@David_Leavitt/TwitterAfter admitting Thursday that he had questioned James Comey about Russia during a private White House dinner and that he would have fired him regardless of what advisors said, President Trump threatened this morning to blackmail the former FBI director if Comey leaks information to the press. Comey "better hope that there are no 'tapes' of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!" Trump tweeted Friday morning.

Seems especially cruel to govern in a way that will make people want to find escape through drugs and then punish them even more harshly than before.

...aaaaand once again, people who defended Trump and said he didn't really care about criminalizing drugs and would keep Sessions from doing this kind of shit are proven dupes and/or liars, to the surprise of no one.
It may be true that he doesn't care about criminalizing drugs, but he also doesn't care about decriminalizing them. He's a narcissistic teetotaler, why would it even be on his radar?
Right, if he doesn't care much about the drug issue, why would he expend effort to keep tabs on Sessions and order him around? Jeff's a smart guy, as evidenced by being selected by Trump for the position, so he must know what he's doing.
Don't get me wrong: I'm also sure that, if Trump knows about this memo, he thinks it's Smart and Tough, even if it expressly contradicts a belief that the drug war is stupid and wasteful.

Well, they had to pass it to find out what was in it, but haven't had time to read it yet.
The thing is, all politicians do in fact rely on violence, because all political power has the threat of violence at its root. Without the ability to initiate violence, a politician is just a guy (or lady) who won't stop talking.

We need John to come back and explain why the drug war is actually totally libertarian, in fact how can you call yourself a libertarian and not support it! Just like libertarian nationalism and libertarian
Protectionism.
I dunno. It is pretty much exactly what you would expect. Hardened drug warriors gonna drug warrior.
These guys really believe that drugs are the most worstest thing of all and that we must save people from the evil drugs. They really, truly believe that by making drug offenses the worst thing of all time that they will stop people from ruining their lives by using drugs.
In this they are not really much different from the left-SJW crowd who want to throw anyone who even thinks of a woman in a sexual context under the jail for "trafficking". Sex workers are a little different than drug users, but in the end it comes down to destroying people's lives in order to save them. Neither group respects the individual's right to set their own destiny.
Yeah...I think pretty much all of us knew that Sessions was going to be this type of guy so while I'm not surprised it is disappointing.
I find it personally disgusting that a President who we all know smoked pot in his youth didn't do a single damn thing to reschedule a drug he personally had experience with (Or, hell, George W. and cocaine. What is it with these guys?)
I think we all had 'high' hopes for Mr. Obama, but he disappointed pretty much everyone. The left still fellates him for all the things he said he would do, and I imagine we'll see plenty of that from the Republicans over the next few years.

