Hugging people without their consent doesn't warrant getting the justice system involved, but it's a crappy thing to do.
If you're not my family member please don't. Huggers annoy me.

      1. Crusty Juggler   8 years ago

Danny Masterson is FIRED by Netflix just two days after executive told one of the actor's 'rape victims' that the company did not believe his accusers

'I am obviously very disappointed in Netflix's decision to write my character off of The Ranch. From day one, I have denied the outrageous allegations against me. Law enforcement investigated these claims more than 15 years ago and determined them to be without merit,' Masterson told TMZ shortly after the news broke on Tuesday.
'I have never been charged with a crime, let alone convicted of one. In this country you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. However, in the current climate, it seems as if you are presumed guilty the moment you are accused.'

      Xenu will right this injustice.

    2. Rhywun   8 years ago

This decision comes just two days after the director of global kids content at Netflix told one of the four women who has accused Masterson of rape that company executives do not believe her or the other three alleged victims.

      Oh no they di'int!

    3. Citizen X - #6   8 years ago

Netflix should go ahead and write The Ranch off of The Ranch. It is a terrible show.

    4. Unlabelable MJGreen   8 years ago

      The hell is The Ranch?

      1. BestUsedCarSales   8 years ago

Shitty sitcom about rural folk that's actually just Big Bang Theory for horses.

    alleged pedophile

Anyone else getting tired of this redefinition of the word "pedophile"?

It's bad enough that "alleged" now means "guilty" but when did hitting on a teen become the same as child molesting?

    1. $park? leftist poser   8 years ago

A little bit before calling someone pretty became sexual harassment.

    2. Zeb   8 years ago

I know I am. Hitting on teens when you are 30 may be creepy and inappropriate in most cases. But it's perfectly natural and normal sexual attraction and a very different thing from wanting to have sex with pre-pubescent children.

      1. Rebel Scum   8 years ago

        Seconded.

      2. loveconstitution1789   8 years ago

That and speaking with someone in the USA who wants to listen is protected speech under the 1st Amendment. The second we Americans allowed the government to decide what is protected speech, is the moment that we gave up some of our rights under the 1st Amendment.

Demand for anal bleaching soars by 23% as women follow in the footsteps of celebrities including Sophie Kasaei, Charlotte Crosby and Kourtney Kardashian

This is why they hate us.

'It's predominately women who come for the bleaching but we have had a few men in this year too.
'There's not one particular age group, we get young women right through to older women.
'I think women are feeling under pressure from their partners to emulate the look of adult stars that are seen in porn.'

American Hero, Actor Admits the Empire Did Nothing Wrong

Driver can make a passionate case for why Kylo Ren isn't actually a villain at all.

"It's not like people weren't living on the Death Star," he says, his brown eyes shifting from puppyish to fierce without warning. He seems almost in character now. "Isn't that also an act of terrorism against the hundreds of thousands of people who died there? Did they not have families? I see how people can point to examples that make themselves feel they're right. And when you feel in your bones that you're supported by a higher power on top of that, and you're morally right, there's no limit to what you'll do to make sure that you win. Both sides feel this way."

You're starting to talk me into joining the Empire, I say. He laughs and shifts his delivery one degree over the top. "So, the rebels are bad," he says, connecting his fist with the table. "I strongly believe this!"

This means he is against the American Revolution.

Mike fucking Huckabee, of the Arkansas bible thumping Huckabees, defending Roy Moore for Senate, because the Bible technically never said you can't touch little girls in the vagina, I suppose. Vomit all over room. How do you guys stomach this crap every single day? Makes me wonder if the majority of FOX viewers are leftists who like to yell at the television and come up with straw man arguments. Like Tony for example.

Honestly, I'll watch Gutfield, but only when he pops up on my YouTube feed.

I don't watch FOX. Like all true libertarians, I get my news directly from the ghost of Murray Rothbard, then come here to comment on articles I didn't read.

              Damn, this guy is legit.

Maybe it was a joke. Mike Huckabee is one of our greatest living comedians.

the Bible technically never said you can't touch little girls in the vagina

      http://www.biblegateway.com/quicksear.....ersion=NIV

Anyhow, you assume "logical consistency" is something they understand. You see, even the Man himself said:

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."

      and:

"Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them."

How many of them say "Oh, yes, I'm a Christian" because they know they can't be elected otherwise?

(Other references to obeying God being necessary in order to be a Christ follower/Christian:
      Proverbs 8:17
      John 14:15
      John 14:23
      John 15:10
      1 John 5:3
      2 John 1:6)

Skimming the list of passages in your link, it seems like the only two times "sexual immorality" is actually defined, it means sleeping with Moabites or sleeping with your stepmother. Don't see anything in there about age.

        1. ace_m82   8 years ago

If you noted, the passage said "engaged in sexual immorality with the Moabites", which means it's not that they were Moabites, but the act they did (sex outside marriage) was the immoral part.

For the age thing, the only real mention is in Deuteronomy 22:20-22, which deals with the woman who had sex while still in her father's house (unmarried, assumed very young). Why did the woman receive this penalty? Well, you can't tell the guy did it, but you can tell the girl...

Sexual immorality is dealt with in Leviticus 18 and 20. Everything other than sex between married people is considered "sexual immorality". So yes, sex with young girls would be "sexual immorality", definitionally.

How do you guys stomach this crap every single day?

Who are you talking to? You think there are a bunch of Mike Huckabee and Roy Moore supporters around here?

      1. Tony   8 years ago

        Yes.
