Google maps now allow viewers to see earlier versions of street view images taken over the past seven years
Maybe I'll get a glimpse of my ancestral manse.
I'm waiting for real time street view.
You've got to work for the NSA or LAPD.
Once google car is big, that wont be too far from possible.
Maybe not true real time, but most recent visit.
FIRST
Fuck. That should have been "FIST."
Second sammich. Second.
Always.
For a while, I thought Fist had written a clever script that fired off at 9 AM and 4:30 PM like clockwork, and used some text processing to add pre-entered comments. But not after Rufus J. Firefly broke Fist's run.
Let me, I say, let me show you how it's done boy.
Meh, Fist only commented once in that links and it was at 10. Not impressed.
Shock and awe, he was stunned by shock and awe. Like a Michael Bay movie, but as a comment.
*golf clap*
The predawn links are for sycophants and products of incest.
Afternoon links for those of us living in the soft bosom of socialist Europe you benighted soul.
How do you like Czechia, Snark?
I was thinking of moving either there or Seoul.
Seoul is like Los Angeles with worse weather and slightly more Asian drivers.
Go Busan instead. Although I really liked Daegu.
I thought that was bacon?
Anyway, +1 Borderlands2
More than 60 have been killed in a train derailment in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Out of all the ways you can die in the Congo.
It is usually by machete, tropical disease, or getting raped to death
Out of all the ways you can die in the Congo.
Almost as ironic as dying of ebola in Canada, right?
Sounds like the engineer went into a curve too fast. No matter what country you're in, that's usually going to cause your train to leave the tracks.
It wasn't the only way I found Westchester comparable to the Congo (viz. metro-north incident)

I've seen mine. It's obviously from at least 3 years ago because my red Mitsubishi Eclipse, the first car I ever owned, is parked outside.
And now I feel sad.
Because you bought an Eclipse? It's ok, we all make mistakes.
I don't really blame 17 year old me for buying it used with the money I saved from my first job.
I'm actually glad my dad let me since it taught me a lesson. Still though, I loved it very much when it ran.
Mine has a for sale sign in the yard.
But not the current one, from when I bought my house in 2007.

Just in time for the people who fawn over 'Mad Men'. They can now go back to fawning about 'The Wire' and its greatness.
Mad Men won't be worth watching until Christina Hendricks releases the hounds.
Are you denying that the Wire was great?
Never watched it but I certainly don't doubt that it was.
I watched the first season recently and enjoyed it. And even started onto the second season.
But I simply cannot see it as being the greatest seriel drama TV has ever witnessed. Perhaps I was let down because of the hype.
To me, it's either the greatest drama of all time or the second greatest (behind Breaking Bad).
I need to re-watch it.
The paens to unions, newspapers, and public schools knocked it down a few pegs for me. Also, Carcetti's bitching about how Baltimore's plight is all because the stingy Republican governor won't give him enough tax money.
Doesn't that reflect the nature of Baltimore's government?
Admittedly I've never really paid attention to their local politics, but blaming republicans for their woes doesn't sound like a stretch.
I don't know. It seemed to me that Carcetti was painted to be the obvious "good" TOP MAN that liberals like David Simon pine for.
Well the Wire did air in the term of the only GOP governor singe Agnew.
How about fawning over Deadwood? I just started it (since HBO Signature is rerunning them weeknights) and I have nothing but fawns for it.
When you talk, your mouth looks like a cunt moving.
Technically, that line could have come from either Deadwood or Game of Thrones. But the former has everything in the universe beat for use of the term "cocksucker".
I prefer the Charlie Utter/George Wolcott exchange.
Er, Francis. Fucking Hearst and his denial of an edit feature.
I am good at first impressions, and you are a fucking cunt.
Obligatory.
Wire Season 5 was about as great as an anal cyst.
The rest of the series was good, though.
I liked the darkly cynical approach to an MSM newsroom.
It certainly beats my current haemorrhoid.
Should Chinese-only Crest toothpaste ad concern Richmond residents?
Using your mother tongue is a threat to multiculturalism.
Also, I highly doubt this woman would be able to cope with all signs being French only.
Jesus fucking Antichrist. Just when I think people can't get any stupider - Chait, Ardis and this woman, all in a space of minutes...
What should *really* upset Ms Starchuk (great name, BTW) is that the Chinese ad says to use "Clest".
She must want them all to be in Newspeak.
Champions League update:
There was a match today.
No Spoiler.
And all you motherfuckers better keep it that way.
But you were right about yesterday's game, what a snoozer.
Not going to spoil.
For those of you without dogs in the fight, who are you rooting for now? I'm on Atletico. Most Liverpool-like of the 4.
None.
They can all suck my dick.
RM-Bayern was the match up I wanted to see and we get 2 legs of it so I'm satisfied.
what a snoozer.
That's because it was soccer.
Remember when the nutcases kept claiming Obama was adding 16-20,000 IRS agents?
The truth? The IRS has 8,000 fewer agents than in 2009.
The report also said IRS performance levels for enforcement and taxpayer services have "decreased or fluctuated" since 2009, during which time the agency lost the equivalent of about 8,000 full-time employees.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/.....rformance/
Try responding to the voices in your head in your head.
John, humor me on this: Can you explain to me what is equivalent to
? I mean, if I have an organization, and I somehow lose "the equivalent of about 8,000 full-time employees", what have I actually lost? 16,000 part-timers? 800 robots? A handful of Dells and an older Okidata fax?
And "full time employee" is not the same as "agent". Like I said before, if shreek wasn't retarded, the world would make a lot more sense to him.
Well, thank God for that shutdown last year! Whew!
the voices in your head in your head
Nice band name.