Too much needless stress over a prolonged period of time can cause the body's cortisol receptors to completely burn out, so that the person can no longer respond effectively to actual stressors. I look forward to a near-future of affectless progs with a truncated ability to feel.
Northern Michigan University is planning a new forensic anthropology major that will include what school officials call the world's first cold-weather "body farm."
Body farms are research centers where the human body's decomposition is studied in various environments.
What a waste. Northern Michigan is about 3 years away from becoming a tropical rain forests, but with droughts, and hurricanes, and mutant Polar Bears.
The American Amusement Machine Association (AAMA) is a non-profit lobbying group that represents everyone from arcade game manufacturers like Bandai Namco and Sega to operators like Dave & Busters and Cinemark theaters, even the distributors and suppliers in between. Those members will now have to sign on to a "Fair Play Pledge" (FPP) that promises all their games will "meet a standard of performance that allows a player a fair chance of winning with every game played." (thanks to Arcade Heroes for the heads up)
What can I say, I eat like a rescue dog. I get bored waiting for everyone else to finish, so I saunter over to the games and start wasting my thick stack of singles.
I gave up on stuff like D&B's partly because they use those rechargeable swipe cards that never work properly, mostly to disguise how overpriced the games are. The line at customer service backed up to the door once from those damn things.
PCs and consoles do it better at home, and with fewer idiots spilling their beer on me.
Part of me will always miss the good old days of a pocket full of quarters or tokens at the local video arcade, but it's never coming back.
I agree on all points. The "2.5 points" pricing is clearly designed to obscure the fact that you just paid a buck and a half to play a game for 48 seconds. A game that pales in comparison to a 3 year old console game, let alone the latest PC offering.
In my youth the arcade was a wonderful place. The games were beyond anything you could play anywhere else. And for just a quarter. Or less! You'd get a deal on a bunch of tokens and split it with your buddies, then spend the evening parceling out your supply, watching each other play and talking smack. Now the only thing they have as a differentiator is the ticket games.
Boy, do the kids love the ticket games. There are a bunch of them that literally just take your money and give out a random number of tickets, and the kids love it. I can't think of a worse use of money, or a worse life lesson.
In my youth the arcade was a wonderful place. The games were beyond anything you could play anywhere else. And for just a quarter. Or less!
The point of no return for me on arcades was when it started costing a buck or more to play the newest games. Inflation probably did as much to kill off arcades as the rise of console gaming; there's still a certain visceral thrill in using a traditional arcade box, but the model ultimately wasn't sustainable except in certain venues. There's a bar in LoDo Denver, for instance, called the 1Up that's themed around the fact that it's a video arcade as well, but it's obviously paying its bills with alcohol sales.
That's actually a good idea. If you could get decent arcade games and price them cheap - maybe 50 cents - and sell alcohol? Should be a pretty good hangout. Sports on the TV, video games, beer and wings. Sounds like a fun night out with the guys.
I wonder what the upkeep is on an arcade cabinet game in that environment? Beer has gotta be tough on a console.
Sports on the TV, video games, beer and wings. Sounds like a fun night out with the guys.
There's a place with all of that up in Amherst. They have about 40 original arcade games that they still only charge a quarter for. They have a wall with beer taps on it. You give them a credit card number and they give you a swipe card to pour your own beer. It's a pretty nice place.
Oh, don't blame inflation for games costing more than $1. $0.25 on January 1, 1978 -- the year Space Invaders was introduced -- is equivalent to $0.98 today by the CPI.
The problem is that as consoles got cheaper and better, they increasingly substituted for arcade video games, reducing the volume of play, reducing revenues, driving price increases to recapture revenue, making consoles' price advantage greater, reducing the volume of play . . . and, well. They ceased being able to support themselves.
Arcades were a transitional technology between "no video games" and "video games in every home", much like streetcars and light rail were a transitional technology between "no powered transport" and "a car in every garage". But without the weird fetish on the left for public subsidies to bring them back.
I wonder if you could catch a live lobster with the those skills. I lost a few dollars trying once at a local marina. Very tough maneuvering the claw in a water tank.
Texas State Sen. Nicholas Van Campen Taylor, who is also preparing a run for Congress, wants to create a registry for teachers who have committed certain violations to prevent them from being hired in a position that has direct contact with students at a public school. He has sponsored a bill to make the registry law.
Or, y'know, we could privatize education and also make it possible to fire teachers for things other than sex crimes, like for example failing to do their jobs. Instead of letting public sector unions run the system, and acting surprised that they keep getting paid more to provide less education.
But I'm told that leads straight to Somalian Anarchy, and the children will have no textbooks to eat.
A friend of mine worked at a high school where he had sex with many students, and after one student complained he was eventually told to resign. Then he got a job at another school, and you can guess how that ended.
What the hell's with the "Texas oil heir" appellation? He's a state senator, isn't he?
He now represents Plano, Texas, home to numerous corporations such as JC Penney and Dr. Pepper Snapple. He is a direct descendant of the people who founded Humble Oil, which eventually became Exxon Mobile, as well as an Iraq war veteran and alumnus of Harvard and St. Paul's, the elite boarding school in New Hampshire. St. Paul's is famous for educating the ultra-wealthy, but also for the sexual culture which produced an infamous rape case a few years back. The notorious "senior salute," i.e sex between male upperclassmen and younger female students, was a long held tradition at St. Paul's. Mr. Taylor may be particularly sensitive to the "bad teacher" because of his experience at St. Paul's.
