Says cops falsely claimed he was on bath salts

The bizarre case of the Hollywood exec who claims cops beat him bloody, falsely accused him of being on bath salts and ultimately ruined his life went before a jury in federal court Tuesday.

Lawyers for former Universal Pictures co-chairman Brian Mulligan said in opening statements that the badly injured father of two brought his $20 million lawsuit against Los Angeles police because he was an innocent citizen needlessly brutalized by dirty cops.