So that means the Obamacare penaltax will be unenforceable? And will thusly cause the inevitable death spiral? And Obama doesn't give a flying flibbity fuck.
Why do you come here?
I picture him sitting at a computer, with a little stuffed animal next to him, maybe a pony or something, that he reads all his posts to so he can bask in its loving, validating approval.
"Boy, I really showed those peanuts this time, eh Snuggles!?" he says, wiping away the drool that's fallen onto his bib.
This haunting image makes so much sense. I'll be sure to pitch the idea to Rob Zombie tonight so he can utilize it in his next movie.

Georgia's governor has signed a gun rights law that allows licensed owners to carry their weapons in more places, including schools, bars, churches, and some government buildings.
Does that include the legislative chambers? Especially the space adjacent to hoplophobic lawmakers?
People will be able to carry firearms in government buildings that don't have metal detectors, such as city halls, libraries, recreational centers, city office buildings and fire stations.
So, no.
Aargh. There goes our chance to explain what the shoulder thing that goes up really is. Or that clips are reusable.
But they honor PA carry permits, so Peach State or whatever the fuck your motto is here I come!
We also have Empire State of the South.
The official state motto, btw, is Wisdom, Justice, Moderation.
KY allows carry in the capital building, but not the legislative chambers or committee rooms. But offices are fine.

Don't ask.
Oh, DO tell...
I'll believe Chelsea Manning is a woman when he swaps that Y chromosome for another X one.
What is her revised birth certificate, chopped liver?
Compared to biological facts, yes a state issued document is chopped liver.
I'm waiting for Manning to demand a pap smear and tests for ovarian cancer.

Grand Jury decides use of force unauthorized in deadly shooting, DA promises to investigate further, totally not hoping for it all to blow over so she doesn't have to charge the cop.
Channel 2 Action News has learned that a grand jury has found that a Euharlee police officer was not authorized to shoot a 17-year-old while responding to a call in February.
Authorities say Cpl. Beth Gatny fatally shot Christopher Roupe, saying Roupe was pointing a gun at her on Feb. 14 when Gatny knocked on the door of the Roupe home to serve a probation warrant to the teen's father.
Roupe's attorney said family members told him the teen was holding a Nintendo Wii controller
Channel 2 Action News pulled Gatny's police officer standards and training paperwork and found she voluntarily resigned from the Bartow County Sheriff's Office, but it says she was terminated by the Acworth Police Department after 10 years on the force.
According to a letter from the Acworth Police Department, Gatny was terminated due to exhausting her Family and Medical Leave entitlement.
It also showed she didn't work for a year before getting hired in June by the Euharlee Police Department. Since 1999, Gatny has had more than 28 hours of training just on the use of deadly force.
"More than" 28 hours of training in 15 years?
Yikes.
No, no. That can't be right. The gun grabbers are always telling me how highly trained the King's Men are.
"28 hours? That's like, a whole day and then some."
Obviously the problem is that Wii controllers weren't around during her most intensive training.