One "element of the St. Paul's calamity had been incubating for years: the allegations that, from the late 1940s through the early 90s, dozens of the school's masters (as the teachers were known until women joined the faculty, in 1972), including several revered ones, had sexually molested students." .
Oh, I see - we need to know this guy's a giant douchebag rich guy puppy-raper so as to not give him credit for anything.
First of all, the bad news: Neither brushing nor flossing has a significant, scientifically proven effect on cavity prevention, says Philippe Hujoel, a dentist and professor of oral health at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. (That said, the fluoride inside some toothpastes does strengthen your teeth.) Instead, the best way to prevent cavities is to avoid, as much as possible, sugar and other simple carbohydrates. However, that doesn't necessarily mean you should stop brushing and flossing altogether. Both activities keep your teeth clean and aesthetically pleasing?and remove any rogue broccoli or other food particles stuck between your teeth.
Man you'd think there'd be a way to guard your teeth from the sugar with some kind of layer of paint or something and then you could soak your whole mouth in sugar without getting on your teeth and you won't have to brush. Rinoshield for teeth. Never brush your teeth, again.!
Attorney General Jeff Sessions has announced the reversal of an Obama-era policy designed to help low-level and non-violent drug offenders avoid being subject to federal mandatory-minimum sentences.
From the WaPo piece I read on the subject:
But Sessions's new charging policy, outlined in a two-page memo and sent to more than 5,000 assistant U.S. attorneys across the country and all assistant attorneys general in Washington, orders prosecutors to "charge and pursue the most serious, readily provable offense" and rescinds Holder's policy immediately.
I've met a few of these federal prosecutors. They are pretty hard-charging. At least the ones that I have met anyway. Almost to the point of being amoral. Their attitude seemed to be "I have a winnable case, therefore I will win this case", much more than any search for justice.
So I wonder what these memos actually meant to them. I have a hard time seeing a career federal prosecutor who gets a memo that says "go easy on these guys" actually taking it easy on anyone. It doesn't really seem that most of them will need a memo to tell them to "pursue the most serious, readily provable offense". That seems like sending them a memo reminding them to breathe.
Seriously. These people live to put people in cages. They are very good at it. The US may be #40 in math scores and #16 in economic liberty, but it is #1 in its incarceration rate.
No doubt there are people who belong behind bars. But the AG and his henchmen really do not care whether putting any particular person in cage is either necessary for public safety or a good use of public funds.
One of the guys was definitely amoral about it. His only view was "what can I sell in court?" Nothing else. No regard for right and wrong. In our discussions about various cases and miscarriages of justice, he was not even capable of understanding the argument. In his mind there was only "what can you sell in court". Nothing else.
The fact of "he didn't do it" doesn't enter into the calculation. For this guy, a video that shows someone else committing a crime - but that he can get tossed as inadmissible - is only useful for the next prosecution. It is no reason to stop the current case.
So he really is completely amoral. The dude scared me. I'm glad he's not around any more. He might have been a true sociopath.
Do you think most polyamorous folk deal with it by living in denial of what their partners are doing? Therefore the readily available evidence provided by social media will pop this bubble of denial and destroy the arrangement?
It certainly sounds plausible. I have seen a few documentaries on the subject over the years and a recurring theme is "one partner wants an open relationship, they get the other partner to agree but they are never really happy about it and after a while the open-relationship advocate just ends up leaving the relationship". So there is a proclivity toward this anyway among at least a subset. The documentaries seemed to suggest that this was a majority of the cases.
Then there is the "I get off on my partner being with other people" subset. They will probably thrive on the new tech.
And then there is the "love should be multiplied, not divided" plural marriage folk (exemplified by that Mormon family on reality TV) that seem to have a comfortable place of "he's not around as much and I am just fine with that". Although they do work to keep the romantic part of their relationships away from each other.
"one partner wants an open relationship, they get the other partner to agree but they are never really happy about it and after a while the open-relationship advocate just ends up leaving the relationship".
Based on what I've seen, "I want an open relationship" tends to mean, "I want to continue sleeping around, but I need someone to keep paying the bills."
"CNN in the morning, Chris Cuomo, he's sitting there like a chained lunatic," said Trump, who sparred with Cuomo when he used to appear on the network as a candidate. "He's like a boiler ready to explode, the level of hatred. And the entire CNN platform is that way."
"This Don Lemon who's perhaps the dumbest person in broadcasting," Trump said. "Don Lemon at night it's like ? sometimes they'll have a guest who by mistake will say something good [about Trump]. And they'll start screaming, we're going to commercial. They cut him off. Remember?"
In a statement, a CNN spokesperson called Trump's remarks "beneath the dignity of the office of the President."
Not beneath the dignity of the office: murder-droning American citizens and/or brown people weddings.
Not beneath the dignity of the office: murder-droning American citizens and/or brown people weddings.
In the year 3 BT (Before Trump) i had this argument with a few hard-core lefties. I went on a rant about the intellectual dishonesty and vacuousness of the comedy world - meaning SNL, late night talk shows and Comedy Central fake news. Several years into Obama and the only fun they were able to poke at him was "wow, those republicans really don't get it". And having "The Rock" play him as a super-hero who is frustrated by his lessers.
Sure, he wasn't as easy to lampoon as Bush. But c'mon. With the affected accents tailored to the audience, designed to evoke New England intellectual, Illinois farmer and inner-city hood-rat at the same time? Nobody picked up on that? The guy ran around doing an impression of William F. Buckley working on the farm for a dozen years, and nobody thought that could be a joke?
