The Sussex, England, police department says it has sanctioned its hate crimes officer, Sgt. Peter Allan, for using his verified Twitter account to warn a local supermarket that its "feminine care" signs are sexist and should be replaced with personal care signs. "It's an issue of gender identity. Men may use the products," he tweeted.