To the extent that this requires business owners to allow guns where they otherwise might not allow it, can't agree with this kind of law. My property, I get to decide what you get to take onto it.
Looks like I don't have a problem, assuming that there's nothing elsewhere in a section that would contradict this:
c) Except as provided in Code Section 16-11-127.1, a license holder or person recognized under subsection (e) of Code Section 16-11-126 shall be authorized to carry a weapon as provided in Code Section 16-11-135 and in every location in this state not listed in subsection (b) or prohibited by subsection (e) of this Code section; provided, however, that private property owners or persons in legal control of private property through a lease, rental agreement, licensing agreement, contract, or any other agreement to control access to such private property shall have the right to forbid exclude or eject a person who is in possession of a weapon or long gun on their private property in accordance with paragraph (3) of subsection (b) of Code Section 16-7-21, except as provided in Code Section 16-11-135. A violation of subsection (b) of this Code section shall not create or give rise to a civil action for damages
Ive argued this here before, but my body is my property. Not yours.
You can ask me to leave, however.
That is just what the government wants you to think.

The obsession with Prefontaine on my high school track team was disturbing.

I'm having a hard time thinking of a way to refute this, so I'm just gonna go ahead and start throwing batteries.
I would imagine that "pizza" in Philadelphia involves some sort of fake cheese product, rather than, you know, cheese.
No. It says he was delivering pizza.

Georgia governor signs new gun law, concealed carry now permitted just about anywhere public
It's legal for licensed gun owners in Georgia to pack heat in bars, schools, churches and some government buildings.
Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal, a Republican, on Wednesday signed the state's "Safe Carry Protection Act," which critics dubbed the "guns everywhere bill," in north Georgia, on the edge of the Chattahoochee National Forest and Cohutta Wilderness area.
"Our state has some of the best protections for gun owners in the United States. And today we strengthen those rights protected by our nation's most revered founding document," Deal said in signing the bill.
The new law, which goes into effect July 1, allows licensed gun owners in Georgia and visitors from 28 other states to bring a gun into a bar without restrictions and carry a firearm into some government buildings that don't have security measures. It also allows school districts to decide whether they want some employees to carry a firearm and religious leaders to decide whether to allow licensed gun owners to tote to their church, synagogue or mosque.
Sounds like freedom.
And Shackford didn't even give you a hat tip above.
I always seem to skip over the middle link.
The interesting part of this "radical, groundbreaking, carry-everywhere" (according to the MSM) law is that many states already allow carry in most of these venues.
allows licensed gun owners in Georgia and visitors from 28 other states to bring a gun into a bar without restrictions
They mean, "without restrictions other than those imposed by the owner of the establishment" correct? I can't support the law if it doesn't allow the business owners to set rules on acceptable conduct on their property.
The Atlantic discovers that there is no possible way everyone can afford to see a doctor in the new ACA era every time they need routine medical care. But this little throwaway line made me spit-take:
Wait, what? A quarter of the US population will be on Medicaid by 2024?
If the economy gets ruined enough, sure, we'll be poor enough to qualify for Medicaid.
Unfortunately if when the economy gets ruined enough "poor enough to qualify for Medicaid" won't equal "actually receiving Medicaid."
Just imagine if George Bush had ever said "America just needs to see nurses more often".
This is what they did in the 70s when they screwed everyone. They just said "this misery is just the new normal and the best you can expect." God I hate these fucks.
Not a quarter - given how shitty medical care will be, expect an additional 10 or 11 million extra deaths each year.
Small price to pay to reduce our carbon footprint!
The Supreme Court has ruled to limit how much restitution victims can demand from people who possess child pornography but were not responsible for producing it.
Courts are mandating payment to people appearing in illegal pornography? Seems like that would run afoul of other things.

