Watch Matt Welch Give a Speech on July 4th at Philadelphia's Independence Hall!

If you are going to be in Philadelphia on the 4th of July—and really, shouldn't you be in Philadelphia on the 4th of July?—then why don't you just head on over to Independence Hall, where (no big deal) the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were debated and signed? The speechy parts of the festivities begin around 1 p.m., but there will be things happening there and nearby all day, obviously.

I will be hitting on some of the themes found in the Matt Welch/Nick Gillespie co-production The Declaration of Independents: How libertarian politics can fix what's wrong with America, and otherwise gallivanting around the Liberty Bell in inappropriate period costume. Come on out!
