Deadline Today! Intern at Reason This Spring.
The Burton C. Gray Memorial Internship program runs year-round in the Washington, D.C. office. Interns work for 10 weeks and receive a $5,000 stipend.
The job includes reporting and writing for Reason and Reason.com, and helping with research, proofreading, and other tasks. Previous interns have gone on to work at such places as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, ABC News, and Reason itself.
The deadline is today. To apply, send your résumé, up to five writing samples (preferably published clips), and a cover letter to:

Take a pay cut to move to DC to work for reason in a field I'm not versed in... not for me, sorry.
Now, if we were talking somewhere cheaper to live, with less blue...
That's what I was thinking.
Maybe if I could work from home, making so many $$/hr, without being a filthy camgirl. Is it really necessary in this day and age to actually be on location to proofread/research?
I guess the "other tasks" must include getting coffee and dry-cleaning, both of which would necessitate being present.
You have to report in person so they can determine if your skin is soft and supple enough to sacrifice to the Jacket.