Jodie Foster gets married
Congrats to Jodie Foster and her new wife Alexandra Hedison.
I can exclusively reveal that the Oscar winner and her photographer girlfriend of almost a year got married this past weekend. A rep for Foster confirms the happy news.
As E! News first reported, the two started dating sometime last summer.
"It's pretty serious," a source told us in September. "They're totally in love."
Internet chatter about the two began in the summer when the two were photographed together at a technology seminar at Fox Studios in Los Angeles and out to dinner with friends a few days later. Both were at the opening of Alan Cumming's Macbeth in NYC back about a year ago, but they weren't photographed together.
Based on the photos I don't see much to fantasize about.
This has to be terrible news for John Hinckley.
Maybe he'll be invited, for closure.
photographer girlfriend
"Oh, so you like that type of 'shooter', huh?" Hinckley sobbed.
Thid whole Chelsea Manning thing can't be doing the transgender activists any favors. It would seem to link leaking documents to being a "crazy tranny" so while i get her position, ot makes trangenderism seem look like a threat to "national security" and leaking as some weird way of acting out your unresolved mental issues.
In fairness, J Edgar Hoover was all about transgenderism and he was a "true patriot"
It's less of a problem than you think. The LGBT community has learned the lesson that defending some people to the hilt is a losing strategy. Besides, there's nothing that can be said about Manning (sadly ironic name, now that I think about it) that hasn't been said a thousand times about transfolk already.
"Besides, there's nothing that can be said about Manning (sadly ironic name, now that I think about it) that hasn't been said a thousand times about transfolk already." Chelsea Manning is hotter than Chelsea Clinton?
Repost from an earlier thread: InBev distributors get isolated on FL craft brew fight as MillerCoors lobby organization defects.
The distributors have been taking a pounding in the media. Some have even gone so far as to wonder if the three-tier system isn't outdated.
Yes, the big breweries stepped out of the way on the recent reforms to Texas craft beer laws. They knew the writing was on the wall.
AFAIK (and seemingly true from reading the actual statement), they never supported it. It's always been just the InBev distributors that were leading the fight.
To be clear, I am only talking about the totally unaffiliated distributors. Like the Tallahassee area InBev distributor Tri-Eagle sales, which is owned by a man whose wife's maiden name was Busch. Totally by coincidence. Although thanks to the three-tier system, its really the distributors who are getting fucked. I think Yuengling may be the only big brewer bottling in FL, but I could totally be wrong about that.
Yuengling is big?
I mean, yeah, sure, they are the largest American owned brewery, and slightly bigger than Sam Adams, but they are still pretty tiny compared to the big boys.
But huge compared to most of craft.
Is Cigar City the next biggest in FL?
Yes, it is outdated.

The wound has healed: Group plans to raise new Joe Paterno statue in middle of State College
There will reportedly be a new Joe Paterno statue in State College.
Penn State isn't involved, neither is the Paterno family. It's not the university rebuilding the former statue of Paterno outside of Beaver Stadium that was removed in July 2012 following the Jerry Sandusky child abuse scandal.
But it is a response to that removal. Onward State reported that a group of "Penn Staters" are raising money through a Kickstarter campaign to build a new statue. It will be located outside the Tavern Restaurant, depict an "iconic photo" of Paterno sitting on a bench eating ice cream, and it'll cost $300,000. The group asked Paterno's widow Sue if she would like to be included, but she declined.
The school didn't have much to say about the project.
"We became aware of it through a secondhand news source, so we're not in position to comment on it because it's not university-related," a Penn State spokesperson told For The Win.
Sebastianelli didn't want to wait for Penn State to make a decision about potentially honoring Paterno in the future, so he took matters into his own hands.
No word on whether or not the bronzed Paterno will be depicted turning away from the college and thus looking the other way.
My God those people are pathetic. The guy let an assistant use the athletic department as a honey trap for young boys he wanted to sodomize. Let it go for Christ's sake.
I've got an idea for the plaque inscription: "In honor of a man who, through his actions, helped touch so many young people..."
+69 NAMBLA
Q: Why is the Paterno statue backwards?
A: So it can look the other way.
Making flu vaccines from tobacco.
Two years ago, the U.S. Department of Defense ponied up $21 million to see if flu vaccines could be grown in tobacco plants. The project was a rousing success, producing 10 million doses in just 30 days. Next step ? getting it past the FDA.
Clinical trials have shown the vaccine to be 100 percent effective on mice. The CDC has given Medicago the thumbs up, and the vaccines recently passed Phase 1 of FDA testing (small, focused trials on humans). So how soon will we be seeing these vaccines on drugstore shelves? Likely not until 2018.
Anyone familiar with the FDA's stringent drug review process knows it doesn't happen overnight. And in this case, you've got powerful preventative medicine ? often given to children and the elderly ? coming from a plant that's known to be toxic. One imagines the agency will be taking every precaution.
But assuming it works out, Henry says this same process could be applied to any number of vaccines (e.g., rabies or rotavirus).
"We think this is going to forever change how vaccines are produced," he says.
Henry says that so far, public reaction has been largely supportive. "I think people like the idea of creating something positive from a plant with such negative stigma," he says. Of course, it helps that the vaccine extraction process leaves no residual nicotine. The new vaccines will even be vegan-friendly ? some vegans currently avoid egg-based flu vaccines.
I like Modern Farmer, but damn they seem to love the FDA.
Anyone familiar with the FDA's stringent drug review process knows it doesn't happen overnight.
Actually, it happens over thousands of dead bodies.
Over 40,000 voters are registered in both Virginia and Maryland
the number of voters who actually cast multiple ballots is relatively small. ... 164 people voted in both states during the 2012 election.