Or promising that healthcare premiums would drop drastically and instead watching them more than double? No room for barbs here? Or committing acts of war without congressional authorization in a half-dozen countries? Or inviting people in third world countries to send their unaccompanied minor children on a dangerous and illegal trek to the US? Or smoking pot himself yet rachetting up federal enforcement against state-licensed pot dispensaries?
Actually, I think he got gently chided in a couple of circles for the mom jeans and girly-throwing motion. But only very gently, and only contemporaneously with the event.
But you have a point. Something like that should have stuck and become an SNL staple.
How hard can it be to mock an effeminate douchebag who looks like a dork while the world tries to convince you he really is super cool? Who marries a wookie that the world tries to argue is really quite lovely? A man who plays basketball a lot, apparently, but has shown zero game at any point? A man who cannot throw a baseball but is willing to model mom jeans?
And yet Trump's sockpuppets regularly appear on CNN dodging questions and hurling accusations - almost as if this whole "media feud" thing is as scripted and choreographed as a WWE event, fake news about fake news that gets the crowds revved up and cheering for their side and booing the other and the "combatants" don't care which side you're turning out to see as long as you buy the ticket. CNN gets publicity when Trump trash-talks them and - as Donald Trump can assure you - there's no such thing as bad publicity.
Jesus, it took awhile for you to get to Tu Quoque. But Trump is president now, not Obama and not Hillary. Not that holding grudges isn't healthy and sane.
After admitting Thursday that he had questioned James Comey about Russia during a private White House dinner and that he would have fired him regardless of what advisors said, President Trump threatened this morning to blackmail the former FBI director if Comey leaks information to the press. Comey "better hope that there are no 'tapes' of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!" Trump tweeted Friday morning.
And again.
And let's do that again.
It sounds like the real reason that Trump fired Comey is that Comey insulted him by calling his allegations "crazy".
You tell Trump he is amazing and awesome and the greatest ever. Especially in public. And then he lets you do whatever you want.
You don't dis the Don in public. That's way, way worse than sucking at your job.
We saw this in the early campaign days. Penn Jillette was asked if he supported Trump for president on some radio show. If I remember correctly he said that he really liked Trump and he was a great guy personally, but he didn't agree with his politics and couldn't support him for president.
Trump responded with twitter Armageddon, saying Jillette was terrible and his Broadway show stunk and he was only still around because he was on Trump's show and therefore he should be more grateful, etc. Who gives a crap about the endorsement of the fat, tall guy from Penn & Teller? Donald Trump, that's who. He cares about what people say about him more than anything else.
So expect him to go on a personal destruction campaign if Comey or anyone else from his administration says anything negative about him personally. That's just how he rolls.
Dude, is Trump secretly recording all his conversations in the Whitehouse or is doing these recording selectively? What's Trump secret recording policy? Do his lackeys record their conversations secretly also? This is huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually, this is Huuuuuuge. By hinting at the existence of recordings, he's bound to get an avalanche of FOI requests and Democrat initiated subpoenas for any and all recordings related to X.
On a long list of stupid things he's said, this is one of them.
Trump is pissed because Comey won't just come out and tell the obvious truth, which is that that the "Russian collusion" horseshit is a complete and total fabrication of the democrats to justify both their election loss and Obama's spying on him and his guys during the campaign.
Trump is completely 100% justified in firing someone underneath him who won't tell the truth for personal or political reasons.
Comey certainly had access to classified information during his tenure. Leaking classified information is still leaking classified information, whether you are currently employed by the feds or left the position.
That said, I'm sure Trump really meant something along the lines of "if you go after me publicly, I'll release plenty on you."
Republicans in Congress have been offering "a series of flat misstatements and contradictions about what is in the" American Health Care Act, writes Dave Weigel at The Washington Post.
Fuck Dave Weigel, and also fuck you, you pathological liar leftist shitbag twat.
Can I describe it instead and submit an affidavit? It's not a monstrosity or anything like that. It's a got an above average length, good thickness, veiny but not crazy or anything, uncircumsized (thank you Dad and Mom), I'm a white white guy so it's got an angelic tone to it. Good ball sack that hangs and taps the clit when you fuck her doggy style. Is this too much?
I know dude. I realize this is hot topic of contention but if you have a foreskin you would understand how crazy it would be cut it off. it's not just skin. it's got veins in it. It's part of the penis. It would be like cutting off the tips of your fingers. It's crazy. I can't believe adults do that to children.
You haven't been here for a while. Simple Mikey's current delusion is that Crusty and i are the same person (and possible are also Weigel). He hasn't used "Block Insane Yomomma" in a few weeks but he does call Reason writers "Obama mommas" from time to time, because alliteration soothes him.
Mikey's psyche is a lot like a fruit fly genome - much simpler than a human's, and therefore worth studying to figure out basic principles.
I remember when bin Laden and Al Qaeda used to make threats against the U.S.--as if they were holding back or something. 9/11 already happened and we were doing everything in our power to exterminate them. Why take such threats seriously when they're already doing everything in their power to perpetrate any terrorist attak they can?
"Trump also explained that White House press secretaries shouldn't be expected to speak "with perfect accuracy" because he was a very busy man and suggested canceling all future press briefings in favor of a daily written report.

