Australia Seizes Over 400Ib of Meth From Tires
Two arrested
TWO dock workers have been arrested in a major drug-smuggling crackdown on Victoria's waterfront that has stopped $200 million of ice hitting the streets.
A multi-agency taskforce seized more than 200kg of crystal methamphetamine that had been concealed in the tyres of a truck that arrived in Melbourne on a ship from China last week.
AFP Commander Scott Lee said three members of an international organised crime syndicate, including two dock workers, had been arrested in eight raids carried out this week.