So basically, this is just making a sensationalist headline out of the discovere that there are people who lived in Maryland and moved to Virginia or vice versa.

Oh, I doubt that.

Cop locks man up and then coerces him to have sex. Man given two years probation for prostitution. Cop gets 2.5 years probation for bribery...after he's allowed to retire of course.
If a civilian man coerced a woman to have sex with him, and the woman was charged with prostitution, I wonder what the outrage would be like. The double standard when it comes to police is AWFUL.
I've never heard of "felony prostitution" or someone getting two years probation for turning tricks before. Methinks there may be some discrimination against transgendered prostitution at play in progressive Chicago here.
Feminist: Society needs to address the 'Confidence Gap'
The benchmark for this female loss of confidence is eternal male overconfidence, and that overconfidence has real costs. Why do men assume they are so great? It's not our brain chemistry. It's not a confounding mystery. Men assume they are so great BECAUSE WE KEEP TELLING THEM THEY ARE. We know that overconfidence is an issue and that male disappointment in the face of unrealistic expectations is a big problem. Where are our best-selling books telling men to be a little more humble about their abilities? Or books discussing how widespread tolerance for men's overestimation of their own abilities may be detrimental to them and those around them?
We've known about this gap for ages. "Something" happens to create it, roughly between the ages of 4 and 14. That "something" will not be significantly offset by individual girls and women pulling themselves up by the bootstraps. That "something" is good old-fashioned sexism expressed in gendered socialization and a default cultural preference for institutionalized male domination of public life.
Girls are ceding public space before they even have a chance to engage. We don't call this a girl crisis when, quite clearly, it is.
I forgot it is Wednesday, girls are in crisis on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. It is the rest of the week that "girls can" and "men are no obsolete".
Do they make some kind of calander that helps you keep track with the daily Prog reality?
I blame the Spice Girls. If they hadn't broken up, Girl Power would have totally transformed the world.
"Something" happens to create it, roughly between the ages of 4 and 14.

Just so I'm clear, they're going to buy back something like 10% of their value and dilute the remaining outstanding shares by 85%? That doesn't seem like a great deal for shareholders to me. Am I wrong about this?
Well, there will be no dilution, on a per-shareholder basis. If I owned 1% of the shares pre-split, I'd own 1% of the shares post-split, except that I'd own 7 times as many shares as I used to
(Buying back shares into treasury should decrease dilution, not increase it)

He's clearly worried about headhunters resurfacing out of the Borneo jungle and invading. Totally reasonable.
So I've been think that the biggest problem with the Progressives, Anarchists and Communists is their belief that the State is bad but first we need TOP MEN to take over the state and smash the plutocrats, landlords, corporations and end inequality so the stateless utopia will result. However too much of that has resulted with them the anti-state rhetoric of the progs and commies being forgotten (except when their enemies are in power) anymore. This is also how classical liberalism has morphed into modern progressivism today.
The problem they all have is that their Utopian world views depend on man being something he isn't. They all turn to "top men" in hopes of transforming man into the ideal. Shortly afterwards is usually when the killing begins.
Classical liberalism didn't morph into progressivism. It was just renamed to libertarianism because progressives were too ashamed to self-identify as progressives so they stole the "liberal" label. Shriek is just the last progressive who didn't get that memo.
"Liberal" in the UK still retains its original meaning.
"Liberal" in the UK still retains its original meaning.
I don't know about that. The LIBERAL Democrats don't really seem very classical liberal to me. Nick Clegg sounds like Ed Miliband-lite.
Also the last few Liberal PMs weren't all that classical. And did Lloyd George promote Keynes?
I think there is some part of the concept of "Anarchist" That you are missing.