LOL
Here's a link to "An Open Letter to Trump from the US Press Corps" as printed in The Colombia Journalism Review", in which the White House press corps. promises to unify and present a "united front" against Trump.
Trump wasn't elected despite the open hostility of the press; Trump was elected because of the hostility of the press. Seriously, White House press corps, America just isn't that into you.
As far as we know, he has abandoned all of them except this one. So I suppose that is evolution of some kind, and we should reward it with positive reinforcement.
Shreek was posting his usual flailures just yesterday. DanO is the ghost of AddictionMyth/dajjal, who was so obnoxious that the squirrels actually banned him.
There are those who theorize that they were all the same person, but while their mental deficiencies are superficially similar, the expressions thereof differ noticeably.
There's no reason for Trump to keep an FBI director he suspects might have a grudge against him around--certainly not because the guy's running an investigation against him.
You wouldn't do that in the private sector either.
If Comey had resigned a long time ago and Congress were looking to appoint an independent prosecutor, they wouldn't look to Comey to lead the investigation. His independence is too much of a question.
Comey has played politics on both sides of these investigations, and if Congress wouldn't put any faith in Comey's independence for that reason, then why should Trump?
"Attorney General Jeff Sessions has announced the reversal of an Obama-era policy designed to help low-level and non-violent drug offenders avoid being subject to federal mandatory-minimum sentences."
If this is the "policy" that I remember reading, it was nowhere near what the media make it out to be. Like many Obama era policies, the fine print directly contradicted what the policy claimed to be.
Except for the new Red Tony's crackpot theories on why Trump won the election with 3 million fewer votes than Clinton (Dey hate der press!! ) this is like the worst chat room ever

