Brickbat: Easily Frightened

Erica Moreno and Katti Putnam are suing the Michigan Department of Corrections after one of the agency's officers shot their dog during a raid. The officers raided their house looking for a fugitive who actually lived next door. One officer entered their backyard and shot the dog. A neighbor who witnessed the shooting said the dog did not threaten the officer.

What's the use in carrying that pistol around on your hip if you can't shoot it every now and then?
Good point - from now on, all police must operate unarmed.
Hire police with no arms. Affirmative action for the handicapable, fewer dead dogs. Win win!
Half way through my first cup of coffee and you just kick me in he nuts. Well I guess that's how we know it's Friday.
I usually wait for the unfunnies - or my deranged co-workers - to mention it.
I foolishly expected a humorous cartoon.
Dogs be like, "Hands Paws up! Don't shoot!"
Woof! Woof! That's that sound of da police...
Heroes.
It's starting to read like it's just SOP to shoot dogs. Enter property, dog present? Yes. Shoot. Moving on...
Procedures were followed. Officers went home safely.