Exactly. Most anarchists aren't ancaps. Expect to see them bitching about tax cuts and budget cuts as well.
Actually, I think that most of the non-ancap "anarchists" arent, no matter what they call themselves.

Just gotta kill off the kulaks and parasites first...
What the fuck? What the fuck?! Just because Adam Smith formally described division of labor in 1776 doesn't mean it was invented then. These people have no clue what the fuck capitalism is.
That was my thought. How do you get old enough to use a computer and not understand that.
Bill Gates made it so easy to use a computer you get geniuses like Nick there that can spew their baby talk on the interwebs.
Not to mention the author who makes a good capitalist living from his rag.
Kong? Gumi, a Japanese construction company, was incorporated in 578. It's not the first corporation. It's the oldest one still in operation. There are at least ten more which have been in operation since before 1000.

Hooray for mercantilism!
And the grand champion of all internet comments ever made. Drumroll, please...
Yeah, lets tear everything we use to produce stuff down. That is clearly the first step to wealth and fairness.
There is an old Edgar Allen Poe called Hop-Frog about a dwarf jester who takes his revenge against the king who employs him by getting the court to dress as orangutangs and then setting the suits on fire. These people are clowns. They are just pathetic and funny. Yet, they are going to end up being dangerous at some point.
I wish I could quit you, idiotic comments.
BUT MOST NOTABLY you completely forget what Venezuela was like before Chavez and Cuba under Batista. Most people lived in abject poverty, under a very brutal regime. Do some research, for real.