Hello.
I'm surprised by Vox. Good for them because from what I've been gathering Comey did serious damage to the FBI's image including the public trust.
But that won't stop assclowns like Toobin and Colbert from being a couple of jackasses.

DanO never goes to his bunk.
Just where do you think all those slurping sounds come from?
"Bunkering down is never a good idea"
Lincoln said it much better and seems to have been speaking directly to DanO.
"Better to keep your mouth shut and have people suspect you are a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt".
I thought that was Samuel Clemens.
Um, his name was Mark Twain, dork. The great grandfather of Shania.
That doesn't make sense. I thought her dad was Robert Palmer.
Weird. I always thought it was Lincoln.
You guys prompted me to Google. Seems there is a split on who to attribute it to, Twain or Lincoln.
"You can't trust everything you read on the Internet" - Abraham Lincoln
True dat, bitch. - Mark Twain
Party on, dudes! - Abraham Lincoln
"a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" - Abraham Lincoln.
"Grab em by the pussy!" - Trumps paraphrase.
The origin of the phrase is likely Proverbs 17:28:
"Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent; with their mouths shut, they seem intelligent."
Or that dealing with assclowns who pretend to be journalist is a pain in the ass. See Reason.

Jesus Christ. We need a new descriptor, as "thug" is now hopelessly insufficient and outdated.
Politician?
Yeah, because all politicians threaten their detractors with violence. You've finally become a caricature of yourself, sarc. Time to retire again.
Where were Trump's threats of violence?
Derpidydooooooo!
Don't respond to it, sarc.
I'm bored.
Isn't this taking the whole 'speech is violence' thing a tad far? Oh, it's Buttplug jr. Nevermind.
The thing is, all politicians do in fact rely on violence, because all political power has the threat of violence at its root. Without the ability to initiate violence, a politician is just a guy (or lady) who won't stop talking.
True. But not necessarily on each other. Professional courtesy and all that. They reserve violence for the people they serve.
That's true. Who says there's no honor among thieves?

Er... Don't want to get badmouthed like a thug? Don't can your FBI director like a thug.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions has announced the reversal of an Obama-era policy designed to keep low-level and non-violent drug offenders avoid being subject to federal mandatory minimum sentences.
Christ, what an asshole.
His nickname at the Y was Rosebud.
When DanO eats at the Y, he orders starfish.
What are the odds that DanO has never placed his tongue on a vagina?
I'd say that's a given, but i suspect he licked his mom on the way out.
Ok, that cracked me up.
I pity such people. But then, I already pity batshit trolls, so...
DanO. doesn't need vaginas.
Too busy autofellating in his bunk.
He had two pairs of ribs removed and he still can't reach it. Doesn't stop him from trying, though. Poor little guy.
I was told Sessions is going to be great, because he'll be too busy cracking down on immigrants to do drug war stuff.
Libertarian moment?
"Attention, liberals: Comey deserved to be fired and the Constitution is just fine," says.... Vox? Yep. Writer Richard Epstein condemns "the hyperventilation in Washington."
Too much needless stress over a prolonged period of time can cause the body's cortisol receptors to completely burn out, so that the person can no longer respond effectively to actual stressors. I look forward to a near-future of affectless progs with a truncated ability to feel.
And adrenaline burn is fucking painful.
It happened to my mother-in-law, among her many other problems.
You shouldn't call yourself a 'problem'.

Fun fact: Foster's is actually considered a cheap, bad beer by Ozzies, and is mainly brewed for export.
Sounds like Budweiser.
American Budweiser is (or at least used to be) the trashy beer of choice for European hipsters, much like PBR is in the States.
Budweiser is a actually based on a pretty good Czech beer called Budvar.
Yep, I had some in Vienna, damn tasty stuff. It was weird being in Austria and ordering "Budweiser," but it makes the pork go down smooth.
That's a hell of a euphemism.
I've been trying to incorporate more euphemisms in my speech. Last night I used "pull out" and "swinging by" in an email to a friend.
Wiener schnitzel in Vienna? Tasty but not much of a euphemism. Weisswurst in Bavaria? That's a euphemism.
The Foster's you get in the US isn't even brewed down under. It's just another Inbev brand for a generic lager that is brewed wherever it is cheapest.
I've now officially learned more about Fosters than I have any desire to know.
It's a cheap, bad beer here, too.
sounds like the shark was the fool. he's the one getting shitted out today.
Northern Michigan University to debut new 'body farm'
the world's first cold-weather "body farm."
What is all of Siberia, chopped tziplataya tabaka?
Also, The Body Farm was my nickname in college.
Paging you know who.
What a waste. Northern Michigan is about 3 years away from becoming a tropical rain forests, but with droughts, and hurricanes, and mutant Polar Bears.
Polargrizz. Wandering across the fruited tundra, eating Michiganders and salmon alike.
What's good for the goose is good for the Michigander.
What's not to like?
They don't leave any salmon for the rest of us?
True, I'll need to reconsider.
... ... ...
Nah, worth it.
I said it's something not to like, not that it's a dealbreaker.
I really have to visit the place. I keep hearing the hunting is really good there.
Arcade group promises ticket and claw games will no longer be "rigged"
Snowflakes ruin everything.
I am pretty good at the claw games.
Kinky.
Congratulations. I'm impressed.
Although I will say that admitting that you've played those games enough to obtain some level of proficiency is kinda telling on another level.
"These are my awards, Mother, from Army. The seal is for marksmanship and the gorilla is for sandracing."
What can I say, I eat like a rescue dog. I get bored waiting for everyone else to finish, so I saunter over to the games and start wasting my thick stack of singles.
You can go to other restaurants besides Dave & Buster's.
Right! Ci Ci's Pizza has an arcade too. And they are all-you-can-eat!
I wonder what the upkeep is on an arcade cabinet game in that environment? Beer has gotta be tough on a console
Probably depends on how rowdy people get, but I suspect there's side tables available to put your beer on while you're playing.
There are actually 3 barcodes in my city; almost all the games except pinball and skeeball are free. Tron, frogged, pacman, etc.
They're pretty cool, except the downside is heavily skewed male/female ratio.
*barcades
1up is awesome. Both of them.

