The Senate blocked a Democratic plan to push the next fight over raising the debt limit until 2015 as lawmakers struggled to find a path to prevent a U.S. default and end the 12-day government shutdown.

    Man, I need a program!
    Yesterday, a spokes-lifeform for Obo said they weren't going to go for a GOP bill to push the decision down the road a bit. Now the GOP isn't going to go for a similar plan?
    I'm sure there's some detail I'm missing; WIH is going on?