"And NOW...well, most people in Cuba and Venezuela live in abject poverty, under a very brutal regime. But their leaders are very skilled at lying about it, and THAT is what's important."
Congrats, Warty. I now hate you more than I hate NutraSweet for the stories about your exploits.
Obama Is Eating At The Legendary 'Jiro Dreams Of Sushi' Restaurant
there are only 10 seats [, making it] hard to secure reservations.
No news about how the SS handled security, given the location is a busy subway ....
You know who else had SS handle security.
FDR?
Son of a bitch. I want to go there--why does he get to? Doesn't he have a job or something? This pisses me off to no end.
I really enjoyed that film, too. The man is serious about his sushi.
I was treated to some excellent sushi in Tokyo once. For some reason they didn't.tell.me I.was eating Fugu until after I had the.first.piece. I think.they thought we'd be squeamish or something. Damn was that good.
I have heard of the.movie and that it was good.
It's really enjoyable, and there's something very cool about watching someone that dedicated to his craft. It's very Japanese.
Warning, MASSIVE nut punch ahead: Texas man victimized by robbery, deputy responding shoots his dog
Middleton called 911 and eventually took over harvesting silage from his grandfather. He and his father were in a nearby field when law enforcement arrived.
Middleton said when the deputy arrived to investigate, the deputy claimed the dog was about to bite him and shot the dog to defend himself.
"She's barking when he pulls into the driveway letting me know someone's at our house, an intruder is here, or a person who she would think was an intruder that she's unfamiliar with. She's barking. The officer gets out of his car, and all the while we're headed up [there]. He gets out of his car and shoots my dog in my front yard," Middleton recalled.
Middleton says the dog was shot in the head. He begged the deputy to finish off his cowdog named Candy since the dog was suffering.
"I was so upset. I went over there to her and she was still alive and I begged and pleaded with him to please shoot her again because I don't have any firearms. They got stolen. He went and got in his vehicle and backed out of my driveway," Middleton explained.
"And then I had to do the unthinkable, the otherwise unthinkable. I had to kill my dog with my bare hands and put her out of her suffering, praying for this to be over with," Middleton said.
Jesus christ...
I think it would take about two or three high-profile cases where a dog owner blows away the cop who just killed his dog, then being acquitted, and we'd start to see fewer and fewer of these stories.
No, we'd see more dog owners shot right after their dogs are shot, with cops claiming they felt threatened, and charges never being brought.
No, we'd see more dog owners shot right after their dogs are shot, with cops claiming they felt threatened, and charges never being brought.
In a case where a lone deputy rolls up and shoots a dog, then in turn gets blown away himself, the dog owner would have an opportunity to either turn himself in or surrender to a responding SWAT unit. Granted, if they show up in pairs, the dog's owner would stand a pretty good chance of being murdered on the spot.
Holy fuck.
. . . the deputy claimed the dog was about to bite him and shot the dog to defend himself.
I Googled this story and found an article about it on Daily Caller. One of the commenters:
"I have a nephew who is about 36,he killed a woman in a wreck a few years ago, forged his mother name to checks and he has never had a job more than two weeks. Lies about everything. It would be very difficult to find someone more worthless. A few months ago he got his first real job. He is now a cop. So I can understand why we read something like this everyday."
(Whenever someone posts one of these stories here, I almost always try to find as many stories on it as I can, simply so I can read people's comments.)
James J Braddock ain't got a thing on the real Bergen Bulldog.
FTA: An off-duty North Bergen police officer has been charged with biting a man's thigh and causing serious injury during an early morning fight in North Hudson Park, officials said.
Officer Alex J. Guzman, 34, of Woodridge, made his first court appearance yesterday on the charges of aggravated assault and making terroristic threats in connection to the incident which occurred just after midnight on April 8 in James J. Braddock/North Hudson Park, officials said.
Bonus points for doing it in Braddock Park.
:Don't know if this has reared its head today
Remember when leftist music festivals were used to protest the government instead of being used to suck its dick?
Sloop-you have almost quoted me verbatim with that.
I just want to post "Suck it HARDER!!! Drain that government cock!!" on their site.
Remember when leftist music festivals were used to protest the government instead of being used to suck its dick?
So never?
No, no, the wrong people used to be in charge.
Nothing says "freedom and anarchy" like doing propaganda work for the government. I never trusted those fucks before. Nice of them to confirm they are exactly the authoritarian boot licking fucks I thought they were.
Here's a question: What if the people who showed up en mass for the standoff show back up to "protect" the Bundys from the BM schmucks?
That'll be interesting...
I am betting on the Bundys. Dirty hippies never come armed. It would be Altamont all over again with the Bundy supporters playing the role of the Angels and clubbing the hippies like seals.
I saw a headline referencing that a couple of.days ago, but didn't read the article. I wondered if.it was a pro-or con-Bundy operation. Nice.to see.that mask has slipped.
So, This Is Burning Man, eh?
Progressive activist Sean Shealy said Bundyfest, which will be held across the road from Bundy's ranch in Bunkerville, Nevada, for one month starting on Sept. 5.
And Raw Story still can't string together a coherent sentence.
Married lesbian 'throuple' expecting first child
The state of Massachusetts doesn't recognize three-way marriage ? but these women insist their unconventional union is very real to them.
"In our eyes we are married," said Brynn, 34. "We had specialist lawyers draw up paperwork so our assets are equally divided."
What! Impossible!
The talking heads on Fox News were right! Gay marriage is leading to total societal breakdown!
"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again." And by "succeed," I mean "kill your wife".
Fortunately, they've relieved this fine officer of his duties so he can focus on his priorities. IOW, his wife will probably be dead within a month.
How does Banjos feel about your definition of "succeed"?
You should have asked her a few hours ago when she was supposed to get the kitchen cleaned.
Enjoy some illustrated dragons for St. George's Day.