Texas Oil Heir Wants 'Bad Teacher Registry' To Track Teachers Who Have Sex With Teen Students
He also wants to create a private school that will only hire teachers from the registry.
Apparently he doesn't have a news channel anywhere near him.
A friend of mine worked at a high school where he had sex with many students, and after one student complained he was eventually told to resign. Then he got a job at another school, and you can guess how that ended.
He fixed the cable?
He picked up some new chicks?
Did he debauch sixteen schoolgirls?
In a row?
Won a Democratic Primary?
He went on to serve as President of the United States from 1993 to 2001.
Way to take that baton, Citizen.
He delivered pizza to school every day?
Bow chikka bow!
Oh, I see - we need to know this guy's a giant douchebag rich guy puppy-raper so as to not give him credit for anything.
the people who founded Humble Oil, which eventually became Exxon Mobile
"...the people who founded the 13 colonies, which eventually became the United States."
"...formulated quantum mechanics, which eventually became The Internet."
I'm not sure a bill to prevent people who commit statutory rape with students is the first step in a totalitarian dictatorship, but YMMV.

So swallowing the donut whole without chewing is the way to proceed, got it.
What other way is there to eat donuts?
Mmm... donuts....
Man you'd think there'd be a way to guard your teeth from the sugar with some kind of layer of paint or something and then you could soak your whole mouth in sugar without getting on your teeth and you won't have to brush. Rinoshield for teeth. Never brush your teeth, again.!
"sacrificial anodes"
swallowing the donut whole without chewing
A strangely arousing euphemism.
Rinsing. Especially between coffees.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions has announced the reversal of an Obama-era policy designed to help low-level and non-violent drug offenders avoid being subject to federal mandatory-minimum sentences.
From the WaPo piece I read on the subject:
Way to be on the side of right, Rand Paul.
"Almost to the point of being amoral."
Almost?
But apparently a really good prosecutor....
Wow....
Much like Loretta Lynch vs. Hillary Clinton.
The New York Times Magazine tackles open marriage and polyamory circa 2017.
Prediction: the increased insecurity caused by social media will ruin most attempts at living a polyamours life.
A lot of relationships work out better once you're not around each other as much. Maybe they're on to something.
"Love never dies of starvation, but often of indigestion." - Khalil Gibran
Wait, I am not sure that is attributed correctly. Don't quote me on that.
"Wait, I am not sure that is attributed correctly. Don't quote me on that." - Chipper Mourning Somali Roadz
I am sure there will be more attempts at trying to live that life, and I am sure some will be successful, but I don't think it will become pervasive.
Some people can do it. I suspect most can't. I couldn't.
The only kind of polyamory Citizen X tolerates is feline polyamory.
IIRC, "Polyamory" was the B-side to "Feliz Navidad".
If you're all tackling each other you're probably doing it wrong, unless you're wearing the proper protective gear.
What I like about Trump: his random journalist roasts. Trump: CNN's Lemon 'dumbest person in broadcasting'
Not beneath the dignity of the office: murder-droning American citizens and/or brown people weddings.
Ok, "he's sitting there like a chained lunatic" is a wonderful thing to say.
'chained lunatic" was my alter-boy nickname
I am sorry for all your suffering.
I don't know how people willingly watch these idiots sit behind a desk in a suit and throw temper tantrums.
They look like a toddler in daddy's clothes pitching a hissy fit because he asked them to give them back.
The same reason we comment here.
>>> Here is me, channeling Anderson Cooper's trademark eyeroll.
Nope. He was the bestest ever.
Conversations like that are why I gave up on having friends.
If you can stay civil through all that bullshit, you have better people skills than me.
Don't forget the mom-jeans.
That's not the first time you ever had to say that, is it?
Citizen X's turn-ons: mom-jeans, crocs, oversized sweatshirt, nude bra and panties.
The elastic makes 'em easier to slide off.
All being worn by a Wookie.
And if you keep sending him photos of yourself in that outfit, he's sure to send you some dick pics eventually.
And again.
And let's do that again.
Well, we could always ask the NSA for their copy.
Yeah, I don't really believe the NSA is recording everything. I was a little excited the other day when I said that.
I know. Fucking crazy. This is fun.
Everybody carries a tiny networked computer with a camera and microphone in their pocket now.
Anybody still taking it for granted that their conversations are not being recorded is delusional.
What's really fun is watching you devolve into an autistic fit on a daily basis.
Slurp that thug.
Penn's been badmouthing Trump since he was on Trump's show.
Like this--"He's a great guy, but......"
Backhanded compliment? Damning with faint praise?
"better hope that there are no 'tapes' of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!" Trump tweeted Friday morning.
Comey doesn't work for govt anymore you piece of shit so it's isn't leaking you scumbag.
I think there are still a lot of restrictions on what Comey can reveal about his former job.
Who has the stranger looking penis: Mike M. or DanO?
Crusty would be happy to settle the issue for everyone.
Crusty is the expert on strange-looking penii.
Chicks dig my curves. I return the favor.
With a shovel?
Have you ever been told your penis is perfect? I've been waiting to share this one with you guys so thank you for bringing up penises.
Yes.
Your uncle was lying when he said that, though, and twelve years old is much too old to have believed that.
? I've been waiting to share this one with you guys
Oh, you cad. Pics?
Can I describe it instead and submit an affidavit? It's not a monstrosity or anything like that. It's a got an above average length, good thickness, veiny but not crazy or anything, uncircumsized (thank you Dad and Mom), I'm a white white guy so it's got an angelic tone to it. Good ball sack that hangs and taps the clit when you fuck her doggy style. Is this too much?
Is this too much?
No. Go anteaters!
[high-fives fellow anteater]
I realize this is hot topic of contention
I'm all about talking dong, but circumcision is a completely different animal.*
*Usually an anteater.
Well, with all the self-inflicted bitemarks, gotta go with DanO.
Luckily the Democrats have always been straightforward and honest on the topic of healthcare reform.
This is the most substantive contribution Simply Mikey has yet made to Hit'n'Run.
That sounds like something BLOCK INSANE YOMOMMA would say.
It's so entertaining when the midgets diss the dwarfs.

"It's so entertaining when the midgets diss the dwarfs."
Says the 'tard.
Oh, is that what that blank white space contained? Poor DanO, has to lash out because he's not worth paying attention to.
You know you can't quit me. Why the ruse?
Go back to school and get an education so you know the difference between alliteration and rhyming, idiot.
Guy who erroneously thinks "Obama momma" is a not-stupid thing to type calls other guy an idiot. What a world!
difference between alliteration and rhyming
You might want to get a dictionary.
I feel like Trump should hear this too.
'You are paddleboarding next to approximately 15 great white sharks,' chopper tells Calif. beachgoers
It's a washington post story, could not work the link.
Yeah, Trump better watch out--or the White House press corps. might turn against him!

How many personalities do you have, here, Shrike?
Isn't half the blog yours and Tulpa's sock-puppets?
As far as we know, he has abandoned all of them except this one. So I suppose that is evolution of some kind, and we should reward it with positive reinforcement.
Shreek was posting his usual flailures just yesterday. DanO is the ghost of AddictionMyth/dajjal, who was so obnoxious that the squirrels actually banned him.
There are those who theorize that they were all the same person, but while their mental deficiencies are superficially similar, the expressions thereof differ noticeably.
John is dead. Long live the new Red Tony!
Comey was a Director of HSBC Bank - a notorious drug money laundry.

My point was optics - a money laundry guy in charge of the FBI - means that the foxes are guarding the hen house.
Which is to say that the FBI is a joke. The Drug War is a joke.
Funny enough I have yet to see an agent of the agency bring up Comey's past.
Well, this was an excellent AM links thread. Thanks everyone for the laughs.
Don't shut it down already! Only three more hours until Hihn and Tony get here.
They don't shut down the breakfast bar at the Home for Pusillanimous Progtards until 2:00 PM???
"Attorney General Jeff Sessions has announced the reversal of an Obama-era policy designed to help low-level and non-violent drug offenders avoid being subject to federal mandatory-minimum sentences."
If this is the "policy" that I remember reading, it was nowhere near what the media make it out to be. Like many Obama era policies, the fine print directly contradicted what the policy claimed to be.
Except for the new Red Tony's crackpot theories on why Trump won the election with 3 million fewer votes than Clinton (Dey hate der press!! ) this is like the worst chat room ever