Five Hasidic Jews charged in beating of gay, black Brooklyn man
Fashion student Taj Patterson, 22, has said he was headed to his Fort Greene home after a night of partying last December when over a dozen ultra-Orthodox men assaulted him on Flushing Ave. in Williamsburg while shouting anti-gay epithets.
Aharon Hollender, 28, Abraham Winkler, 39, Mayer Herskovic, 21, Pinchas Braver, 19, and Joseph Fried, 25, were charged with gang assault and other counts, but not with any hate crimes, authorities said Wednesday.
"We simply cannot allow anyone walking on the streets of Brooklyn to be knocked to the ground, stomped and brutally beaten," said Brooklyn district attorney Kenneth Thompson.
The group, at least two of whom belonged to a volunteer patrol called Shomrim, were looking for someone who vandalized cars in the area and stopped Patterson, prosecutors said.
Two things: if there are hate crimes, one would think this is an obvious example.
And two, Brooklyn has Hasidic Jewish street gangs?
Oh yeah, there are Hasidic street gangs. The hasidic community in Brooklyn is insane.
"We simply cannot allow anyone walking on the streets of Brooklyn to be knocked to the ground, stomped and brutally beaten," said Brooklyn district attorney Kenneth Thompson.
I feel like this should go without saying...
So the "except by those on the city payroll" is implied?
10 Weird and Wonderful Things About Living Among Hasidic Jews.
Amusing article, but my god that comment section is a cess pool.
Apparently so and I bet they are pissed the Amish got a reality show and they didn't.

How soon until A&E, Discovery or History make this a reality show?
Not soon enough
Cop finally charged after sexually assaulting a woman he had pulled over for a minor traffic violation.
FTA: The woman says after Evans stopped her, he told her to drive to a location down the street where there was little traffic.
She says he put her in the back of the squad car and asked her what was she going to do for him, then told her to show him her breast.
When she pulled only a portion of her top down, he reportedly said "I want to see it all," and forced her to bear it all while he fondled her.
When he was finished, she says he let her go.
A few days, later she reported him after picking him out of a line-up of Raines Road officers.
"That is not something that you would expect out of a police officer of course. That guy should be reprimanded for that," said Sonia Hills of Whitehaven.
The punishment may be harsher than that.
He could lose his job after only three years on the force.
Evans will have an administrative hearing soon to decide that.
OK, we have an idiot "civilian" and a separate justice system for the cop. What a fucking country!
Actual letter from sorority senior to her sisters
I'm going to be so blunt and truthful with you sloots you will learn everything you need to know about college right here in this letter?
1. Have sex.
Have sex with as many boys as you can. Well, not exactly, check out their penis first. Dick pics are God's gift to women. Make sure you inspect the goods before you let it penetrate you vagina. Having sex is awesome. The best thing you can do for your sex life is to learn to love sucking dick. It is one of my favorite pastimes. I could suck dick for like 7 minutes, anything after that is too long. You should have definitely made your man bust his load all in your mouth in 7 minutes. If you can't achieve that, sorry sweetheart but you have better chances at becoming a lesbo than getting dick.
2. Swallow that load
If you are one of those "classy" ladies who don't swallow. Go crawl into a hole with Ellen DeGeneres and learn to eat pussy, because that is what you are. Spitting is for quitters, you swallow that sweet 'n' salty mix like the real woman you are. Your man for the night will forever tell his bro's about you dick sucking abilities. Oh, if you haven't noticed by now, I love sucking dick. I crowned myself the dick sucking queen and no one is ever taking that title from me, so back the fuck off.
Honey, just go ahead and charge for it. It pays well and jobs are hard for young people to find these days.
Jezebel posted this? Isn't that slut shaming or some stupid shit?
Oh, if you haven't noticed by now, I love sucking dick. I crowned myself the dick sucking queen and no one is ever taking that title from me, so back the fuck off.
Crowned herself? Who does she think she is, some sort of blowjob Napoleon?
A dude wrote this.
Meanwhile in Russia:
The article slips disconcertingly from fingerprinting those with "dangerous diseases" to universal fingerprinting without explanation.

I guess there's a bill for universal fingerprinting and one for just fingerprinting those with communicable illnesses?
At least someone in the Russian govt isn't completely nuts.
And his name's Kalashnikov! You could drag that guy through the mud for five days and roll a tank over him, and he'd be back at work the next day, good as new.
He's a Russian politician dissenting against the expansion of state police powers. That's very likely what they'll do to him.

Thanks.
Two points about that:
1. Some people understand that a license shouldnt be necessary and that lawyers can handle the paperwork.
2. The license is probably "necessary" because the state cant be trusted to properly deal with contracts.
You forgot something.
You also can't contract away the estate tax.
Dude there is a guy that knows what the deal is for sure. WOw.
